I really like how the animation emphasized the power gap without being one-sided. Dio is crafty and strong, so of course he’ll get the drop on Sakuya a couple of times, but Sakuya just shrugs it off and interrupts his monologues because she just wants to get the job done and go home.
To Dio, this is the most important fight of his life. He has foolishly challenged a being with the powers of a god and been found wanting. Only constant interference from Dio Over Heaven allows him to continue.
To Sakuya, however, this is just another day taking out the trash as the Scarlet Devil Mansion’s vampire-hunting maid. Excellent work!

as a sakuya fan, sakuya can not only manipulate time, she can also manipulate space which is why her home, the sdm, is so large, and is how she can clean it so easily. giving her an advantage in combat

@@AlexOshino manipulating space would mean Sakuya can make the rooms smaller than what they normally are kinda like cleaning a small bathroom compared to cleaning an entire mess hall. By shrinking down the rooms with her space manipulation cleaning becomes easier

dio can't "donut" her because sakuya has tanked mountain level attacks, which are feats that dio never achieved and sakuya can see dio's stand because its a manifestation of his soul and sakuya can see and harm spiritual beings

Stands are also called spiritual energy, they are officially an extension of the stand user's soul (at least most of them).
In JoJo, the supernatural is barely present outside from stand related things (no wonder pillar men and vampires aren't present from part 4 onwards), so it's logical to assume that the "only stands can" is a general guideline, not a in-universe law.

1: I really enjoyed the video
2: as someone who loves the concept of time powers, DIO was my favorite JoJo character by far and I figured that he would be able to beat Sakuya no problem. Then I found out that Sakuya can screw with time WAY more than DIO and that it wouldn't even be a fair fight since Sakuya's time stop is endless and she can mess with time by slowing it down, speeding it up, stopping it, and can even "make the past and future exist simultaneously." On top of that, Sakuya can also mess with space to a degree, which is why the scarlet devil mansion is so much bigger on the inside than it appears to be from the outside. And since DIO's time stop at the time of his death only lasts 9 seconds, even with all his vampire powers I can't see DIO winning.

Damn, this is really well done.
Cirno is Bakaversal and easily stomps all of fiction. Her Perfect Freeze can transform everything into ice regardless of resistances, immunities, etc. The 9 Force lets her project a Intelligence Decreasing Aura that brings someones IQ down to 9, also bypasses resistances, immunities, etc. Her Durability and Attack Potency is Bakaversal. Her speed is Bakapresent.
This is just soo much better than 1 minute melee it's insane. Every character is represented perfectly and each one gets to show off their abilities and what they're capable off. Sakuya freezes a knife in mid air to stop her momentum , dio still tries to attack her after he was defeated , etc... granted dio still lost , and the road roller is always a dead giveaway he's going to lose , but I still enjoyed the animation. There were some inconsistencies sometimes , like sakuya not being able to move in dios time stop sometimes while in other times she can, (unless I'm missing something) , the fact that she can't see or touch the world but still blocks his attacks and dodges them and I've personally never found dio sucking Joseph's blood to heal and reach his final form as fair. But this still deserves praise , and the amount of passion put into it is clear.
This animation is a solid 9.5/10 , bcs I'm still salty dio lost a second time.

DIO Ascended is involved. Something I wasn't expecting. That last line... "That hag has already made her move..." Assuming this is Ascended DIO talking, it seems like he's talking about Yukari... Anyways, amazing animation. I just pray that when more people see this, it won't be the same with the One Minute Battle where people are extremely salty DIO lost. I'm glad you know so well of both franchises involved so that what happens is accurate as possible. See ya on the next one

Holy shit it is the best animation i ever seen in a while
So I saw a comment chain that was extremely long and hard to process (we talk Sonic 06 levels of long) but I wanted to throw my two cents into the mix. Mostly focusing on Sakuya because I have more knowledge on Touhou than on Jojo... that rhyme was completely unintentional. (How the hell am I doing that?)
First things first, Sakuya's powers and Gensokyo. In Gensokyo there are hundreds of powerful youkai, some could be seen as humans with youkai-like powers they aren't unless ZUN states otherwise. Sakuya is stated to be a human that can *control/manipulate* time and space *completely.* Example A is the Scarlet Devil Mansion, its interior is far bigger than the outside shows thanks to Sakuya's powers. With the mansion an unknown times bigger than a normal mansion it becomes tricky to navigate the long corridors caused by the head maid.
Example B is the various foods and drinks made as well as cleaning the mansion as well as what her powers do. When she makes the food the residents of the mansion eat it's done a lot quicker than normal, from the simple foods anyone could make to the fancy and lavish food that would take minutes or hours to make Sakuya always seem to have them done in seconds/minutes. Same for the tea she makes, I don't know how long it would take to boil tea leaves or any tea related items but Sakuya seems to have it done in seconds without anyone noticing, and when she cleans the mansion she might use her powers too, we don't actually know if that's true but considering everything else in the mansion is done in mere seconds/minutes I wouldn't be surprised, so considering all of those peices of info and the fact that time manipulation implies *all* sections of time. Past, present, future, alternate timelines as well as speeding up and slowing down time Sakuya would have complete control over what happens when she uses her powers, what you see isn't exactly what you get for all you know see just did a single set of commands but in reality she most likely used the past and future with the present to unleash her attacks as well as reverse what you've done and speed up what she's unleashed or use them to speed up her process of cooking and cleaning.
Sakuya is a *true anomaly,* we know very little about her but there's a high chance she might know about us in some capacity. Dio however regardless of how you slice it is fucked regardless of what happens or what he does or what form he's in. I know very little about Jojo and the series as a whole but I do know this, messing with Gensokyo is a death sentence. Yukari may not do her job well same goes for Reimu, but when a youkai *SAGE* shows up you better hope she's in the mood to mess with you and not kill you on the spot. Yukari created the entirety of Gensokyo, from the Great Hakurei Barrier to the various rules that have been enforced over the years Yukari is *extremely* powerful so even if Sakuya was defeated somehow she could use her powers to flee and warn the rest of Gensokyo resulting in Yukari not holding back. You're essentially in Yukari's apartment and causing a ruckus for the inhabitants of Gensokyo, I don't think I'd want to lose my limbs to Yukari or any of the stronger youkai in Gensokyo. Still Jojo characters rely on whatever bullshit the creators throw on them while Touhou characters have mysterious powers and backstories we don't 100% know.
I know I sound like a hater but I'm not I just haven't watched the show, read any of the manga or played any of the games. I'm just supplying what info I know about Sakuya and Touhou if you wish to give my some insight on Dio please do it in a *neat* and *orderly* fashion. I don't want to stain my brain trying to figure out what's being said.
Other than that, I'll see all of you elsewhere on RUclips and the internet as a whole.
I just wanna say (I haven't watched Touhou but I'm going to be watching it soon) the part where you said "Dio is fucked regardless of what form he's in" isn't completely true. Heaven Dio has the power to rewrite reality, so unless Sakuya can do something to prevent that (like in eyes of heaven when Jotaro destroyed Dio's hands to prevent him from using his reality overwrite) then she would probably lose. now I know you're gonna say that she could just fuck up his hands and then kill him but he can stop time for an indefinite amount of time. I don't think Sakuya could do that (I might be wrong so correct me if I am) so really all he would have to do is stop time, walk up to her, and either take away her abilities or just rewrite her existence. regardless, I do believe that Sakuya might put up a good fight, until he either stops time or gets within reaching distance where he could just insta kill her.
@@biggamer4280 First thing to get out of the way is Touhou is a series of bullethell, shoot-em-ups with a few spinoffs that are either similar to the main games or fighting games much like any other fighter out there. There are also several print works which are connected to the main games. If you are referring to the *fanmade* adaptation of the games then go ahead I guess, it still won't paint a clear picture of the characters compared to the officials.
One of the reported abilities Sakuya has is the ability *erase time,* meaning if she really wanted to kill someone to the point where they don't exist anymore all she'd have to do is erase the *present version then the future version* of someone making her *very* deadly. Sakuya has also used her abilities to accelerate the *age* of an object multiple times and considering her almost immortal, youthful appearance most likely used her ability to *slow down her own age.*
She can also make it to where Past, Present and Future are all existing *at the same time,* making nearly *all* possibilities for counterattacks impossible. There were several points in time where Sakuya lied about her abilities such as during the an event where kidnappings were happening.
Sakuya's existence and backstory are an enigma, we barely know anything about her past and most of the knowledge we have of her usually comes from observing her behavior, day-to-day life and listening in to what she says. Some folks think she used to be a vampire hunter, others think she was living normally somewhere before her powers were discovered and she was hunted down because of them. As for her personality, it's a bit vague at times. When she's working she maintains a personality fitting for a maid, but when around others she's unfamiliar with her lack of common sense really shows itself. During the events of Silent Sinner in Blue she opened a window while *in space* due to not realizing humans (and other living creatures) need oxygen to breathe, in Unconnected Marketers when venturing into a cave that's being used to mine for materials she ignores the warnings give and ventures forth only to leave due to unbreathable air upon going deeper in the cave.
Due to her personality shifting when dealing with those she's either unfamiliar with or those she could care less about she tends to be a bit harsh and occasionally insults and smack-talks especially when dueling others.
Like mentioned before, if you wish to learn about certain characters and their abilities, backstory and history you'd have to either read the print works, play the games or read about them on the Wiki (for your convenience: en.touhouwiki.net).

With this I do realize that heaven dio would have a challenge beating sakuya, but as long as he is smart about it it is entirely possible for him to beat her. Like I said, it would be very challenging to manage to hit her due to her being busted, but I do believe that heaven dio would stand a chance. at this point it would be speculation due to both of them being busted characters. once again, thank you for trying to help me understand how sakuya works. I will read up on her when I have the time, and respond when I believe that I can understand her character.

This is an interesting concept. Part 3 Dio encountering Dio gone to heaven for the first time is something that would've been cool if they added it in eyes of heaven.

Yeah this fight is pretty much unfair for DIO. It's a 8-C character with limited timestop VS. A 2-C character with infinite timestop and other time haxes. The only reason Sakuya didn't kill DIO immidiately is because she wanted to get information from DIO.

I love the uses of diffent sprites throughout the animation! It blends in well with the animation and fight!
Good Lord, I havent seen anything from you in a hot month or two. Well the same can be said for all the animators I watch. Anyways Im guessing this is the start of a over-arcing series cause thats what everybody's been cooking up. Also your best animation to date. Fast paced, Butter Smooth, talking between opponents is quick and effective but I'd knock down a point for it being Dio again. Good Job Overall, Dude!

I'm curious about the sound effect that Dio made when he teleported in 4:55 (which is also probably the same teleport sound effect by Sakuya in Shadow VS Sakuya at 1:49 of that video)

Sakuya is a more deadly version Dio version, at the point that she has the powers and abilities of the already ascended Dio, that was nothing to her in comparison of Sakuya, but she hold herself, we will never know what is the limit of Sakuya's skills and power
