In this video I show what 420% HP over a minute looks like and just how easy it is to do. I could've easily had another 22.5% if my ArFA-sys had HP Recovery Shot 3 instead of 2 for a total of 442%. Without my ArFA-sys it would've been 352.5% due to the accessories I had available. I feel so stupid rn. I have 400+ hours in this game and just realized that something was of about my damage. well turns out I seem to never have used much elemental weapons/infusions, maybe a buff here and there. Found this vid over your reddit post. I thank you very much for that one.

If you have to buff to do such insane damage then the game's leveling isn't exactly built for being an rpg. Its a skill and patience game more than rpg.

How did you leveled up that high? How did you get that much eternal clock time?
You can get clock upgrades from the shop and there are clock upgrades scattered around the map. The reason he's at such a high level is because you usually get enough xp to level up each time you complete a boss rush
@@flamewizard9022 Really bub? Is it a faster way than just going back and fort at the last corridor before you fight the very last boss? I am at Level 81 now coming from level 41.
@@awakenedsoul2638 I haven't tried that so I'm not sure. I've been playing the boss rush since I beat the game and I'm at level 88 now with about 16 hours of playtime. It usually takes me about 3-4 mins to complete a boss rush (although I was slower at first due to less damage and practice.) I normally level up after 1-2 boss rushes. Sorry I couldn't give you a more straightforward answer but I hope this helps.
@@flamewizard9022 OKAY BUB! YOU TRY IT MY WAY AND I DO IT YOUR WAY! I never thought that Boss rush will earn you experience points. I am doing this way because I want to reach level 99 to complete boss rush in less than 6 minutes!
@@awakenedsoul2638 Ok, so I tried it your way but it's a lot slower. it took me about half an hour to get from level 89 to 90 (I got to level 88 quickly but I had left over xp from the boss rush). It took me about 2 mins to beat the boss and skip the cutscene and credits each time and I only got 300 xp after each attempt. I went back to the boss rush and got from level 90 to 92 in about 15-20 mins. The boss rush is a lot faster since you get 1450 xp after each attempt, so I was getting about 1450 xp every 3-4mins instead of 300 every 2 mins. Hope this helps.

Those are some very weird game balancing decisions. lol A buff should always increase damage, no matter what. Even if it's a miniscule amount, but reducing the damage is just stupid.
Not really. The thing to understand is if you get into formulas post testing, is that if you pop a cartidge or apply an elemental buff etc, your whole weapon becomes elemental. So elemental damage is NOT additional damage as you would want it based on your game design philosophy but as I said all weapon becomes elemental. That simply means since that mob has huge elemental resistances you screwed yourself over by decreasing the overall damage by making the weapon elemental. If elemental was a bonus the resistances would apply only on that bonus so your flat would stay same. Let me explain if you interested is very basic: Let's say you do y damage, and have 40% ice buff and enemy has 80% ice res. Elemental resistances work additively y * (1 + 0.4 - 0.8)=0.6y <y Even if they worked multipliticatevely y * (1+0.4)*(1-0.8)=0.28y <y You would get less than actual damage. What you think is this (0.4y is the bonus damage and you apply the resistance multiplicatevly on the bonus damage only): y + 0.4y*(1-0.8)=y + 0.08y >y always That's not how it works though since your whole weapon becomes elemental

The only weapon I have problems like this is the damn iceblood, everything else is fine, I swear the ice blood is like hitting enemies with a wet napkin
Don't use this method, it is outdated ever since the Tower of Trails in 1.20, just do the first tower (every round at max level, using proper resistances) if you want to rush it to farm marks REALLY quickly (no co-op required). If you do both bosses at any tower it guarantees a few, but the first tower is fool proof. But yeah it probably was useful in the earlier version, so good job pointing it out.

interesting the thing that struck me as odd was all the hits that resulted in no damage at all but I have been wondering how elemental damage works, all I know is you get a 20% boost in damage based on your total damage as that element.Also I have been wondering how the 20 or so elemental damage on things like transformed or boss weapons translates into the elemental damage.Though concerning that enemy he may be weak to blood given he used lightning weapon and I think blood is strong vs lightning, what I know so far is fire is strong and weak against ice and ice is also strong vs sand so blood and lightning must be weak to each other.
Worst way I killed this man 20 times no mark. He finally got one mark and made a clip ask show many times he killed for that one mark

You only get a mark the first time you kill him(if i rember correctly)

the elemental buffs turn your weapon damage into that type so if its ineffective means that the enemy is resistant against that element type. Of course, the final boss would be resistant to all types. Instead use Adrenaline, Overdrive, and Bridge to Glory these increase your damage without giving your weapon an elemental type.
