If you take plaster of Paris & mix it to paint consistency you can paint it on & fill the holes in the plaster cloth. I’ve also mixed 50/50 plaster of Paris & tile grout to paint consistency, this will give it some grit.
And we thank you for everything you share, I’ve learned some things I appreciate. This hobby is my passion I love it. Will catch you on the next one. Peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍
Just amazing what that little truck can do! I'm excited to see the final version with everything all tidy and buttoned up! Some killer upgrades, and another great video Adam! Thanks as always, take care!!!
Thanks for watching! I can’t wait to get the setup cleaned up and finished. What a tease seeing it all together and then having to rip it apart! I should have it corrected by next weekend though 👍🏻
It's so amazing how hard it pulls up the hills with the slower speed. Definitely opens up many more options for different lines. Interesting how you moved some of the weight to the rear by putting the battery in the back but it still has a really good hill climbing angle. Great video
Thank you! I so wish I could have kept the battery up front. The finished product will have it sitting down low in the middle I hope. And you’re right, the torque and control at low speed is unreal!
Very nice build. I just got caught up on this one. Waiting on my C10 to arrive from eBay and some other upgrade parts I have ordered. Seller mentioned they could not bind the vehicle to the remote so I am hoping it is just seller error as they are a reseller but I might be on the hunt for a V1 receiver/esc soon. For $50 I couldnt pass the C10 up though.
@@jimbo4203 Yes, definitely do. I bet with a decent motor you wont have any troubles. The Injora motors are good too. I like the purple Pro 50. Great, cost effective motor.
Great series. I bought my son this same bronco, and am already planning upgrades. One question, ( I'm not too tech savvy, so bare with me). To run this motor, do you have to upgrade the electronics like you? Or can the stock receiver and remote work?
Really am loving that low end control. What is up with that motor? I thought the Furitech motors were supposed to be silent. That is far from silent. Is it the gears?
I’ve been trying for years to get my brother involved with RC. He saw this video and said it was really cool and that he would like to have one. So, I got him one for Christmas and I bought myself the yellow Jeep also. Thank you for the video! So cool he’s finally getting involved with em….
For the bronco yes, you will need a new ESC and transmitter combo. V1 electronics from other model scx24's will work if you can find a used set somewhere. Flysky is a good option as well: cost effective and loaded with features.
That’s a good thought and would most likely free up a bunch of room. I’ve got a new furitek avatar setup on the bench so hopefully I can get the micro rx back in there how I initially had it
I've actually been extremely disappointed in Furitek products. I've had two faulty Lizard Pro ESCs back to back. And a faulty Komodo motor. Don't get me wrong, they work fantastic but for the price you pay, I would expect a high quality product. My first Esc had a short in the wire that connects to the battery, the second was wired in reverse and the motor had a short in it as well.
Man, I thought I was doing something wrong because I’ve struggled with many of their setups too. I don’t post a lot of the screw ups because I feel like it’s my fault but maybe not. I’ve burned up a handful of lizard pros for what felt like no fault of mine. Furitek has the market nearly cornered though. It’s great to see mofo RC coming out with great brushless setups but we need more entrants into the space!
I agree. If my current setup fails again, or maybe if I decide to go another route, I'll be going with MofoRC and their product. I absolutely love their wheel design. One another note though. Post the mess ups. We as a community love to see each other's mistakes it's how we can learn from one another.
I had defective lizard pro as well, wont run brushed mode. Amainhobbies sent another one for free but same problem. The brushed motor cogs and sputters. Then Furitek communicated with Furitekusa and sent me a free iguana pro. I dont even want to buy brushless motors for the lizard pros because it was so frustrating. Mofo is great but his brushless motor mounts are 3d printed not aluminum. I also wanted to get the Avatar but feared more problems, headaches and screaming bad words.
For their vehicles or in general? I found that the taillights and door hinge stickers on my other rigs started peeling early and looked pretty bad. I would lobby for better decals across the board!

Holy slow-crawl batman! 😳 Man that brushless system is sick! Nice!
It’s epic. Total game changer for these things!

Great tips! The grout mix is genius!
Yeah nice driving, new course looking cool. I’ll be watching as it progresses appreciate it as always you sharing your videos
Thank you! I should have the course build video up by Wednesday
4K Congrats!!! We appreciate you doing this - great content again and again. Thanks Adam!
Thank you, I appreciate the support!

Just watched the whole series. Great videos. Thanks for putting this out I learned a ton.
Thanks for watching! We’ve got one video left !
You did it! Ultimate build man. Digging the vids
Thank you! I appreciate it! We aren’t done yet though 😊

Love the chassis setup,I wish this had a 3d printed 66 Bronco Body.
Thanks! Oohhh that body would be awesome.
that is one tiny receiver holy cow!!
SUPER small, which is great for saving space!
R.I.P the 50$/week budget 😂
Good lord! Wow, nice crawl!
Thanks for watching!
Unbelievable how slow those wheels turn. New course looks great. I guess a comp build series wouldn’t be complete without a competition. Haha.
It’s wild to see the motor start to spin up before the wheels even visibly move. Brushless motors are fascinating to me

Great builds and video. I do believe that FM2 RC did. Bind Avatar, but not sure with which receiver. He could help, maybe.
Thanks! Yes, I saw Matt’s video. He made it look so easy! I’ve got another transmitter on order but I’ll keep messing with this one in the meantime.
Amazing. Its my dream now.

@@CapeCrawlers I thought so too! Wouldn’t happen to have a spare v1 receiver would you? Help you recoup some costs. 😂
@@wheelbarrow2803 I might have one soon. I'll get back to you!
Yeah I’ll watch for that take it to a Event
your next build other than the deadbolt should be an ultra24 from lgrp!
I’d like to do a ripper build!
Would you need a new transmitter once you switch to brushless?
Depends which model you have. The new V3 Spektrum electronics can incorporate an external esc. The V2 (blue case) cannot and will need to be replaced
I just burned out 2 motors in a month, not sure what to try next ? I wish there was a go to option that was more durable
What motors are you using? Mofo RC has some carbon brushed motors that are good for longevity.
A stock motor and a 10 dollar Amazon one , but I'll check them out

Love the komodo!

Slick haircut
Thanks! I cut it myself 👍🏻
What slots did you plug them into the stock esc? I cannot get mine to move the motor. Servo moves but nothing else and I’m lost
Ch2 is the one you use for the external esc, right next to the servo.
How do you balance and storage charge the tiny battery
I’ve got a balance charger that I got from Amain hobbies. It does a great job: very fast and safe 👍🏻
Still that was awesome

Yes gears and driveshafts I believe

Just subscribed to your channel:) Were you able to resolve the furitek avatar issue? If so, what was the fix? Many thanks!
to do this conversion do I need to replace transmiter?
For the bronco yes, you will need a new ESC and transmitter combo. V1 electronics from other model scx24's will work if you can find a used set somewhere. Flysky is a good option as well: cost effective and loaded with features.
What if you would’ve flipped the motor around with the transmission and just ran the transmitter in reverse for the fitment
That’s a good thought and would most likely free up a bunch of room. I’ve got a new furitek avatar setup on the bench so hopefully I can get the micro rx back in there how I initially had it
What is that foam board you have there I'm looking to make my own course
Here's a video I did on building my course including the materials I used: ruclips.net/video/I8uidVXdLkg/видео.html

Thanks! These are LGRP gripper tires with Flubberstufferz inserts. Great combo!
Dude, you should try one of those RC4WD small scale trucks, think it's 1/18 scale? I'm not sure, but u've been looking at those for awhile now. Lol
I was looking at those at the hobby shop on Friday. I haven’t heard much about them, good or bad, but it may be worth experimenting with!

Can you do a trx-4 bronco build maybe.
I've got a black TRX4M on order. I will be doing lots of videos on that!

For 3s I run the spektrum 300mah. For 2s I run the eco power 450mah

Edit: I found it
The c10 isn’t done either! At some point I’ll pick that back up and do something outrageous to it
