i bet these updates that say nothing has really changed probably change visualizations and map data... just thinking out loud...

Sometimes they do but for the most part I think they are just some small internal bug fixes.. If it changed something like visualizations it should show or should be pretty obvious.. thinking out loud with you lol

Bought Model 3 in May 2019 and paid for FSD 6000USD at the time. The guy I was talking with at the so called Tesla show room said the car can go an pickup your kids by Dec 2019. What a BIG FAT LIE.. Elon has no clue and is totally disconnected from his developers. Where are the MILLION ROBO TAXIS HE TALKED ABOUT....??? I do not have the FSD Beta either and the car now has weird steering problem even after tesla fixed it. Tesla customer support is the worst.
I seriously doubt the FSD can handle coming out of my community where we are at a stop sign at a T intersection with no signal and two lanes each on the road I am trying to get on to. No signal there. I have to see it to believe it if FSD can do that during rush hour. Also when you are maneuvering a curve on the free way and a truck is beside you and you are in the inner lane, tesla does not understand "banking" of the road and stays in the center of the lane too close to the truck. Makes the driver pee in his pants.
I am not a complainer. I have a masters degree in physics and also computers. Wrote my first computer program in 1988. So much for AI.. we are 20 years away at least and we wont be driving cars 20 years from now.
Think before you buy. I am extremely disappointed the car is breaking down in 3 years whereas Elon said these cars can last a million miles. Yeah right.

Hey Vinny G! I am sorry for the late reply! Thanks so much for your feedback and your information. Yeah, when my gf and I were first thinking about what to get for our configurations on our cars FSD was a big consideration. Our biggest turn offs for it was how it doesn’t stay with YOU the driver, but the CAR. So essentially you would be buying it for whoever you sell your car to in the future. If Tesla had given you the subscription and stays with you for all your future Teslas then it would’ve been a no brainer. Admittedly, we also did have our doubts on the FSD and if it would totally worth it..
I have a family member who bought FSD on her Model Y and they were showing me some of the features and I gotta admit, I was really not too impressed with it. I sincerely hope for the future or Tesla as a company’s sake and also for us as customers of Tesla, that they start making changes for the FSD as where it is currently I wouldn’t recommend anyone get it.. I actually had a loaner for a few days with FSD on it. It was cooler than I had thought originally but wasn’t blown away by it at all and found myself too scared to let it drive me and even trust it to handle red lights at times.. Maybe I wasn’t using it properly but it was for sure worrying MANY times lol. I think in it’s current state a bit of a gimmick, but for enthusiasts and early adopters its a great thing! :)
