Nice Numbers Sir! Might want to clarify that your second run is showing STD correction factor, hence the higher numbers over SAE used on the first run- should help clear up some of the confusion. Either way, she's healthy! -Justin

What you need to do is Right click the graph and change smoothing to 2,3 or 4 as there is alot of interference in the runs.
The graph will smoothen out and it will probably be around 460rwhp.
Something definitely goofy about the pulls and graph, and it's my Dyno I wasn't there and didn't hear about it until days after. Come and have one of us regular users make the pulls and get you clean graphs bud! I wouldnt go by those

It's honestly crazy how much power these 18's make. NA and 510+ to the wheels is crazy. can only imagine how much power you're going to make when you get the vortech

I don't think that would happen seeing this too I feel like the calibration is off on the dyno with mods like that these coyotes make around 485 to the tire he's about 50 rear wheel horsepower over that something is wrong

Alex Chevez have to keep in mind that ford down plays the numbers. These cars make ab 496 hp to the flywheel stock. The long tubes in pair with the e85 and cai with the tune i wouldn’t doubt it
no matter what anyone says about the numbers, you are making great power... the combo works!

@@RK1FX Yeah but that's a really high displacement low revving engine which tend to be torquey. The coyote is a high revving DOHC engine.

No headers just a off road x, gutted cats, flowmaster cat back. I just didnt justify spending a grand for a good pair of long tubes. I opted to go with a tubular k member, panhard bar, and lower control arms. Paired with 4.10 gears the car scoots. I dont see a need for long tubes unless I boost the car, the stock manifolds are good enough for now.
That is a VERY happy Dyno. Must have had the inputs tweaked. That car is 35-40 more than most.

nigh Impossible. 600 crank hp without ported gen 3 intake manifold, ported TB, x pipe and exhaust. 575 crank hp is pretty true without ported TB AND INTAKE MANIFOLD. 600 hp is nigh possible to make. But 535 whp and 600 hp must be ported 2 parts.

Love your videos it's got me convinced the best car scene videos are not made in California! One thing I'd like to mention as you go into exotic pressurized fuel systems to please add automatic fire extinguishers to your engine bay area. I've seen many a tuner build his car up to some magnificent point then do drag runs only to loosen up some obscure fuel component and then the unit catches fire and you can't exit the car until it slows down. Thus a lot of damage can take place before a given fire is extinguished by outsiders.
So unless there's an automatic fire extinguisher ready to go and under the hood you still have to wait for the car to stop before you can step out of it... so I would look into those race grade fire suppression systems! Thank you and keep up the good work!

Couple things, a few of us ST owners went to NoRtheast to get our cars dynoed. He’d never dynoed FWD cars before. It was hilarious when he thanked us ...well most of us... for having quiet cars. AAAAAANYway. We asked how accurate his dyno is, he said within 2 percent. I was happy with my numbers. On a 58 degree morning my little fiesta made 286/290 with a small hybrid turbo. Not too bad with almost zero lag and a 4K powerband

Man, that's awesome! If my math is correct, that's roughly 639hp at the crank.
A coworker has the same setup and he has 460 wheel. The numbers are off. You aren't getting 600 with headers and an e85 tune. The cai doesn't count because the gains are negligible.
@@aaronsmith7143 It’s not the bolt ons alone that will achieve that kind of HP. It’s the e85 tune with the bolt ons. If your friend has “the same setup” and is only getting 460 wheel HP, then he needs to go to a better shop because he’s getting ripped off.
Even if you account for the STD correction (divide by 1.04 to get SAE correction), and the fact that average RWHP is just under 500 from 5600-6700rpm after you smooth out the waves, the 2018 5.0 puts out an insane amount of HP/TQ for its displacement. This engine is a true masterpiece and with a 12.0:1 compression ratio, it can make really good use of E85.
yep compression and the good flowing heads too they move good cfm stock plus high revving dohc its pretty impressive. HP per liter its like a k series

Shelby Muscle forced induction is the way to go for power, naturally aspirated is cool, but it starts getting super expensive after you max out on bolt ons. Next would be heads, cams, by that point you’re better off going with a blower.

@stangmode. You have 4 mods. You can’t leave out the Ford Performance X pipe. It does assist with air flow by deleting the resonator.

My auto 17 is fbo, ported 18 mani, 47lb injectors, longtubes, e85 and it only made 449& 450 whp and 401tq sheesh these 18s crazy making over 50whp with 2 bolt ons and a tune

And I’ve seen these same mods make 470-480 as well. It’s just a number for that dyno that day. I’ll be more interested in the new track numbers. There isn’t 60 rwhp build tolerance difference between motors these days. It wasn’t even that in the 60s. Just differences in dynos. Looking forward to your track numbers I don’t race dynos. I bought a base 19zGT and have 52 000 on it. It's RACE RED(LOOKS GREAT IN THE SETTING SUN OF FLA. First move was to ditch the anemic Ford Exaust and matched FLOWMASTER PIPES WITH A ROUSCH AIR BOX, A RACING XPIPE AND A TUNE. WOW, with two mods I thought I was DRIVING A true MUSCLE CAR! THE THROTTLE BODY RESPONSE AND THE SOUND EAS INCREDIBLE! Went with the "OUTLAW SERIES pipes that are 1inch bigger in diameter than the factory tips. The ROUSCH COLD AIR COMPLETLY COVERS THE FILTER. The next move was to add AMERICAN MUSCLE LONG TUBE HEADERS! Had a 2008 Supercharged Mustange. The 19' is faster of the line and the headers take it to 120 in a blink of a eye. That's were I noticed the biggest HP gain. After sixty miles an hour the car begs you to nail it. What would be your next move with this car besides SC or TTourbo? Mustangs are special and the COYOTE ENGINE IS BADASS! LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR CAR!

Then again oil changes can make a one time 11.3x car go tens. Maybe with the headers he can run his 10.99 since gutting it and getting some race stars didn't do a thing! Watch it go the, same or slower. Show us at the track! #s on the Dyno are always varying.

514 vs. 536 that's a 22 horsepower difference between the two runs, any idea for that big discrepancy? The 536 number sounds a bit unrealistic, should have done one more run to check for consistency. Two back to back runs within a couple horsepower would verify the number being real and not a fluke. No doubt you're well above 500 wheel horsepower which is a great number for a NA 5.0.
Cylinder head temperature, trans oil temp, iat temp, letting the entire engine just cool off and waiting for better air. All of those things play a roll.
I let off early when I did the dyno pull it was my 1st run
I see what you’re saying, when I got mine done there the first pull was lower, the second was higher and we did a 3rd and that’s the lowest. (Heat soak )

Not sure what I would do next but if you are thinking about CobraJet Intake and/or cams, I would dig really deep in research before I did that. (I wouldn't want to give up cam phasing and if you're going boost, sky is still limit without last two). Also, the stock bump sticks on Gen 3 Coyote are pretty frikken impressive as they sit.
Also, Circle D is supposedly developing a stall for the 10R80 and as some people know, 6R80s are nasteee with stalls. The 10R80 doesn't need one as bad as the 6R but still very intriguing.
Keep it up and by the way.. I'm weird and love how you wrapped the Mamba. Lol Very unique and cool.

I love n/a but personally, I'm hoping you just go ahead and go for some serious boost and rear end upgrades. You've made a very loud point on how a n/a Gen 3 Coyote can deal with other BOOSTED cars but I think it's time to show the other side what it does on some psi. The only reason I would stay n/a for awhile longer is to wait on a stall option. I'm REALLY curious how a stall behaves on a 10R80 car.
I have a sneaky suspicion it's going to be hell. lol.
Regardless and if you decide to keep eeking out more n/a performance, I'll be watching.

StangMode bring the car down to Atlanta and attend the Atlanta and Georgia S550 Dyno day on Oct 6th... That way you can compare it to other 18's with similar mods that you have... It is a Dynojet and the highest 18 Mustang has been 490 rwhp SAE. Which I suspect you will be right around those numbers. I will be dynoing my 2018 GT Whipple on E85... besides there is something up with that dynocom dyno the power curve doesn't look like any 18 power curve I have ever seen before it goes from 500 whp down to about 450 and then shoots back up that tells me something is off for sure.

Thats legit. They make 415-420 stock. Headers, E85 and JLT intake, 536hp is probably more like 546-550. These engine love intakes and headers. Congrats. Now get ready for 800+ to the wheels with the JT. Mine is only on 91 unleaded and picked up 230hp to the tires with a 100% off the showroom floor base model. Yours should pick up closer to 300hp

My 18 has kooks headers with a 3” midpipe and corsa extreme exhaust cat back. Jlt cold air, inj dynamics 1050x injectors and a kenne bell boost a pump. It made 503rwhp on 93octane. Never had anything but 93octane in it. We cant get E85 in delaware. Im thinking about putting some race gas and having the tuner do his thing.

Congrats on the numbers. I suggest getting in touch with your tuner. *IF* your tires weren't spinning... That graph looks terrible - educated guess says knock sensors pulling timing... You will eventually hurt something if left as is, the way you run the car. You're leaving a lot of avg power on the table as well - even with the 10 speed holding you in a narrow engine speed window. You can bet your behind the car will stay on the bottom of those dips in the graph on pavement, bc everytime you shift and load goes up - it will pull timing/add fuel etc. Track times will verify. STILL going to be a VERY healthy NA bolt on car when you get it ironed out. Again, congrats/nice work!

Something is not right looking at that graph 9:07. 5500 -6100 you drop 50hp, then ramps up 80+ hp before ending the pull at only 6500. Factory limiter is 7500 and can only assume that tune/redline is higher than that. Peak should be somewhere in the 7000 range and should also be flat to redline. Additionally, cars generally tend to dyno lower with drag set ups on the rear. No doubt your car is making power and you may get close to that 10 sec slip at the track, but that dyno is a little off IMO>

Very impressive especially when you consider its only 302 cubic inches making about 2hp per cubic inch normally aspirated! The 10 speed will keep it in the higher rpm power range....should be a high 10s car in good air.
fords 5.0 DOHC is pretty solid and obviously handicapped from the factory but once its uncorked its moving... i blame all the emissions and epa crap.

Jay ScwhartZ I found the ricer in the comments section who does now jack shit about cars. I purchased my F20b motor for 699 and used a set of used stage 2 cams/retainers. He motor made power to 9k rpms and that’s were I have the redline set at. That setup has been running for 9 years and I’m willing to bet money that what ever setup you have wasn’t even remotely driven as hard as my Honda motor. I’d do 2-5 pulls daily to redline and full throttle 1-4h gears. I drove 2.5 hours to a drive strip ran 12s full weight and drove back with my slicks in the trunk. Also drove 2.5 hours each way to willow springs and did a few time attack laps and drove back home. If you don’t know what you’re talking about don’t say anything.
