Jason, I just purchased this camera, my first camera was a Pentax K1000 so I understood the basics of photography, but had no idea how to make this camera function. After looking and looking, painfully, through RUclips I finally found this video. It took my 4 hours to work through it, playing with my camera while watching each segment, but now I know where everything is! Thank you, Thank you. Sony should hire you to make an official guide as their tutorials are not the best. Thanks again, keep making helpful videos. KC

I must pile on with my own "Thank you SO much!"
I have this saved to come back to regularly.
I'm not brand new to photography but I am really rusty and this is my first Sony, first mirrorless, and first venture into video on anything other than a phone. I have been rather intimidated and it has limited how much I have put my investment to use.
I feel much more confident experimenting now with this wealth of guidance.
I also appreciate you focusing on the camera at hand and how to use it rather than constant comparisons to other cameras and such. Many other "guides" still feel more like reviews or comparisons vs how to operate, navigate, and optimize that camera I have. Or they spend a huge chunk of the guide telling me what other gear I need.
Again, thank you. This is so helpful and I am finally ready to dive deeper into experiencing more of what this camera can actually do!

Jason it is a great video. I shot professionally for a number of years, before digital photography became affordable. I remember people complaining about how difficult it was to understand shutter, aperture, and ASA I mean ISO. Now along comes digital and instead of 3 primary variables we have a hundred, multiple menus and not so much standardization. Meant to be easier just sort of blows my mind. Thanks so much, I just got my sony and it took me 30 minutes before I could change if from Chinese to English. Happy Holidays! Michael

Thank you for the awesome comments and the best bang for the buck plus quality lenses in my opinion would be as fallows: For an all-in-one the Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 VC Lens (bhpho.to/3sN3XtP) For a killer affordable fast prime lens I would go with the Sigma Trio = 16mm (bhpho.to/3F7UtAl), 30mm (bhpho.to/31G2XfG), and 56mm (bhpho.to/2Du1rUM). For an ultra wide angle I would recommend the Tamron 11-20mm (bhpho.to/3gDw0ZC). For a telephoto I would recommend the 70-350mm (bhpho.to/34v7zYu) My reviews for all these lenses and more can be found here: ruclips.net/p/PL3SqIRuKwn7-U7rvcVgLKxDw1JqLw59q-

Remove the transmount Bluetooth device from the Crane M3 expansion base.

Just watched this after buying my Sony ZV-E10. Never touched a camera in my life before so I was literally clueless before watching this. This was so super useful!! Thank you man.

Thank you. I’ve looked at a few videos for this, and they all assume you’re a camera pro. This is a great tutorial.

Oh my goodness! I want to thank you for this video. I watched a couple other tutorials and I was like 😩. You explained everything so well. I bought this camera for my other RUclips channel and I was intimidated because I have always used my DJI Osmo pocket or my iPhone 14 max pro to film. Now I’m not intimidated and this is my new favorite camera. I have never hit that subscribe button so fast after watching a video. So thank you so much!

Fantastic video. I bought this camera after owning a Canon 7D for 10 years. I have been a photographer all my life but I got so much useful info here. This video probably saved me weeks of experimentation and head scratching! Bravo.

This is an amazing in depth video of every menu item, I can’t thank you enough, I will need to watch this many times to pick up a fraction the features. Thank you for this video, part 1 & 2. Do you happen to have one on how to use the Sony ZV-E10 with a Scorpion Mini 2 Gimbal?

Perfect video!! This was amazing! I make lots of fishing videos and the responsive focus is perfect for trying to capture a great picture of the fish without compromising the health of the fish for it being out of the water too long. I will for sure be ordering this camera soon !

Super useful scamper through so many of the functions. And much easier than a slow scroll through a long user manual, or even a paper one. My zv-e10 hopefully arrives tomorrow and I know now where to start. Thank you Jason.

I've bought the ZVE10 and waiting for it to arrive in a couple of days. This video as helped a lot and made me quite excited about what it can do. I bought this so I have a small feature rich camera that I can pull out and shoot a couple of cool pics without fuss.

Wow.. having watched the entire video, I have a few comments. A lot of things have changed the last few years when it comes to intelligently and user-friendly camera menus. I must say.. Then, I have the impression that some, in fact a lot of those others on RUclips who have reviewed this camera, do not fully understand how powerful this camera really is, when it comes to customization.
I though that only a fraction of all this was possible.
I am impressed by your in-depth knowledge, and your stamina when it comes to making such a long video.
Today I ordered this camera, and will get it in a few days. Thanks to this video, I will get a flying start when it arrives.
Now, I have subscribed to your channel, and am looking forward to more of these excellent instructions!
