Hmm, I didn't think to double check the source. After a moderate google image search, all I found was the image being posted to forums (which is where I found the pixiv link,) and image dumps sourcing forum posts. I also learned the images on pixiv are private and won't show up in google searches. If the true source is in Japanese (or any other language,) I don't think I will be able to confirm the original source. Thanks for checking my work. I will be more diligent in the future.

quite sad how a japanese game series that has awesome game soundtrack and *lots of waifus* only be popular in japan and southeast asia but it's amazing to think about how its fangames like this is a way to popularize the series to the west. well, embodiment of scarlet devil is still somewhat known in the west, but the other, more recent games are pretty much unheard of there
I would think with games like Cuphead and Meat Boy being popular, bullet hell would have a bigger audience. But I think most of the west still gets shy over anything that is covered in cute girls.

I kinda wished there were more games like this I know a few games that use time stop as well but they are fuckin boring due to them being slow paced If you are going to make a game about time control, then make your game fast paced so that stopping time actually makes you feel cool
always cool to see how other people approach bosses in these kinds of games, I barely used the chainsaw at all, and normally just spammed stun knifes in the stopped time, think I used knife shield once on accident in a fight, barely ever used the slowdown mechanic bar I think it was the Remi fight where I used it to dodge an attack or two. thousand daggers felt unreliable to me as i never really pinned down the invincibility on it, and I didn't like being locked into place so I used it sparingly. I used the sword to clear out mines on nitori fight, but really just stuck to stun knife through most of it, and picked my moments. loved the game, only real complaint I had, minor as it may be, was there was no unique line of dialogue if you never purchased anything from the shop, it still implies that you spent a little there, also one of the weirdest fights in that I had a harder time fighting the weaker version since there was less stuff to safely graze. I do need to go back sometime here and finish off the dlc, had to stop due to the whole dash mechanic thing, and never got back to it after they fixed it.

@@zzzmeta4555 it's possible its been added in since, but I know that at least when I played it there was no line for buying absolutely nothing, there was a line for only buying a tiny amount, and for buying a lot. First thing I actually did after beating the game the first time only having bought a handful of things and getting the low amount text was start a new run spending nothing at all to see if there was a different text and there wasn't it was the same line as low amount which still implies you bought somethings, mind you this was before dlc, and fairly close to launch.
I am not completely sure, *but*. I don't think this is what the person she's against would be seeing, since in Touhou 6, when she stops time, the player is still able to see, and i don't think it's purely a game design thing, since i am pretty sure in later games, there are actual spellcards that just pop some bullets in front of you. Which brings up a whole new amount of questions like, how does one's pupils still receive light, and the photons also still travel when time is stopped, but water particles do not? Yeah, time stopping is weird. I mean, this is still an alternate world with different rules from the normal Gensokyo, so i guess it really doesn't have to make sense.
And here I thought the "outside DIO's world" jokes were already good. This one ain't entirely accurate, but it's really good nonetheless. Thank you for your hard work, kind sir.

always cool to see how other people approach bosses in these kinds of games, I barely used the chainsaw at all, and normally just spammed stun knifes in the stopped time, think I used knife shield once on accident in a fight, barely ever used the slowdown mechanic bar I think it was the Remi fight where I used it to dodge an attack or two. thousand daggers felt unreliable to me as i never really pinned down the invincibility on it, and I didn't like being locked into place so I used it sparingly. I used the sword to clear out mines on nitori fight, but really just stuck to stun knife through most of it, and picked my moments. loved the game, only real complaint I had, minor as it may be, was there was no unique line of dialogue if you never purchased anything from the shop, it still implies that you spent a little there, also one of the weirdest fights in that I had a harder time fighting the weaker version since there was less stuff to safely graze. I do need to go back sometime here and finish off the dlc, had to stop due to the whole dash mechanic thing, and never got back to it after they fixed it.

@@zzzmeta4555 it's possible its been added in since, but I know that at least when I played it there was no line for buying absolutely nothing, there was a line for only buying a tiny amount, and for buying a lot. First thing I actually did after beating the game the first time only having bought a handful of things and getting the low amount text was start a new run spending nothing at all to see if there was a different text and there wasn't it was the same line as low amount which still implies you bought somethings, mind you this was before dlc, and fairly close to launch.

I don't think this is what the person she's against would be seeing, since in Touhou 6, when she stops time, the player is still able to see, and i don't think it's purely a game design thing, since i am pretty sure in later games, there are actual spellcards that just pop some bullets in front of you.
Which brings up a whole new amount of questions like, how does one's pupils still receive light, and the photons also still travel when time is stopped, but water particles do not?

It actually is a game design thing. Marisa confirmed in GoM that she has no idea what happens when Sakuya stops time.
