Drawing Glass and Metal/Reflective Objects Tutorial

Drawing glass or reflective materials for the beginner can be an intimidating subject, but it doesn’t need to be. The best way to think of it is as a pattern of value shapes, that all start with a simple line drawing. Drawing in the individual shapes of value first will set you up for a successful drawing. Start lightly, with the larger shapes, working your way to the smaller details. Before you know it, the object appears in its fullness. Also, as always, have fun in your drawing explorations!
