    Nice looking brace I'm about to order the ASR and was wondering how they compare . Props to NADC I've worked with a few guys that went there .

      Yeah what i was getting at was like your not gonna shave 10secs off a lap time but it does hold everything square and that creates some better consistancy when cornering.

    do subframe Brace fit well ?i have the excatly same truhart Brace and LCA for my 2000 civic
    but my machanic told me LCA could hold well , but BRACE requires alot spacers to fit chassi
    so now im with Hardrace LCA BRACE kit with Huge Swaybar witch is directly bolt on

      The brace and the frame has a big gap in between. It doesn’t fit right which supposed to be. They should have provided some spacers. So sad. China made.

    Yeah ive been rolling the idea around just not sure which one i want. Too thick or too thin and it might adversely affect the drivability. Doing research

      did it make any differance in the handling?

      @@icantintyou well im not sure, ive not really pushed it. It makes about the same as strut tower braces. Cant wait to get one for the back towers. It reassurance at the least.

      Norton Garage I’m getting ready to do the same to my 95 del sol along with the trailing arm bushings upper and lower braces as well. Thank you

      ASR makes good stuff. Truhart does too but personally everyone praises ASR because their stuff is just top of the line. I have LCAs I picked up from
      them and they came with solid bearings and energy suspension. They aren’t going anywhere.

    Whats the benefit of subframe?

    • @nortongarage5411
      @nortongarage5411  Год назад +3

      Looks cool to me mostly but it helps with rigidity. Reinforcement works best with a strut tower bar as well so the top and bottom. Thats my opinion.

    Nobody who's done a video about this has used a drift (tapered punch). You absolutely mus have a nice, long, drift to have any hope of doing this job with reasonable sanity.

    Did u use stock bolt?

    • @ThatDearOne
      @ThatDearOne 4 года назад +3

      yes you re-use the stock bolt. It is an M10x 80mm flange bolt

    • @eyoboyeegaming1187
      @eyoboyeegaming1187 4 года назад +1

      You shouldn’t reuse the stock bolts and instead go with a longer one in order to make sure it seats well.

    • @nortongarage5411
      @nortongarage5411  3 года назад

      thread pitch on the new hardware was different than the weld nut on the sub frame so i would have to remove it. so i just used the stock one for now. will be replacing the rear lower control arms with k-tuned some time in future. ill worry about it then. so far it hasn't loosened up once. i check it every time i crawl under the car.
