iSurfTribe, ever since I found your channel last year in about august, I was very inspired to surf and watched too many of your videos. This year I afforded some classes and went from a 10ft board to a 7ft now. I feel like my surfing is getting much better with your tips and videos. I've been land-locked where I've been living (in western Canada) for the past fifteen years, and only get to surf nowadays during trips to Kauai. I've just started watching your videos over the past couple of weeks, and I'm really enjoying them; videos keep me engaged with surfing while I'm away from the ocean, and encourage me to stay in shape for the surf. Your videos are great. The variety of surf content, and the comfortable, inviting manner in which you present keep me coming back for more, so I wanted to comment and thank-you for that. As a parent, it's also nice to see your children effectively growing up in the videos, being active and imaginative, enjoying the ocean, and improving their surf skills. Major kudos to you for raising two great kids and providing such great opportunities for them!
I noticed in this video that Atua was using his mouth-mount while you were recording from the beach, and it occurred to me that it might be very effective, especially for instructive videos, to edit the footage together in split-screen with voice-over to provide a beach view and first-person POV. The editing might be more challenging I suppose, but it may be something to consider for future videos.

With a smaller board you have to be more aggressive, but Lorenzo attacks the wave in his own way, his style is so cool

That was a great looking surf session. When we lived on Panama, I don't recall anyone surfing. But, Coasta Rico... it always looks nice. One thing, people did steal. At the beach, people left their car windows down, and the trunk open.
It's my biggest wish to learn how to surf since maybe six years and this year I become 16 years old.. And this wish gets so much bigger when I see videos like that!!:) It looks great!!:) Greetings from germany:D

You guys get some of the nicest waves compared to Florida we usually have just close outs unless there is a good swell wind is perfect or a nice lil storm works nice

I'm 12 years old and I surf a 5.8" board. I have tried smaller boards but I don't feel comfortable in turns and cut backs.I don't know why.

I can ride a wave no problem but for some reason I have issues catching a wave, could you guys do a video on positioning or maybe show a few clips of them before paddling into the wave??
You should go to a different surf spot that's like a point break or a super holo spot
Hi guys. Nice session. After the wipeout session, I wandered: how often do you guys open dings on your boards?
Last time I wiped out, my foot hit the tail of the board. That opened a crack big enough to ruin the rest of my session. I just saw it after I got back home.

Is it worse getting wrecked while your riding the wave or when your paddling out because I live in Virginia beach and recently we had a big swell with 7ft face and I was to scared to catch the bigger set waves

Awesome surfing and content. Been watching regularly since I discovered the channel. Where in Costa are you guys located? I've been coming to Guiones every year since 2011! Would be stoked to surf together if I visit this year!!
I still suck at surfing...I'm only about 6-7 days into surfing...I'm 6 foot 245lbs Alot of it is FAT...I can't lose that much more weight///245 is low I've been 280-300 more than 245... I surf mostly half Moon Bay////not Mavericks but half Moon and on the east coast OBX////NJ....I'm a former boogieboarder I can do spins barrel rolls and catch air...my prop time on a surfboard is currently horrendous...what surfing exercises can I work on when I'm not on the coast.....I'm 1000 miles away from OBX and 2500/3000 miles away from Mavericks////Oregon coast

Hey random question: I have asthma, and I know most of the roads are dirt and the weather is hot. Do you know how that would affect someone with asthma? Is asthma a common thing in Costa Rica? And do you ever get people with asthma who want to learn to surf?
Heey! I don't live in Costa Rica, but i surf and I've got asthma too. I think it depends if you have a lot or not. I considere that I've got like the normal average of asthma. And, surfing and being in the sea helps me a lot, it kind of open my lungs. And for example, I can't run for a lot of time, but I can surf like for three hours.
