@A Mad Parisian But imagine they mentioned Arthur in rdr1, but you don't see him and you know he's dead. And yes, some people like Sadie, Charles, Mary survived and didn't appear in rdr1.
@A Mad Parisian but the fact is, he was chasing Dutch, Bill and Javier, he needed to in order to save his family. The only people he mentioned are the people he killed afterwards or that stayed with him in the long run (Uncle). The most logical reason of why John doesn’t wanna talk about him is grief. He probably felt like he could’ve saved Arthur if he didn’t run away but he decides to run away and now he regret his decision and felt like he could’ve done so much more for Arthur
The voice actor for John is spot on because I don't know if anybody noticed a slight voice cracked when he said about the past is gone it just goes to show you how close John and Arthur were because to be honest John and Arthur were the first two that Dutch and Hosea brought in they were brothers and even in the beginning of the game when Arthur has a aggression towards John it was mostly because Arthur was hurt because of John leaving the gang now we don't know what happened but we know that John eventually came back it just goes to show that towards the end they were able to repair the relationship and it was beautiful
Thing is he does it because he's talking with Arthur's friends or acquaintances but in rd1 we don't see any of his friends the only guys that knew Arthur were guys like Dutch
Well yeah, because he wants them to understand why he is the way he is. He even tells Mary-Beth that "I don't talk about him, but always think about him".
When that happened when I was playing, I always thought John couldn’t help but wish to connect with an old friend about Arthur, to let it be known that Arthur died a good man. And I found it sad but also realistic that everyone else was in a hurry to leave, or to not really talk about it, because they moved on with their life. And the fact that John was the one who brought it up showed us that he didn’t move on like Arthur told him to.
@@AnthonyBlamthony I agree actually, it’s great especially since it parallels with John’s kill line in RDR1 of “I’ll see you again in hell, my friend” I was just going for a funny meme one lol
I think he said it best when talking to Mary-Beth; “Arthur saved my life before he passed. I don’t talk about him, but I think about him all the time.”
John when Jack asks about Arthur: John when literally any random stranger walks up to him: Did you ever hear the tragedy of Arthur Morgan? It's not the kind of story the law would tell you.
Hey felt like it since it’s a prequel why bother getting it but my brother got it so I decided why not and man that was one of the best damn stories I have ever experienced. Arthur is a top tier character much like John.
There’s a mission in the first RDR .. where John and Bonnie are riding into Armadillo.. and Bonnie brings up Abagail .. then mentions how John never talks about her .. John says he doesn’t talk about her but she’s never far from his thoughts… I suspect something similar with Arthur
Technically, you don't *have* to end it that way, you could just . . . not press the button again, when you know the conversation is probably over. Generally, they don't last much more than two or three lines of dialogue, per person, so it's not that hard.
Depressing how if you think about it, Arthur and John were raised as brothers, I can’t imagine how hurt on the inside John must be about his own brother being gone forever.
@@nikolailijovski7022Now I know how dutch feels when he thinks someone just said something stupid. WAIT WHAT?! THEY WERE BAD PEOPLE?! WHO WOULDA THUNKEDED?!! It's not like the two damn games have the word redemption in the title.
Arthur didnt only save John and his family, he sacrificed himself for them. He clearly knew that he wasnt gonna survive back when they were in that mountain.
It’s wild, I remember I wanted this ending so bad at the end of red dead 1. Just an infinite end game living happily with John’s family on the farm. But instead John dies and I just never really loved jack the same way. I found him jarring, even the way he talks to his horse I found less intimate and it made me want John back. Then at the end of red dead 2 my wish finally came true but now all I can do is think about how much I miss Arthur. And the whole dream just kinda feels like a lie. Bittersweet in the truest sense of the word.
I always thought with the herding mechanic in RDR1 and when you went to get cattle you'd actually do some ranching, that mechanic was stressed very early in the game and I thought it would have more of a use. After McFarlane's, you probably use it twice more.
The writers never created Arthur at the time but it’s iconic and it almost seems canon that John doesn’t speak about him. “You GO and don’t LOOK BACK.” “Be a goddamn man, go to your family.” - Arthur
Cody Dugger because even though it wasn’t planned and RDR2 wasn’t a thing back then, in hindsight, it seems like such a John thing to do. John never seemed like the type to pour his heart out to people about his past. Even in the first game, if he talked about the gang, it was always the briefest story possible.
"The past is gone. We left that behind." *awkward silence ... Abigail starts levitating. Jack telepathically makes the woodpile explode as he walks by. John seems to take the blame.*
When I played through the game a second time, I wanted to play through with really low honor. And I just couldn’t do it, man! I couldn’t make Arthur be a bad guy. It’s too hard seeing my precious main character suffer
I literally restarted the game over the weekend for a low honor play through. Im still at first camp and high honor is nearly maxed xD. I cant do it... lol
Unpopular opinion: Micah wasn’t that bad of a guy. He only talked to the agents to save his self, and besides why would he be loyal to a gang of people who do nothing but hate him.
@@redneckhuntingandfishing8219 I mean yeah but he never gave them a reason to like him. God just listen to all the interactions he had with everyone in the camp, he's a straight up asshole who acts like an asshole. He bragged about raping Lenny's girlfriend to Arthur and he killed the camp dog for no reason at all. He literally led Dutch down the road of insanity and putting the rest of the gang in danger.
Mentioning Arthur brings back the time where they were on that mountain, he wanted Arthur to come with him, but Arthur told him to leave him behind to buy him some more time, and John couldn't do anything since Arthur made up his mind... He has that guilt of not being able to save him, despite Arthur doing that for him countless of times.
@@ARC117Studios No matter if he could or couldn't save him, John clearly has a survivor guilt. He had a chance for a second life while Arthur didn't. Arthur gave his life for him. Micah, the actual rat survived longer while Arthur couldn't and to John it’s not fair. It's an irrational guilt but it's there. That and John is just clearly heartbroken that he lost his brother.
John was like Arthur's younger brother. An older brother feels responsible for their siblings and will do everything in their power to save them, whether or not they'll be repaid. Arthur and John's relationship may have been rocky at the start, what with John running off for a year, but you can tell that they're still brothers. And brothers have their ups and downs.
Arthur is the only game character ever that made me feel like I had lost a true life friend, I miss him to this day, and still think back on the time I spent with him, the good decisions I encouraged him to make, and the ultimate sacrifice he made for John and his family
Losing tv/movie/game characters or those medias finishing up, is the same as when we lose a friend in real life. We experience grief which is why it makes you so sad, because your brain computes that as the death of a friend.
@@Barcodez5555 I already played those games. Yes the brain does, but your consciousness should be able to differentiate between reality or you got serious problems.
RDR2 in a Nutshell: Start of the game, play as Arthur Me:"What is this?! I wanna play as John!" End of the game, play as John Me:"What is this?! Gimme back Arthur!!"
I get what they are trying to say, but the fact is, once John starts tracking down his former gang members, he digs up the past and there is zero reason why he wouldn't mention Arthur. I mean, if the games were released the other way round, Arthur would be mentioned multiple times for sure. Especially in John's final showdown with Dutch.
Hopefully if they ever remaster or remake RDR, they can add some Arthur Lore. Mentions his name a few times in dialogue, see familiar characters in the distance, you know, Easter eggs
well RDR2 already fixed this as well, John only talks about Arthur with people who knew him personally (ie the people at train stations and side quest strangers) and the first game he's only really talking about Bill, Javier and Dutch because they are the ones who are still out robbing and killing people and they're the ones he's after
@@thisbubblygoodness7611 Sorry, but that doesnt wash. How would he not mention the guy who saved his life and was a big part of his former gang at least once with Jack, Abigail, Uncle, Ross, Dutch, Bill or Javier? There are so many characters who carry over story wise that him not being mentioned even once makes zero sense. I get they didn't have this story fleshed out when they made RDR1 so couldn't put Arthur into the game, but the story arc just feels really disconnected given how big a role Arthur plays in getting John to where he finds himself at the start of RDR1 and the actions he takes throughout that game.
It’s simple John has survivors guilt and probably PTSD he went through several traumatic events and doesn’t wanna talk about them like veterans don’t like talking about their stuff
Tbh that's kinda the vibe his tone of voice gives off when talking about past events in the first game, pretty solid excuse for it still being a prequel
Survivors Guilt and PTSD. Two things a pitifully tiny pocket of humanity understand. As far as treatment goes for such things from "professionals", Medicine in that regard is little better than that of jackals. People won't get it, man, but I can accept it. In reality, Arthur wasn't so much as a thought by the time of RDR 1. They simply never accounted for it.
@@lamshae6070 as I recall, it was Javier that said he was his brother, expecting to maybe change John's mind about bringing him in. So maybe that was the reason why. Either that, or it's just John's character.
Mojca Malina I think you’re perhaps just looking to hard into both my joke and a game that was made ~10 years after the rest of the story they decided to try and fit in after the fact. Not like they ever thought of Arthur when the first game was made, they tried to give a one off reason he doesnt get mentioned at all but it was just the fact they created him after the first game was made
something i saw in another comment that i liked. Arthur saved John and others countless times. i cant imagine the guilt John must feel that the one time Arthur needed saving, it couldnt be done. Reverend Swanson was right, Arthur was a warrior
I always felt like John harboured some sort of survivors guilt when it came to Arthur. At the end of RDR2, it's clear that John begins to really look up to Arthur and is still trying to live up to his sacrifice in the epilogue. Keep in mind that John is found by Agent Ross entirely because of his revenge mission against Micah; a mission Arthur in his final days would have disagreed with. If I were John in RDR1, I don't think I'd be able to talk about Arthur either. John turning back to his old ways and hunting down his former gang members makes Arthur's sacrifice seem worthless. It doesn't matter if John didn't have a choice. It seemingly invalidates the sacrifice of someone that John believes was better than him. How do you emotionally confront that?
@@terenceneedham9064 Abigail died, probably due at least in part to the strain of being on the run again, and losing the love of her life. Jack ends up a murderer, and probably one that'll end up getting hunted like his father was.

@Kelly 22 That is exactly what I mean. Sure, it most certainly could just be people taking the piss, but this notion that John simply threw away everything Arthur gave him kind of grinds my gears, I'll admit. Everything he does, up until the final act of the game, is not of his own accord. He doesn't give a damn about his old "comrades", something he vocalizes several times throughout the first game. At that point, they are now between himself and his family, and those who dare to separate him from what he cherishes most tend to end up dead. Meme, or not, ignoring the gravity of John's circumstances is just waterbrained as fuck.
When you get 100% completion John goes to Arthur’s grave and says “well, we’re pretty much done friend.” Or something like that. So I think that he’s saying that Arthur’s story is done, that John finished everything Arthur might have started

First time I’ve actually experienced real grief over a fictional character dying. I remember when Arthur died and you continued to play as John I was so irritated. After getting to know Arthur so much it was heartbreaking. Sucks he contracted TB. I started another play through and refuse to progress to the point where Arthur gets sick.
true, but this entire project was the collective work of over 1600 people. that's 1600 human beings that came together to make this. if they are the organized sum, then we, the player, are why their efforts in this experience are perceived as more than just the sum of its parts: a gestalt
Arthur passing might be the only thing John never got over, i mean, he saw Arthur slowly get worse and worse in health and never knew why, and Arthur was the only one of the gang he counted as an actual brother, he probably blamed himself for Arthur's death thinking if he stayed or he could've convinced to cone with him a little further he'd still be alive for awhile until he found out he had TB. Arthur possibly could've lived if they went another way, copperhead landing wasn't too far, or if Arthur instead of returning to camp went to get John's body because at the time he thought he was dead and he'd find John and they'd go there. But Arthur's death helping john was the best one for him. He knew what he did in his final moments were right and was at peace.

@@jjdavidhope yeah he had all that bad humid air in the south, and the drinking and smoking also sped it up along with Dutch working him way too hard and all together drastically reduced his lifespan
I’m replaying this story. The dialogue feels so natural with so much depth it’s insane! I’ve never been so engrossed into a story. It’s just insane how much work put into this game.
John does want to talk about Arthur. Arthur didn't. Arthur wanted to be forgotten because he felt too much guilt on himself for trusting the wrong person his whole life like he just felt so much shame for that. So John just makes his last wish.
It’s more than that. Remember Dutch took Arthur in at an early age and molded him to be an outlaw. That’s all he ever knew by the time we play as him. John had also grew up with hosea and dutch but remember he left for a period of time and got to experience something other than the outlaw life. By the time the Pinkertons were chasing them down, he knew his time was close even if his tuberculosis would never have shown itself. The pinkertons were gunning down the last of the outlaws left in the west. That’s why he tells John to get out of the life, to live for his son jack and Abigail. Because John had something to live for while all Arthur ever lived for, Dutch’s fantasy ideals, we’re all squashed when he saw how quick Dutch cast him aside.
In their last scene Arthur tells him to “not look back”. It was his final wish for John to move on with his life and his past. Interestingly enough John says something similar to Jack right before dying
Android 2990 Version 2.0 i think he was talking about dutch or havier or someone when he said that. Would be good to have the exact line of what you’re referring to though
Max Hoyt the thing I’m saying with the comment is that it’s obvious and there isn’t really any point to saying it. It’s a prequel so there are obviously going to be things that weren’t originally in the story
John: ''That past is gone. We left that behind.'' Also John: Oh yeah, let's kill the last gang members and let's put Sadie's and Charles' life in danger while searching the Legendary Rat
I would want a RDR1 remake more than a RDR3 or GTA6. It would be pretty time consuming, but I'm guessing it wouldn't take too long of a time considering most of the map for RDR1 is completed already. It would mostly be implementing old missions, which is probably easier than making new ones. And also, most importantly, changing the dialogue so Arthur is mentioned.
Arthur doesn't need to be mentioned, it would add literally nothing to the first game. Bill and Javier sided with Dutch and after 12 years, Arthur is long dead and has nothing to do with why they are doing anything. John is doing what he has to because he killed Micah who was working for the Government the whole time, and as seen in the post credits of RDR2, so was Dutch which is why the government wanted him dead for not saving Micah. Everything having to do with Arthur died with Micah. Everything in RDR1 had to do with why Dutch abandoned John after Chapter 4 in RDR2 and the Saint Denis bank robbery. That's what John means when he said Dutch left him for dead. After Saint Denis, everything John did for "Dutch's gang" he did to make sure he and Arthur could get out of the gang before Dutch destroyed it but they were too late.
I agree with you, I'd really love for a remake of the first one. I wish they make Red Dead Redemption 3, though, and we get to see how Dutch met Hosea and how they recruited Arthur, John, and the rest of the gang, all leading up to the blackwater massacre--the game's climax.
@@JohnReedy07163 I disagree that Arthur doesn't need to be mentioned at all. John left the gang and Dutch behind with Arthurs help that night and him chasing them down again would undoubtedly stir up old feelings about what happened. John not throwing what Dutch did to Arthur in his face is just strange. A conversation where John talks about what a piece of shit Dutch is for leaving him for dead having zero mention whatsoever of Arthur makes no sense. "You left me to die. The only reason I'm alive right now is because of Arthur.", or "Me and Arthur trusted you and Arthur lost his life because of it.", or whatever else dialogue. If they remake the game and that doesn't get mentioned, people are going to be very confused. That's the biggest reason people want a remake. So that Arthur and the other members of the gang can be added into the story to make it more connected to the original. I agree that it doesn't "need" to mention Arthur, but I honestly wouldn't buy it if it didn't. The older graphics don't bother me. And I mean, what other reason is there to remake Red Dead over any of their other games? Why not GTA 3, or Vice City, or GTA San Andreas, or Bully instead? Red Dead isn't going to do the numbers that GTA does no matter what. The biggest draw they have is that everyone fell in love with Arthur and want to see him mentioned in a remake. But if they don't do that I'm not sure how many people would really rather have a RDR1 Remake over a GTA San Andreas remake.
It's a smart way of trying to paint over the cracks of why Arthur wasn't mentioned in RDR 1 but it's made irrelevant when John is forced back into the life to hunt down his former gang...surely Arthur would be brought up more....obviously it's because Rockstar had no intention to make a sequel or a prequel and Arthur did not exist but going forward this is why i'll pretend he wasn't mentioned. That's the problem with doing prequels, the sequels end up feeling incomplete and bare bones when compared..
You're right but this attempt by Rockstar is passable. John hardly sees or converses with Bill or Javier in RDR1 and one could assume that Dutch finds it even harder than John to speak of Arthur. Knowing that choosing not to side with Arthur was wrong in so many ways and knowing the suffering Arthur would have had to endure in his final moments was as much his fault as it was Micah's, he may have been too ashamed of what he had done to bring up the subject of Arthur with John.
John doesn't talk about Arthur like you don't talk about a lost sibling, you keep them with you always, but if you talk about them, no matter how happy you try to feel, in the end you only end up remembering how lonely you feel without them at your side.
Everyone before RDR2 launch: Hates Arthur because he isn't John Everyone after: Hates John because he's not Arthur. In all seriousness though on my latest playthrough I haven't progressed the story past saving Sean. The gang is at it's peak, everyone's alive and happy!
after i finish this playthrough (my 4th) im going to stay at chapter 2 for all eternity, so that i can always think back on rdr2 and realize that i never left chapter 2 so i dont have to live with depression
@@njgaming3322 even so, this line and reason was not planned. It was just their way of explain him away. Also, development was started on rdr2 well after the whole plot of rdr1 was finished, they were probably just working on coding issues and graphics at that point in the first game’s development cycle.
If you choose to 100% the game after finishing the epilogue, it's like John is sorting through Arthur's unfinished business, everything John does after the epilogue is for Arthur.
It makes sense as the years go by to not speak of trauma like that. You deal with it, and in the struggle of daily life, those memories become quiet personal moments of reflection. They aren't really for discussion because they're so personal.
I think John don’t like to talk about Arthur because he was a part of his past cuz Arthur and John grow’d together and lived that bad life together and you even see that John knows he was a ran’d by fool and he lost his half life stockinged with Dutch were there wasn’t anything good behind that life and maybe because of Arthur’s advice.. “Go and don’t look back” And I know that Arthur’s idea wasn’t exist at the first game but this is a little Theory about RDR story
Yeah that part was interesting. It's like John is lowkey ashamed that it took Arthur dying and Dutch and the whole gang trying to kill him for him to finally do what was right for his family. That's why he's so determined to do the right thing in RDR, cause he knows he's already failed them and himself.
I think John doesn’t mention Arthur because he failed him. Arthur tells him not dwell on the past too ok keep moving forward, to get a new life for himself and make something of himself. John doesn’t do that he goes and he kills Micha he goes and he kills his old crew that’s why he doesn’t mention Arthur because he knows he didn’t take Arthur’s advice and he suffered for it, he dies for it.
I sense a little passive aggressive behaviour from Jack lol "I'm grateful sir" proceeds to spilling all the fireplace tools everywhere and just walks off the smug prick
Why? It was a time of respect. Not that John would do this, but most fathers at the time would punt their son across the room like a football for disrespecting him or his mom. I also think it’s just Jacks character. He’s a real good kid
It definitely feels weird because John was so not invested in his early life and then completely demands respect once they move into the house. It feels like Jack is being bullied into respecting his father when he didn't fully earn it
I feel towards the end John really tries to gather jack but jack Wong let him bc John disowned him. But Idk why John stayed with Abigail all she did was complain complain complain. She actually complained when we saved jack and ourselves from thieves
That’s not enough for me, especially how arthur literally gave his life for John’s family. I wish they made a better excuse of not talking about him. Well he said that don’t look back but he didn’t do it. He chased after Micah. One of the main reasons why Ross found him.
I really hated Abigail's attitude towards Arthur. In the epilogue, it was like only 6-8 since his death, but she didn't give a flying fuck it seemed. People don't forget someone who did so much for them so easily.
@@abhisheksavant4307 6-8 YEARS... that's kind of a long time.

I mean, if the games were released the other way round, Arthur would be mentioned multiple times for sure. Especially in John's final showdown with Dutch.
Not only Arthur tho, they would definitely mention all the other members as well. All the more reason for why Rockstar should remake Rdr1.

How would he not mention the guy who saved his life and was a big part of his former gang at least once with Jack, Abigail, Uncle, Ross, Dutch, Bill or Javier? I get they didn't have this story fleshed out when they made RDR1 so couldn't put Arthur into the game, but the story arc just feels really disconnected given how big a role Arthur plays in getting John to where he finds himself at the start of RDR1 and the actions he takes throughout that game.

@@ignaciofacundo5954 yea bit in the end Dutch dies like the coward he really is.
*Boah*
In their last scene Arthur tells him to “not look back”. It was his final wish for John to move on with his life and his past. Interestingly enough John says something similar to Jack right before dying
Dutch voice: Because it wasn’t plannedddddd
That's so Dutch that I can even hear to voice crack at the end

mo beastie yeah because there was an 8 year gap between the two games so I highly doubted they created arthur then.
Max Hoyt the thing I’m saying with the comment is that it’s obvious and there isn’t really any point to saying it. It’s a prequel so there are obviously going to be things that weren’t originally in the story

Arthur isn't mentioned in RD1 because the character wasn't thought of yet.....🙄
Because it's hurts too damn much...
John: ''That past is gone. We left that behind.''
Also John:
Oh yeah, let's kill the last gang members and let's put Sadie's and Charles' life in danger while searching the Legendary Rat
Perhaps the dialogue only shows up after that
Didnt sadie drag him to the confrontation with micah?
I went to google legendary rat and while i was typing it hit me. 🤣
Obtained Michah pelt ×1
He just wanted to get the full Compendium
I also think about what John says when he runs into Mary-Beth:
“I don’t talk about him a lot. But I think about him a lot”
All they need to really add for the open world is mexico
@@Ghaffar_KH I said remake?
Actually they planned this game pretty soon after the first and the intentionally left John's backstory ambiguous with very little detail on purpose
To be fair, RDR2 is one of the best prequels I know in terms of continuity
Hopefully they do a definitive edition like Mafia II.
John isnt a member berry lots of sane people would have no reason to mention arthur at that point
John doesn't talk about Arthur like you don't talk about a lost sibling, you keep them with you always, but if you talk about them, no matter how happy you try to feel, in the end you only end up remembering how lonely you feel without them at your side.
Like how Arthur never talks about his son
John: I don’t like talking about Arthur
John every ten minutes in the epilogue: aRtHuR sAvEd mY LiFe
sorry but, he only said it twice in the story
Dio? I thought you were in the coffin at this point, still trying to sew on your stepbrother's body to yourself using kelp or something?
GangrenousGandalf Yeah but I’m watching Red Dead Redemption videos while I do that. It gets very boring down here.
Diego Brando lol
"arthur saved us didn't he.."
"okay well, better get to it then"
"bye, john"
Everyone before RDR2 launch: Hates Arthur because he isn't John
Everyone after: Hates John because he's not Arthur.
I said not to look back. Focus on your family
It’s still crazy to me that rockstar started developing RDR2 right after RDR1 came out
IKR
The real reason is that Rockstar hadn’t created him yet. Just sayin.
Innit though
Actually they did, they started on rdr2 right after rdr1 so I’m guess they had him planned, that’s why everything ties in so well
@@njgaming3322 even so, this line and reason was not planned. It was just their way of explain him away. Also, development was started on rdr2 well after the whole plot of rdr1 was finished, they were probably just working on coding issues and graphics at that point in the first game’s development cycle.
@@njgaming3322 he wasn't planned when rdr1 was written and developed.
If you choose to 100% the game after finishing the epilogue, it's like John is sorting through Arthur's unfinished business, everything John does after the epilogue is for Arthur.
I told you N O T T O T O U C H I T

It makes sense as the years go by to not speak of trauma like that. You deal with it, and in the struggle of daily life, those memories become quiet personal moments of reflection. They aren't really for discussion because they're so personal.
I think John don’t like to talk about Arthur because he was a part of his past cuz Arthur and John grow’d together and lived that bad life together and you even see that John knows he was a ran’d by fool and he lost his half life stockinged with Dutch were there wasn’t anything good behind that life and maybe because of Arthur’s advice..
“Go and don’t look back”
And I know that Arthur’s idea wasn’t exist at the first game but this is a little Theory about RDR story
"I save us a little too you know"
🤣🤣
Yeah that part was interesting. It's like John is lowkey ashamed that it took Arthur dying and Dutch and the whole gang trying to kill him for him to finally do what was right for his family. That's why he's so determined to do the right thing in RDR, cause he knows he's already failed them and himself.
John has pain in his voice
I think John doesn’t mention Arthur because he failed him. Arthur tells him not dwell on the past too ok keep moving forward, to get a new life for himself and make something of himself. John doesn’t do that he goes and he kills Micha he goes and he kills his old crew that’s why he doesn’t mention Arthur because he knows he didn’t take Arthur’s advice and he suffered for it, he dies for it.
One of the best theories i read so far!
I finished the game and I'm feeling emotions I can't even describe. Songs from the credits were so meaningful to put an end to this story.
Its 2020, almost 2021 and I'm still *LOOOKING FOR GAVIN* 😳
GAVINNNN!!!!!
I sense a little passive aggressive behaviour from Jack lol "I'm grateful sir" proceeds to spilling all the fireplace tools everywhere and just walks off the smug prick
Andrew Provost what’s funny is I didn’t even notice this when I recorded the video but now I can’t help but to laugh
John: “we left that behind”
5 min later:
Robs every store in saint dennis and gets a bounty of $1,500
I keep cringing everytime Jack calls John “sir”
THANK YOU SAME
It feels like Jack is being bullied into respecting his father when he didn't fully earn it
John said he didn't like to talk about him, but he thinks of him often.
There is such an awkward relationship in this family. They kinda just stay together because they have to.
Especially when you consider that Sadie got over her much-beloved husband in the span of a year--not completely, seeing as she never remarried, but she moved past his death after getting her revenge. Abigail is kind of a practical person so after maybe 1-2 years she put what happened past her and moved on.
Funny part is if john never met sadie after arthur’s death he would probably never even kill/find micah
