I'm partial to Shoshana's "Fiyerooooooooo!" even though it's not the prettiest. It's this gut-wrenching cry of anguish.
Jackie and Joo-Hyun said "I am going to have a whole-ass nervous breakdown on this stage" whereas Willemijn and Hannah said "All shall burn at my hands idgaf"

Hannah Corneau is the queen of no good deed. In my opinion she has the healthiest technique, and I just like her sound better overall!

The floatiness she gives the notes before her belting is really dynamic and really brings so much more interest than just singing all at one volume.

There is a video of her singing no good deed on youtube and it makes some of these performances actually look bad. Like Eden be making most of these chicks look like they must be in a public high school version of wicked 😂 that’s how mind-blowing it is.
May be bias but Laura Pick was the Elphie I saw in London recently (and the first Elphie I’ve seen) so I’m going with her lovely technique which got me obsessed with this song!

Lindsay took over from Hannah and you can definitely tell she took a list of inspo from Hannah’s ending especially her last note!

OK so Park Hye-Na BLEW ME AWAY WITH HER ACTING, as much as this is a vocally difficult song, the acting SO much more important at this part in the show and her, eden, and Julia are the best in this category (also Willemijin is an amazing actress here AND also sings this so effortlessly ) But i do agree that Jessica Vosk and Jackie are the best vocaly

The overall best "No Good Deed" is Lisa Brescia - Broadway standby 2007-08 and Chicago 2008 - but she's not listed.
Of these, Julia Murney is the best-acted, though several others - Idina, Willemijn, etc. - are certainly no slouches.
Also, I've said this elsewhere, but rename the Gershwin Theatre the Gershwin-DiNoia Theatre, or erect a statue to Jennifer DiNoia inside the Gershwin. Either/or.

@@matthewrandell5055 there's a difference between Standby and Understudy. Standby is there in the theatre just as if they were a lead, they're the first person to replace a role if something bad or unplanned were to happen. An understudy is there just in case the standby isn't available.
