Here’s a critique clip from the level 2 drawing basics project on simplifying portraits using shapes, values, and edges. I chose this critique because it emphasizes the significance of considering the value range when drawing anything. This student's example shows the loss of visual information when extreme values are used without halftones. Get more tips and the full critique by checking out the premium course linked above.

When they played a chicken noise every time he said the word "egg".... couldn't breathe. Funniest thing I've ever heard. Seriously that was such a funny edit, it's so good they add those so our ADHD-ridden zoomer brains can be stimulated enough to watch 9 minute video without having an addicted urge to click on something else and rob the channel of ad revenue. Thank you so much, editors.

I would buy this course, just to support the channel (as I've/we've - done in the past). However, there are courses that are still NOT completed, YEARS after the fact.
    ....
Example: the Anatomy course (which doesn't include the head - weird). 2 PDF's for the last 2 anatomy lessons, still remain unfinished... again, it's been years now.
    ...
Finish what you start Proko & finish what we paid for Stan. I don't think we're asking for much!!!
    ...
Fyi... its "we" who supported Proko, buying those earlier courses, that has enabled Proko to grow. Not finishing courses, is a slap to the face to us.
    ...
It's that fear of courses remaining unfinished &, not getting what we paid for &, not feeling respected, is the "why" you havr lost some people buying future products via Proko. Truth.

For some reason I can't seem to understand shadows. Its like my brain can't even fathom implementing shadows to my flat art. I know there is a light source and the light source has the lightest shading and the darkest is where light is absent. But damn it just doesn't make any sense.
