Bye Bye - Jo Dee Messina (cover / play along)

Back to my 90s country roots! This is my amped up version of Jo Dee Messina's killer version of "Bye Bye," written by Rory Bourke and Phil Vassar. This cut is off of her 1996 album "I'm Alright". It was Jo Dee's first #1 single. Just a great guitar riff to start. I tuned my guitar down one half step for this video. My version has a bit of single string picking and double stops during the main riff, palm muting during the verses and a couple of 6th and 5th string harmonic pings at 2:24 (at the bridge).
