The restrictions on government remain the same, regardless of the firearm. The Second Amendment was not written to grant permission for citizens to own and bear firearms. It forbids government interference in the right to keep and bear arms, period.

This also applies to the other 'Rights!.
They are not granted, they stipulate inherent rights that the government may not prohibit."

Thats why they tried using the banks/ debit and credit cards to create a registry like 2 years ago but everyone started dropping banks and it got reversed
They pretty much already have access to who owns firearms. All they have to do is check each state to see who buys a hunting license. Not very many people buy a hunting license without a weapon of some kind. And, I could be wrong, but I believe the information about hunting licenses is a public record.

They need to be careful. being an FFL has only been required since 1968. Prior to that, it was not needed. You could buy a rifle from Sears and shipped to your house. When the Construction was written, you did not need to buy from a FFL. Just something to think about.

The fact that you can't private sale a firearm in Virginia without involving an FFL is preposterous enough. This new 'rule' is clearly criminal and has MASSIVE repercussions for all of us for a long time.

I'm a member of GOA and FPC. I cannot tell you how happy I am from those organizations. I have sent multiple $100 checks to GOA and plan on sending more.
By using ATFs logic. I need a dealers license if I sell my vehicle. Or a realtor license if I do a private sale of my house. So where does it end?

Would be good news for the SCOTUS to rule that NO MISDEMEANOR CONVICTION could be used to deny people their second amendment rights for life, even felony conviction should not be used for that as long as the offender serves their entire sentence,then there is no reason for background checks so they can not make a national gun registry which is the goal so confiscation will be easier

No. Under current regulations an 01FFL can't be used legally for 100% personal use. You have to be able to show an honest effort of running a retail sales business for profit. That's not to say you can't transfer to yourself, but you must show the business effort.

last i checked no one is required to be a licensed business owner to sell goods on Ebay, facebook, garage sales, or numerous other places. We are a business trying to make money by selling our items daily. We are only trying to get rid of what we no longer need for cash instead of destroying and adding to the trash.

As much as I don’t want to support the ATF, wasn’t it an act of Congress (through the “bi partisan Safer Communities Act”) that changed the language that’s causing all of this? The ATF didn’t just change the wording. Congress changed the wording of what it means to be engaged in the business of dealing with firearms. Please correct me if I’m wrong
The FFL requirement needs to be gotten rid of, even for those in the business of selling guns. You don’t need a federal license, and all the federal intrusion, to sell any other item. The FFL requirement is a twisting of the commerce clause and a violation of 2A, as well as a violation of 10A.
