You can get clock upgrades from the shop and there are clock upgrades scattered around the map. The reason he's at such a high level is because you usually get enough xp to level up each time you complete a boss rush

@@awakenedsoul2638 I haven't tried that so I'm not sure. I've been playing the boss rush since I beat the game and I'm at level 88 now with about 16 hours of playtime. It usually takes me about 3-4 mins to complete a boss rush (although I was slower at first due to less damage and practice.) I normally level up after 1-2 boss rushes. Sorry I couldn't give you a more straightforward answer but I hope this helps.
@@flamewizard9022 OKAY BUB! YOU TRY IT MY WAY AND I DO IT YOUR WAY! I never thought that Boss rush will earn you experience points. I am doing this way because I want to reach level 99 to complete boss rush in less than 6 minutes!
@@awakenedsoul2638 Ok, so I tried it your way but it's a lot slower. it took me about half an hour to get from level 89 to 90 (I got to level 88 quickly but I had left over xp from the boss rush). It took me about 2 mins to beat the boss and skip the cutscene and credits each time and I only got 300 xp after each attempt. I went back to the boss rush and got from level 90 to 92 in about 15-20 mins. The boss rush is a lot faster since you get 1450 xp after each attempt, so I was getting about 1450 xp every 3-4mins instead of 300 every 2 mins. Hope this helps.
