I do not own the rights to any of the music used in this video
That's what I like about you you look at all stereos small and large.... All around respect
Nice! We love the more obtainable systems. I would love a demo in person on this one. Thanks for the video.
Goes to show you power matched systems still slam no matter the wattage . I mean it only gets better after 1000 watts .. and that’s how they get ya hooked
Install, install, install....
Yes!! I had a similar setup in a 91 escort gt we ran at comps .. 4 12 inch volfenhag running on a single kicker dx700 doing 149.9 sealed on dash and a 173.8 in outlaw (put the mic in The port) same style box but my port was slot at the bottom edge to edge . Removed the back seat and the box touched the front seats with about 4-6 inches of gap at the rear so the port could breathe ..
I did run a single 12" in a sealed box in my vw golf metered at the window 138,4 with a 500rms amp... Due to covid i cant meter my new ported box with the same sub and amp... Only other diffrence is placment and box for my 6x9"
Impressed with your spl... But area of moving air is greater with 4 subs
outlaw and port scores are extremely different outlaw is in the kick with the door open port is straight up called port score
I had 4 12s, in a sealed box, in an 89 escort, in the mid 90s, that was pushing 150.2 on 2 600 watt amps.
That’s amazing for 1,000 but once more power come its gonna be a monster
I love seeing this shit bro we ain't all on that infinite budget!
Love resilient sounds and them guys and you be jamming to your Jacob bass beat tracks😁
How he got 1000 watts on 4 subs, and 3200 watts on mids n highs? Weird 2 me. But it works! In the Jocob voice! 😆
i wanted to prove that i can hang with the big hitters with less wattage, plus i am trying to bring baby systems back, you dont have to spend a kidney or sell a limb to have a nice system, the choice to have 3200 watts on my highs and mids just happened really, i kept adding more and more speakers, i have 8 6.5 4 5.7 and 4 1 inch tweets so thats why i have 3200 watts on my highs and mids
Michael Whitmer love it man 🤟🏽👍
@@michaelwhitmer8859 you have inspired me i was going to add more power to my twelves but i think im going to work on the mid and highs
wait. are you saying your only giving them 250w rms each?
Love the budget builds. I have a pair of Skar SDR-10 on a Audiopipe amp. The subs are 600 watts each, but the amp is giving them over 700 watts each. It still sounds like it needs more power, though.
What's the max power than one of those subs cam take?
@@NavyCook08 1,200 watts max
Nice clean install. Love the box works great for your subs . Cool build dude 😎
Nice entry level bang for the buck he made it work nice great demo thanks for the video as always Jacob
I upgraded my stock alternators at a local battery starter and alternator shop for 80 to 100 depending on how many amps the Alternator can go my '94 Caprice had 100 amp alternator and now it sits at 240 my 03 Silverado had 105 and now it currently sits at 300 A little as 80 to $100 upgrade is a hell of a lot better when you don't have the money to spend on aftermarket alternators and need more amps now
Hm ima need to look into this cos those aftermarket hi output alts are expensive af.
That's crazy loud for low watts congrats
Very nice demo there my friend. Thats actually pretty good for being a budget system
total in the whole system is 504.63 to date, thanks to amazon and some really great friends
I wish you could have demoed me and my 4 B2 Audio IS-15's powered by 1 JL Audio JX1000/1. It was down right scary the loud lows it produced in 10 cubes sealed.
Like the sound love the Buckeye stuff
I just saw a prefab box for four 12s for 120 bucks...thinking of getting it and throwing in 4 skar SDRs two inverted and two regular...I only have a skar rp1500 amp so it should sound pretty decent huh?
Hell yea, more than enough to satisfy.
Nice setup
I have a 2001 blazer with 4 12s in ported box on taramps 8k bass amp they pound 4 soundstreamTrantulas
2:35 Amp overheats and shuts down. That demo lasted a whole 2 minutes if that. Ya it may sound good in that SUV but there is too much sub and not enough amp. At 1.6ohm that amp is hurting and I'm surprised its stood up as long as it has. It probably at most is giving you 600 watts out of that AudioPipe. Anything will sound good in a SUV.
My buddie has 4 pioneer subs in a atro van with a old school kenwood amp straight slamming .
Not bad to only have 1k on 4 subs👀💪🏿💯
JV good job on asking about the alternator👍
yep i just recently went a 135 output alt, all i could afford as far as upgrade went from 110 to 135... expensive 254 crazy
Nice budget build
I hate to say this but any system is attainable with good credit and a decent job
504 dollars is all i have in my set up, thanks to amazon and some great friends.. i have very bad credit, but i work hard and know where to shop plus i knew what direction i wanted to go in so that helped
Needs better demo music! But nice system
you are correct, still not sure what to play for demo music so any advice i will listen
Michael Whitmer look into some of the demo bass cds from the 90’s
Michael Whitmer look at bass cds from 80’s & 90’s! Bass outlaws , bass mechanic, tech master peb, bass from the krypt, bass citation, bass society, any pan disks cds if you can find! Soundstream bass till the cows come home! Bass 305, techo bass crew and many more from my era in car audio!! Nowadays people just don’t put out demo music like years ago!!
Now for sound clairity for mids and highs many choices such as some miariah carey , early madonna, some jazz, dance club music from mid 80’s like stevie b or maybe van halen , or vocal oriented music! Your taste of music can help influence choices. Look for something that displays the speakers you are trying to highlight in your demo! Hope this helps!!
Look at music played at sbn starting in 85 and into early 2006!! Sound craftets in Daytona Beach Florida is who hosted the events and they made videos!! Just under a hour from my house! Life was good back then for car stereo!! They are still in business on ridgewood ave in Daytona, i was there a couple months ago! Give them a call maybe they might have some old demo cds 💿 for sale?? Check them out!!
Brazilian Sounds 12s!
nice!
nice
I may post a video when I get done
Nice 👍🏽
Anyone know what song is playing in the bg at 3:00?
That's how u keep from blowing speakers
Not bad
What's the decaf. And vid starts "that should be efficient".
Yes it could be better.
Nice set up!!!
How the hell🧐. That's all I need right there
4:04 What are those 2x4 braces screwed into? The floor chassis?
So I decided to upgrade my 1000 watt audiopipe to a skar rp1200... Lol went up 200 watts
Does it sound a lot louder
@@midwestsavage00 I was right at a 140 db and now I am at 146.2 db
Nice...👍👍👍🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹...
I choose efficiency over raw power in most situations. I think the more efficient something is the more impressive. Why run 10k when you could be loud on 2k?? Big numbers don’t impress me anymore
Question jacob if I'm running a 5 to 6000rms amp with a single run of ofc 0/1 gauge from front to back battery with a 300amp fuse if it tries to pull past what that single run can support will it blow the fuse?
You wouldn’t be running a true 5-6k rms amp with one run of 0 gauge. An average amp has an input every 2.5-3k watts and fuses shouldn’t exceed 350-400 max honestly and amps will draw more then That on a true power hungry amp that high.
@@JacobViral so for my skar rp3500.1 I need at least 2 runs of 0/1 gauge and 350a or 400a no higher on each
@@JacobViral thanks again for the info
What is the greatest budget build of all time??
Not a bad budget system.
uh.. the dude said he has the subs wired "down" to 1.6 ohms... but its a 1 ohm amp.
I really think this dude doesn't know much about car audio or how impedance works.
incorrect good sir although i do like peoples opinions your knowledge of me, since you don't know me, let me educate you a bit... Resilent sound entry subs (my subs) are dual 6.5 not dual 4 ohms like they claim, I have a few friends that have helped with my wiring and they all own stereo shops and have been in the game for a very long time, we ohmed out each sub before wiring, once all the coils were wired we omhed out all 4 together and it read 1.6 on the meter, it sounds weird but it is just that, if i had a picture i would shoot it to you, now i have some other friends who have the same subs and they are true dual 4 ohms, so i do not know why mine are that way.. but just because something dose not seem correct in your eyes please do not assume that i do not know what i am doing, and yes before you say i have misspelled words lmbo
I got 4 12 at 2000 watts no video yet want to make it look better
1 ohm amp but wired "down" to 1.6? Also, where is he coming up with the 1.6? Custom 6.4 ohm subs?
Sounds like 2 dual 2 and 2 duals 4 wired in parallel.

Amazing my style 1000-4000 watts
I didn't have $400 bucks to spend on my alt either but some how I managed to pull them out of my ass and do it the right way.
Lmao what? Dude is running less than 1000w to the subs and has an efficient box, plus 2 batteries. Doesnt need no $400 alternator. I have a 320a alt but damn, if he dont need it, then he dont need it
The lead/acid batteries inside the cabin is a fail and so is the audiopipe amp
What’s wrong with audiopipe amps dude? They get down & sound good. Smh
well its doing pretty good for a couple of years old, and i get 1st place at every show i compete, so is it a fail really?
Michael Whitmer i rock audio pipe amp on stock electrical And my 2 Fi 12’s get dowwwnnnn. Dudes just a hater bro. Your shits gettin it homie 💯
@@FLINTmitten810 hey I have 2 fi q 12s (dual 2 ohms) sealed, on a sundown SAZ 2500.. Seems like they can take much more! Thinking about running another sundown 2500, 1 per sub. What do you think? Have much knowledge you have with your sub amp setup? Are you sealed or ported? Size amp? Appreciate it
This guy has money, spending in the wrong places
400 dollars shouldve gone to alternator first before anything else.
cost more then that for my truck or at least thats coming from js alt
I think his name is Big Mike...
that is correct
Song is lame
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My 2 12s got twice that much power going to them lol. Making me re-think things lol.
just my friends 1x15 gets 3000w..
He has twice the cone area tho
Plays one bline
Only one frequency very lame
Def only a 1k...
Always interesting to hear the "expert commentary " coming from the sidelines lol!!!
yes only a 1000 watts on the subs, and it clamps at 805 watts, but i also have 3200 watts for my highs and mids
Nice budget setup
