Well that's only if you don't replace the old glue, normally you would always replace clean off the old glue and replace it. T-7000 mobile glue is the most common one used and can be bought cheap online.

Worked for me! Yes you have to get rid of the water seal but I don't take my phone in the water anyways. Luckily already had the security bit (called 0.8 in my set) its a star shaped bit.

Because my iPhone 7 started this weird sound on the home button when I dropped it on the hard floor so every time I click it I find it weird because it doesn’t sound like this before. As long as you don’t have any cracks on your screen pushing down on the sides of the home button super hard reduces the sound

I fixed mine by going to home button in settings and switching between 1,2, and 3 to find one that makes it stop, i would say 1 and 2 work for that.

What could be the reason for my iphone 7 plus home button and sound not working when ever it shuts down and gets turned back on, it does need the battery replaced its at 56 % capacity . It works all fine, until the phone dies or you turn it off then it takes a bit to turn back on like being on the apple logo loop and then once it turns on its really slow and laggy, the home button doesnt work sometimes you press it but no vibration when ever you press it or a very loud noise plays when it vibrates, no sound comes out the phone. What ive been able to do to make it all work again is charge it all the way then let it drain all the way down again and try to turn it on and hope it goes back to normal. Could it be the battery health being so low it doesnt provide the proper energy to turn on the phone correctly ? Or is it the taptic engine or??

If you make a custom vibration for notifications, you can make it constant and it’ll give a way better indication of it

Thank you for posting this video! I was able to fix the rattle sound on my phone!!! In my case, one of the screws came out completely. I put it back in, tightened it and now no more rattling/clicking. YES!!!
I think the hardest part of this process was breaking the adhesive seal. Once it was broken, it was an easy process. Thanks, again!

You just need to buy mobile phone glue, remove the old glue, it's the black sticky stuff all along the edge, then replace it and when you close it up you back to normal. T-7000 is the most common one used. Hope that helps
