better use a copressed air keyboard cleaner, and for best result (really lomg term fix) blow it using a heavy air compressor (ask to your local garage or gas station)
I have a brand new 6S, only a few weeks old. It was making a loud clicking when I just barely pressed the home button. This did the trick. I had a screen protector on it and I think some crud from the rounded edge of the protector got lodged under the metal edge and was clicking when I pressed the button cause it was only the right side.

Al lot of you asked me if it has to be rubbing alcohol. The answer is yes, because alcohol evaporated quickly and pulls out any water with it. And it’s great for cleaning things like that. So I would consider rubbing alcohol against any other method that could potentially damage any components.

I was a little uncertain about doing this since I got my iPhone 6 like a month ago, but I did felt a cracking noise, kinda unstable botton etc. Well long story short I tried this (the only alcohol I had in my home was only 70%) and it worked PERFECT!!! Omg guys my phone was doing this yesterday and I was so mad at it I watched this video but I didn’t have alcohol so I couldn’t do it, but today I was going somewhere with my mom and my phone fell on the floor and when I picked it up it wasn’t doing the thing anymore, I’m so happy😂😂😂

How does this happen in the first place? I actually got my entire phone replaced at the Apple store and it STILL did this on my second phone. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

If it keeps it up, I will have saved $129 because according to Apple, you have to replace the display along with the button if you want to repair it.
pineapple reason for rubbing alcohol is because it evaporated quickly unlike water. Hence why alcohol is best choice. Just don’t use vodka because it has water in it. Rubbing alcohol has less and it evaporated quickly.

Rubbing alcohol around your home button does absolutely nothing. Except give it a nice clean on the surface. Some home buttons may have a slightly more distinctive sound to them. It's life Accept it.
I got the problem with my iPhone 6 64 GB I'm not sure if I wanna take to my carrier or Apple probably they I'm crazy but the click noise its driving crazy so annoying all my friends got the iPhone6 but on space grey & they don't have the click noise
