Wow! I have been charging my iPhone by squeezing the charge cable into a certain position and pressure point, then taping it so it stays in that position while it charges each night. I was ready to pay to have the charge port replaced, until I found your video. I can't believe the amount of lint I dug out of it. Upon plugging the charge cable in after doing so, it immediately was charging without regard to the position of the cable! Thank You!

I’ve had my iPhone 8 for over a month on the shelf because I could not get it to charge. I changed the cord , I change the charger , I changed where I was plugging it in . I used a small paper clip to gently scrape the contacts but nothing came out , but I plugged it in a kitchen outlet anyway . I go Into the living room & sit down for about minute when I heard it come back to life . I started to laugh when I said to myself “ This is I gave it shock treatment & brought it back to life“ Thank You for the great advice . Now If you’ll excuse me , I’m going to see a psychiatrist about this shock treatment Business , lol Can’t wait for the replies you’re going to get about my review , LOL

And I also messed up I think before I found this video. I unscrewed the screws from inside around the charging port and there's a screw I unscrewed that has a little metal piece I can't describe how it looks but I can't remember which way it was or what it went over
