For anyone watching this, another tip is don’t over tighten anything!! Snug plus 1/4 turn with a wrench is more than enough for both the drain plug and the filter. I once had a shop do an oil change and later found out they used an impact driver to tighten the oil plug!! It totally stripped out the plug but luckily the oil pan itself was undamaged. Another reason to do it yourself!
