    Hello, I have a question about color theory. Let’s say you drew a character on a more traditional medium. That means you would have to use a RYB color wheel. And if you were to use a complementary color scheme with red and green, what would you if you wanted to draw the same character on a screen? Because for when you draw on a screen, you use the RGB color wheel. And when I look up the RGB color wheel the complementary color for red is blue, not green. So does that mean that your character which you originally created on paper, with a red, green complementary color scheme, that is now on a screen, is no longer a complementary color scheme, because RGB color wheel has red’s complementary color is blue instead of green? If you wanted to keep the complementary color scheme with red does this mean you now have to change the green to blue? And what does this mean when you’re trying to use color psychology? If blue doesn’t work with the color psychology, what would you do?
    Thank for your time.

      Not a professional, but in a traditional medium it's CMY(K) type of colour mixing, not RYB
      the visible light spectrum does not shift , it just changes the way colurs mix on the medium

      You might mix projected light from luminous objects (light bulbs) differently from reflective substances (paints except for black) to get an orange, but that shade and hue of orange is interpreted the same if we remove all distractions from our perception. Regardless of how you got that orange to enter your eyes, that orange is that orange.

      Just...use the colors you used in the traditional medium.
      Like, you can sample the colors you laid down in the traditional medium if you scanned it in, OR just...look at it. And select colors very close to that on screen.
      RGB and CMYK just refer to whether something is digital or print (on a screen and made from light, or on an object and made of inks). You still get all the same colors when using either color space, it's just that you mix different things to get them. CMY are the colors you get when mixing RGB and vice versa.
      Example:
      Cyan = B, G
      Magenta = R, B
      Yellow = R, G
      Red = Y, M
      Green = C, Y
      Blue.= C, M
