a lot of times i start to think of wicked as overrated, but then i watch these vlogs and im transported back to being a little seven year old seeing wicked for the first time and deciding she wanted to be elphaba one day. these vlogs make me remember why this was my first ever dream role.

Katie Rose Clarke is by far the best Glinda acting-wise. She's funny, and yet she's real. Other are just funny, close to being unnecessarily comical. Especially Katie's NOMTW and Thank Goodness!

Lindsay Mendez will always hold a special place in my Wicked heart. She was cast at such a beautiful time in the show’s history, she was the perfect 10th Anniversary Elphaba. I’ve never seen her live but I feel like I did through her Fly Girl Vlogs and the promo videos. She really is something special. It’s like the role was made for her. She will always have a handprint on my heart.
And as I heard the overture playing...I flipped out...and continued thinking the music in my mind, all the while thinking to myself "I TECHNICALLY just heard a Broadway overture!"

I've literally watched this series so many times and I never get sick of it haha. I've stopped doing theater since I graduated high school almost 5 years ago, but there is still a little part of me that dreams of being Elphaba on Broadway.
I envy the long line of singer/actresses who have the privilege to go through that process of being painted on & wear that wig are lucky to play my fave Broadway musical character of all time. I've seen Wicked here in L.A. 6 years ago. I hope to see this show again on Broadway.

I know some people that work with them, Like the lighting guy and Craig, Lindsay's makeup artist. I just saw Derek, but he smiled and said hey and I got to talk to KRC and LM for a minute. I got to run through the entrance for defying gravity lol It took me 1 minute. But I got to see all the trap doors and got to walk on the stage. It was amazing.
i remember going to london when i was about 8 to watch this so about 4-5 years ago and i loved it me and my best friend went together(on a school trip) and we were singing the songs for weeks
