    • @pushpeshjoshi206
      @pushpeshjoshi206 4 года назад +4

      Mostly the rules are same but here is a diffrence that wet sufaces refract or distort the object a little on transparent liquids and opaque ones like mercury are the same while oil and honey have a slight filter like appearece and glow in presence of a strong light source like the sun and a strong torchlight

    Jazza, I have a great idea for a video that will help me and many others, you should do a video on how to make animations that are at the best quality (Not Rubbish drawings or animation) BUT are quick to make (like 1 to 2 weeks each).
    This would help us greatly because many of us either rush our animations sacrificing quality or take months doing a high quality 4 minute animation.
    Thanks

    Nice tutorial, Jazza - I wasn't convinced 'till the end where you add colour, it really makes a difference. I used this for a study and added to it, using colours for the shadows, highlights and environment from the start, but it's probably easier to start monochrome and build up the colour later on.

      I have been drawing with a mouse, for years! You get used it. But, a drawing tab is much easier, and faster. You can find some for around 70 to a hundred at frys electronics, or best buy! I would recommend getting one.

    • @chasefinch4852
      @chasefinch4852 9 лет назад

      Just draw on paper and scan into an art program (like photoshop). It'll help remove some of the need for a tablet.

    • @Bownimations01
      @Bownimations01 9 лет назад

      WurstschneideBrot I draw with a mousepad ^^ My avatar was drawn on the computer using normal paint found on any Windows computer and a mousepad. It all really depends on preference. I've had a tablet before, and I didn't really like it. It made things harder for me. The pen was over sensitive, the tablet screen itself was too small (as I had a 3x4, which is the smallest size), and over all, I found that it was harder for me to get where I needed to be and to draw things correctly. I prefer using a mouse (or as I have a laptop, mousepad) because it's easier and more natural to me. If you are able to try a tablet, see how it works for you. You may like a mouse better, or the tablet better. Then whichever you prefer, practice with that tool. Also, as for it being too expensive, try online sites like Amazon or Ebay and buy one that was used. They should be considerably cheaper. If you can't buy it online, save up and buy it in stores, or if you still live with your parents, ask them to get one for you for like your birthday or something. And if you just absolutely cannot get one, Chase Finch is right, scanning helps. You can buy a personal, handheld scanner for 19.98 plus shipping on Amazon (the cheapest I saw last I checked). And though it's a lot of work, you can also take a picture of your drawing, send it to your email or just upload to your computer, then use like Gimp or another similar program to trace over it in a new layer, delete the background, and work from there. Like I said, this way is a lot of work, but it is doable. I haven't yet got myself a scanner and this technique works just fine.
