Great job, everything looks great i like the details you added. Like the way you painted the crossties gives me a idea 💡. Thanks for sharing. Have a good day.
You can prevent bleeding by spraying clear mat paint first this seals the gaps under the masking tape and gives you a clear sharp finish with the finish colour coat.
You have obviously done your homework. Great eye for detail! What part of the country is the refinery your modeling? Mine is in the North East. It also makes coke from coal that gets utilized by the refinery to generate it's electrical power via an on site electrical power station and electrical substation. Too many ideas and not enough space was my dilemma.
The refinery isn't really modeled off any real ones. I live in Northern Alberta where there are lots of refineries so I suppose I have inspiration from them. 100% with you on the ideas but not enough space.
Thanks for another great video. Love the ballast spreader - Cheers, Bruce
Nice work on your refinery area. Great details too!
I legitimately love ballasting.
To help stop bleeding through try either spray paint the area with clear or brush on clear to seal the area. Good luck.
Brilliant. Thank you!

Great video! Looking forward to the ground cover!!

This makes sense. I was going to spray the whole road with a matte sealer but was unsure of the results. Your idea is better!
Nice job on your road, I like the rough road look. Bob
Thanks. I was kinda going for a roughish worn down look. Perhaps this is more than I planned but it's okay. :)
Very nice video and its looking great all

love this, we are similar in style
I love your show🙂. How do you ballast and hide the 3/8" hole on the edge of the roadbed for the switch machines for code 55 Peco switches?
The hole is still visible, though I find the design of the Peco switches cover the hole pretty well.
You striping is better than my striping.
