I’m a retired cop, and this is ridiculous!
Start with the low hanging fruit this is all Brady material which compromises their ability to testify in future court proceedings plus now prior arrests and conviction can be appealed.
Now charging documents have a paragraph generally about known lies or admission is sworn false statements, and or perjury because someone has to go before a judge and swear and or affirm that what is alleged in the arrest warrant and assuming search warrant in this case is true accurate. So those are actual crimes.
With due process in mind they should be at least side lined, but should be suspended while the internal investigation is done. Now with that with them dismissing the charges they should be fired, and the litany of charges should be referred to a grand jury. Upon indictment by said grand jury they should be prosecuted, period end of story full stop.
Unfortunately what will probably happen they might get a negative evaluation and reassignment except for the TFO officers from the local department which will get all the blame, and fallout. Essentially like the FBI agent that stole the guns from evidence.

Just a couple of examples in the news currently are Qualified Immunity/Absolute Immunity and Civil Asset Forfeiture.
