I go tubing at watermelon park on occasion, where you have a bus drive you to the top of the river and you float back down with your buddies with some drinks and snacks. It's honestly a very fun thing to do especially for the price. I haven't ever been to the campground part of the park since I'm not really into camping, so I cannot speak on that

We went to a campsite in Cornwall UK a few years ago. It was awful. The whole wash block, showers and toilets were closed because of a blockage. I woke up one morning to an awful stink then realising fellow campers were taking it in turns to "Unload" behind our tent. One guy was squatted down just 3ft away heaving out his morning delivery. There was a large mound of crap and toilet paper. On the 3rd day they were trying to clear the blockages in the toilets and had a cover up on the pavement. They should have completely closed off the area when it was being done but 100`s of campers were filing past as they worked. I witnessed a huge brown water cloud at high pressure immerge from the opened sewage cover. It soaked a good 15 people in stinking sewage. IT was carnage with women and children screaming. To end the experience I decided to have a meal in their restaurant/cabaret hall. It was quite dark as a show was on. I thought I tasted raw chicken only to discover from my phone torch that blood was running out of the chicken. Luckily I did not get ill but gave the staff a bollocking telling them that with chicken Medium rare is not an option. It was a nightmare
Sounds like worst camping trip ever. Here in the states (NC) we have a big thing called the Merle festival and people come from all over to attend and alot of vendors. During that week in May they open alot of temporary "campgrounds" around here that aren't actually campgrounds and only function as one, one weekend out of the year. One of the worst places was when the town decided to rent out the land around the sewage treatment facility to campers. My dance school was a half mile away and let's just say going there 2-3xs a wk we got used to the smell BUT I could NOT imagine PAYING to camp and pitch a tent right beside of it no matter how much open land surrounds it, you couldn't pay me to sleep there. They did this for a few yrs and as an adult I moved into an apartment that wasn't far from the facility and my dance studio but judging from the loud music and noise the out of towner's were having a grand time right next to the counties sh@tter!!😂 After that I always referred to them as the "festers" as the whole festival started out being a country then hippie\boho thing but has now transformed into new age&more. The only time I EVER wanted to even attend the festival ( which is miles away from the sewage campground) was when Robert Plant from Led Zep came to perform❤

That’s every camp ground. They all suck because they don’t enforce the rules and when they have locals permanently staying on site, they’re rowdy every single night
One thing I've realized is most of the time anyone going out of there way to write a 1 star review is someone trying to harm a businesses reputation because they broke a rule or were rude and felt entitled to do whatever they want and so they got mad when someone put them in their place and decided to write a bad review.

The tent would have worked much better if you had set it up properly. The end lines must be tight to pull the ridge straight. even the best tent would leak if setup this poorly.
If this is a 1 star campground I’m shocked lol. Those 1 star reviewers have never been to Murfreesboro AR. That was the roughest campground I’ve ever been in and I camp a lot

Great video! I used to camp all the time when I was younger and campgrounds were not full. It's nice to see this one is not super full of annoying campers next door to each other. Now I don't even try because a Motel 6 is essentially the same price and at least you get a private bathroom.
It looks like a lovely place to camp and is very reasonably priced. However, disgruntled customers always leave negative reviews. Loud, drunk, and obnoxious people get told to shut up or leave, and that's the way it should be.
