Actually, Jack brings the Marston family legacy to great heights. In GTA V, you can see a book on the shelf in Franklin’s new house titled “The American Dream” by Jack Marston. Jack wrote about Arthur and John’s lives and explained their bravery throughout the years. A perfect ending to the Red Dead Redemption Series.

@@ambivalentaxe No Micah betrayed the gang that lead to the Pinkertons going after the gang in the first place. The Robbery only failed because of Micah.
There's a reason why John and Arthur are the most loveable characters in the Red Dead Redemption franchise, because they just want to do good in a world run by bad people. I hope we see a 3rd game about the rise of the Van Der Linde Gang.
Fun fact: The Pinkertons were a REAL private security company and, I believe, was accurately portrayed in RDR2. Rockstar clearly got inspiration from U.S. history with Cornelius Vanderbilt, and how they incorporated the history of that agency to their advantage was impressive. Funny enough, the Pinkerton Detective Agency still exists today (albeit under a different name and on a much more limited scale since the rise of the FBI).
Red Dead Redemption 2 is the best open world game that I have ever played to date. The story, the attention to detail, everything. RdR2 is an absolute masterpiece.

Would then be so cool to see this continue into rdr 3 where we follow Jack as he fights in WW1 and grows into a main role in the 20’s mafia scene. He could reunite with Sadie and see early cars and Tommy guns etc, but in the end, he falls back to classic Wild West behaviour to win or die.
I guess Franklin would keep antiques in his house. That book is 99 years old. Actually no because that book was made a couple years after 1899 and gta v takes place in 2013.
You forgot. Jack Marston writes a book about his funny deep voiced uncle and his dads law escapades in a book called red dead in Los Santos where he retired in 1970. His book was a top seller in the gta universe and is on the shelves in gta 5
I doubt they’ll do Jack Marston since that’s basically the end of the Wild West but I feel like they’re either going to start a new arc or continue on with the Van Der Linde gang by going back further and having Dutch as the protagonist recruiting all the gang members.
A Sadie/Charles team up type thing would be awesome. It wouldn't necessarily have to be years later, more like months later after they parted ways with John and before RDR.
I kinda doubt it. That would mean that the plague already happened in the first one but it was unseen thing in the first undead nightmare. But if they make new undead nightmare I hope its not as buggy and would have some sick Tank from left4dead or demolisher from dying light type of zombies.
You forgot the most important part. Jack Marston presumably tells the stories of his family and his life to someone who then writes a book about it. The title of the book is Red Dead Redemption and it can be found as an Easter egg in GTA 5 Franklin's apartment on a bookshelf.
Red Dead Redemption 3: A hardened Jack fresh off a return ship after surviving the trenches of WWI finds himself caught in the rise of the original American Gangsters profiting off the illegal alcohol market in Chicago.
Crazando anonymous Jack would be a bit old for WW2. He was born in 1895, which would have made him in his late 40s in WW2. Too old for anyone but a higher ranking officer.

@@clorobec2625 Says who? Just curious. I was assuming the opposite, i mean, if ur right and the cannon story is that Arthur is part of the reason John survived and got out long enough to get that farm for his family, ud think John would have mentioned him at least once in RDR1 but he never does, so the ending where Arthur leaves John n goes for the money kinda makes more sense in the whole story does it not?

Too long. Who the hell will the voice actors be? It should be about either before Blackwater, after the fall of the gang. I really wouldn't mind a game about the native americans in the mid-late 19th century. Watching your tribe be betrayed and massacred by the Americans, losing hope year by year, day by day. Your way of life being forced out of existence, your culture being attacked and what else? you decide. Performing ambushes to the army would be magnificent.. Just Crystal Only Crystal Yes but it’s much more meaningful and it’s how Arthur would’ve wanted to go out. High honor Arthur is the best Arthur, the actual Arthur. All endings are very sad but this one is definitely his true ending, how Rockstar wants us to see Arthur go out.
m_odrosky4 he kinda didn’t dude the way he wanted to. Just a little. 2/3rds of his death were complete. He wanted to die watching the sunrise facing west, but he was actually facing east and barely had the chance to even take 5 seconds to even remember one good moment. But yeah his death was pretty peaceful, I got shot in the head and I wasn’t even sad, or depressed. I was literally pissed off lol. Like “what? This is how it goes? This is how he dies?! By a piece of shit?! Wtf rockstar, you could’ve done better than this!” Then i realised it was because of my honour lol

VorteX X nope. Jack is the end of the rdr timeline since it’s the end of the west. The series has to work backwards. When most the stories are told, Jack shooting Edgar ross will be thought of as the end of the west.
This redemption saga. I can honestly say no one loves it like I do. It’s all like warm blanket. No matter what mood I’m in it makes me feel better. I connect more with this game than every film and TV show. Personally that is. Thankyou rockstar for the redemption story. Truly the best fictional story in any source of entertainment
Maybe this was intended, rockstar maybe implemented these small things (like Arthur’s coat) into the prequel to act as an analogy. Jack grew up around the gang and took an example of every single one of them: Arthur’s fashion sense, Dutch’s Wisdom, Hosea’s love of literature, John & Arthur’s shooting skill etc. Just a theory.
“Revenge is a fool’s game”, Jack already doomed himself by doing the exact opposite of what he should’ve done. Arthur was wise, and Jack is just like his father; a stubborn man. There’s no happy ending in a horror story.
Best part is the speculative stories. Let's say you left a few missions behind it shows Jack up to be masterful in manipulating others. Add to the fact that if you consider rdr and gta in the same universe, he goes on to become a writer, putting his scholarly skills to work. So it's presumed Jack went on to have a more peaceful life after getting his revenge. So likely case is he just killed Edgar Ross, it got marked as a cold case or a hunting accident. Then went on to gain some money and publishing the stories of his dad and Arthur

YoursTruly :3 John’s hat and Arthur’s coat 🧥
@@xllrrz_7890 And Dutch's facial hair
Maybe this was intended, rockstar maybe implemented these small things (like Arthur’s coat) into the prequel to act as an analogy. Jack grew up around the gang and took an example of every single one of them: Arthur’s fashion sense, Dutch’s Wisdom, Hosea’s love of literature, John & Arthur’s shooting skill etc.
Just a theory.

I want a jack red dead redemption but I want a happy ending for him, no death a happy ending finally for the Marston family and a tribute to Arthur.
No happy endings for an outlaw. Jack threw himself in that life when he killed Ross
And full free roam after endgame
“Revenge is a fool’s game”, Jack already doomed himself by doing the exact opposite of what he should’ve done. Arthur was wise, and Jack is just like his father; a stubborn man. There’s no happy ending in a horror story.
I wanna play as a gun-slinging Jack in the Prohibition era
I think jack became a writer bc in gta5 there is a book in franklin's house named "red dead" by JM (which is jack marston)
