Many years ago I found a video where you teach how to draw eyes. I began to draw since then. And today I bump into this video for my realistic drawing class. You mean so much to me, thanks Mark.

you're funny. you remind me of my music teacher. i like that because it takes the stress of learning new techniques in drawing. i'm very hard on myself and get frustrated easily, so it's nice to hear how chill you sound.

(see what I did there) Because I often want to draw wood or wooden objects but they never really look like wood. Thanks again!! ^_^

I know you probably won’t read this but I use to watch your videos a lot when I was young and starting out drawing. Now I’m growing as an animator in college! I’ve gotten into an art class recently and for my personal project I need to properly learn how to sketch glass. I just randomly clicked on your video and instantly recognized your voice after so many years. It’s amazing how you helped me then and even now without me even realizing it. Thanks so much mark!

Thank you.

I really enjoyed every bit of this tutorial! Thanks Mark! I'm just starting my art journey - My current art homework is to draw a metal tin can, but I can't find any tutorials on that specific item, though I have seen some on doing shiny, metal textures. That's how I stumbled onto this vid - it's great! I love the fact that it's narrated. I'll be attempting to do glass next! All the best to you and every fellow artist out there.
