*edit* - in most states purchasing 2 handguns triggers a report sent to the ATF. Some states do this for rifles but not most.
The cop asks about being stopped in Philly with one of the guns. Sounds to me like they are running down leads about something else but they are using this rule to see the guns. Let me know what you think about my theory if you would please. I am retired LEO, this sounds like a way to get around a warrant when trying to build your case.
Who tf registers their firearms? I’m confused and not being facetious but I’ve never registered anything other than vehicles.

As former law enforcement, what most people never realize is you don’t have to answer the door and there’s nothing we can do for the most part. Without a warrant or extenuating circumstances, if you don’t answer, we go away

They are so politicked at my front door I don’t trust them taking getting shut down too kindly. We got to be ready because unless they are local law enforcement I don’t trust them at the federal level. We will see.
It still sends shivers down your spine.
For me the conversation would have been short, “is there a warrant in those papers” “no” “then get off my property”
Have to have a middke ground doing that triggers their ego and makes them butthurt. If they want they can make your life hell unfortunately. They could set you up or make it a long process if you hurt their feelings. Sucks but if you can easily get rid of them with 2min of cooperation do so ....Unless you have $$ for lawyer fees. They are trained to be fake friendly and courteous to get a foot in the door, so be fake friendly back, but firm. "No personal disrespect I know you're doing what you've been asked to do, but I won't be able to assist you further and unless you have a warrant please leave your card/info on the porch and my legal counsel will contact you, good day". The two gun buys thing is dumb anyways, somebody can just as easily straw purchase with separate transactions/ffls so they don't get flagged.
I’ve been a Deputy Sheriff / major case detective for 38 years and I can DEFINITELY confirm that the ATF has a firearms database that law enforcement has access to and is used routinely .
Something else that Law Enforcement should never have access to.
They also have access too your medical records and Prescriptions…… also used quite routinely
I was a detective as well. They absolutely do. They also maintain the stolen firearms registry. It’s shameful that they frequently lie to Congress about this and nothing happens

Even better, don’t answer the door and engage with them.

When I worked in a gun store I would show clients that wanted to buy 2 handguns the form we would need to fill out and then ask them... But Mr Guns has more than once posted garbage from Anarchists and Sovereign Citizens who don't believe in any government AND believe in being criminals when it suits them. Mr Guns makes cool videos, but he's an Anarchist, which many people who haven't followed him for long enough don't know about him and just trust all his videos without question.
There is only one reason any law enforcement person is talking to you: gathering information to make an arrest. They aren't your friends. They are not 'on your side'.
Yeah unless you called them for some reason NEVER answer the door. Just go about your day
Can't I as a private citizen also be gathering information as well? I am extremely interested in that ream of papers that agent is carrying which seems like a firearm registry to me. Which would be in violation of Delaware state law Del. Code Ann tit. 24, § 904A(c) Which expressly prohibits, any agency, department or instrumentality thereof to establish any system for the registration of firearms, firearm owners, or firearm transactions or dispositions. It's a good thing there's a trooper there to arrest the agent. I would direct him to do so.

It's a sad fact that even the best police officers are, de facto, well-meaning hired thugs for the state. If fear of the disease was not enough to get us to comply, their back up plan was the loss of our livelihood. Then they decided on plan C-guilt. This is how it begins. In the 70's I had a couple friends from Czech., they told me how after WWII there were a lot of guns that had been acquired by people after the war.(From armies marching through their country, a lot of weapons were discarded or lost.) They said that the Soviet Union sent out "registration cards" where you were asked if you had any weapons and information about them. No big deal. Then after a while 3 NKV policemen showed up in a car and 2 went to the front door and one to the back. They then asked to see the weapons and if you said you didn't have them they asked where they were and sent one of them to go investigate your story while 2 of them stayed at your house. Did you notice that there were 3 law officers at this person's house? This is how it begins.

If these traitors keep pushing on with such illegal, seditious actions - at some point the people will have to resist decisively.
They are clearly testing waters before the mass disarming of the populace. We know for a fact, that if you sue them or they prosecute you - you won't get a fair trial in ANY large city or ANY federal court.
It may be the time to form regional militias - of course completely legally, almost to the point of paranoia. But be prepared.
When they will cross the unforgiving line, do not go like sheep to a slaughter...
"Why is the ATF able to do this?"
They are able to because normal people don't want confrontation and see multiple "officers" at their house and they want to comply.
This is JUST another form of bullying. This is here to let you know they own you, and to turn your neighbors against you.
If they are coming armed to your door based on such unconstitutional provisions, they are armed trespassers and should be engaged with lethal force. Im not sure id be able to hold myself if they actually verbalized that they came looking to check my right and property for compliance.
Not all Americans are intimidated
@@Aaron565 technically if they come armed and are trying to confiscate your weapons they are the Gestapo for a Nazi illegitimate government that makes them the enemy of the American people hopefully police officers are not going to do that because they're sworn to uphold the Constitution and most of the police officers have families and children I wouldn't think they would want to have their children and grandchildren growing up in a Nazi government

Good work guys
People are not required to speak to ATF agents without warrants!
Even with a warrant you do not have to let them enter your home.
How this guy was "flagged" for making the purchase and how the AFT was able to get this guy's contact information is... disturbing to say the least.
Big Brother is in fact, watching all of us.
Unfortunately we have all know for a while that the government keeps a database of firearms owners for "safety" reasons as they say. I still think he should have told them to piss off and never come back because they are infringing on his rights by being there without proper cause.
When you do your background check all your information is sent in they have everything they need to try and track you down
Well they have an illegal gun registry that's been made public... Of course they're going to use it.
Gun stores give them the info they gave the ATF my shit just because I went to the gun store with different people every time which is because I didn’t have a car so they were my family n friends who gave me rides.

Typical child toucher attitude with you folks 😂
Apparently, violating the Constitution's Bill of Rights is their job, meaning they are operating outside of America's law. By all means, TELL THEM TO GET OFF YOUR PROPERTY!
Activities like this need to be forced to go to the Supreme court.
It gets better. Delaware actually has a state law forbidding government agencies from keeping firearms registries. It's called Del. Code Ann tit. 24, § 904A(c) and it goes like this:
(c) Nothing in this section, or any other section of the Code, shall authorize or permit the State or any agency, department or instrumentality thereof to establish any system for the registration of firearms, firearm owners, or firearm transactions or dispositions, except with respect to persons prohibited from receiving a firearm as set forth in Chapter 5 of Title 11. Any such system of registration is expressly prohibited.
I'd be calling a lawyer real quick...any lawyer....
This is what police do daily, you're just upset because they're coming for something that you find important like gun ownership. We've been telling you all the police are not on our side but because they were just attacking minorities you didn't care until they're at your door violating your own rights.
Imagine growing up as an American, and joining law enforcement, and taking an oath to uphold the Constitution, and then acting like these 3 thugs. How do they sleep at night?!!
When I was a detective with my last municipal police department, we received notification that a local resident purchased seven firearms in one sale. I was like “so?” My sergeant agreed but the local ATF agent sends the notification to the law enforcement agency to assist with their investigation…I did not since my boss knew my stance on such matters 😁
But your brother officers did didn' t they? You cops ARE NOT our friends. You can't be trusted

Law enforcement through their unions have been in bed with the Democrats for years now. Too many officers are willing to sell out this country for a bloated paycheck and future retirement.

No search warrant? Please leave my property!
You have a right to remain innocent of saying something untrue you thought was true. Refuse to answer until allow anything until you can consult counsel. Let them know any search is against your will and 4th Amendment right to be secure in your person and property.
They do not have a warrant or probable cause for a warrantless search; tell them to go away. We are not obligated to prove our innocence.
BINGO! They are NOT your friends.
“You did nothing wrong” must be why they’re showing up to a dude’s house without a warrant
So let me get this straight the ATF can show up at your door if you legally buy 2 firearms or rifle and question you on your gun purchasing and use Scare tactics so you give away your property. That's so stupid and a waste of tax dollars.

This is also how they trace a gun.

Yes you are on a gun registry. Yes, if you buy more that one firearm in less than the span of 7 days this will flag you to the ATF as a potential “seller” of firearms; ask your FFL (they can provide you exact details). And Yes, there is a gun registry.
And if the 2 guns are handguns there is a separate form that goes to the chief law enforcement official of the area
Thank God for private sales!

I just watched a video the other day where someone said "The Police will never go door to door and collect people's guns" this is proof that they will and the cops are in fact willing to help them. They were spread out and they were all wearing tactical gear. This was intimidating as all get out. The supreme law of the land are laws that govern the government. They have laws to govern us, and they have armed and trained officers to enforce their laws on us. We have no possible means, short of revolution, to enforce our laws on the government. The only thing that has saved our asses for this long is the fact that our government was designed, by splitting the powers, to fight itself. That's not assault. That's unlawful entry, and is a blatant violation of your constitutional rights, period. Tell them they are not allowed inside your property, and order them to immediately leave your property because of it.

You Sir are absolutely correct in your assessment. If you notice they didn't come unarmed. They showed up in numbers and in the most intimidating appearance they could. This was to get the gun owner to comply and to get a feel if they would get lip service from any gun owners who were on their list(regardless if the agents were armed or not).

Yes straw purchases may not happen in affluent areas, but guns are more likely going to be purchased and sold in a nice area or by someone living in a nice area.
When a background check is made. Your name, dob, ssn, and address are on the same document with the firearm and serial number you are buying. If you believe they don’t keep track, you’re sadly mistaken.
Absolutely they have all that info. Think about it what happens when a gun is discovered ATF called the gun maker to find out what wholesaler they sold it to. Then they contact wholesaler who tells them retail store they sold it to. ATF then contacts retailer which MUST provide the info. It's simple to get all that info.
Additionally ATF goes to retail store to gather records and look at books which they take pictures of with cell phones.

In an ideal world, that headline would read: "ATF Attempt to Conduct Surprise Inspection at Man's Home without Warrant, Get Front Door Shut in their Faces"
In an ideal world, the fact that an ATF agent showed up at a person's door with no evidence of wrong-doing and had a list of that person's firearms and serial numbers (a de facto registry) would force a major lawsuit against the ATF.
