I think if you add some hex extenders with the patty weights in the front it should give you enough width for the big body. IMO I like the bigger body, its different, fits the color scheme and doesnt look bad with the duallys. maybe cut that wing thing in the back and add a spare mount in the back, then some fender flares would be cool. its definitely got potential.
Just bought the MEUS 6x6 chassis. That dang Furitek Cayman got me wanting a 1:24 6x6 but just can't afford 1 right now. I've got plenty of spare parts to build a similar brushed version though. I'm also going to give 4ws a go. I'd still love a Cayman some day but my current plan should hold me over until I can afford that $360 price tag.
Nice build Ken, definitely a tricky one to find a body for but the one you chose was actually pretty good. I haven't run mine with proper tyres yet although I did put jlu front links on the rear so I can put the larger tyres on.
Nice!! For tires, I’m doing something kinda weird. I’m actually going to put slightly larger tires on all around except for the 4 inner rears…. Lol. If I go bigger they really rub, sooo I’m gonna stagger larger on the outside and slightly smaller on the inside. We will see how dumb it is. Hahha
and as poised as shorter shocks may be, i think with the width you need to let this thing stretch a little with some extended ones. Or maybe the carisma shocks, something a little longer.
I think it looks good awesome build!! I like the body your right gotta widen the front and maybe some lgrp swamp kings or something meaty like that for tires ?
@@TheShopMiniRC good point lol even just widening the front will be good already looks awesome digging the different body great indepth videos I appreciate you keep up the amazing work!
That’s looking awesome dude dang it, yeah I just went to the link to Their website I would like to buy everything all at once one complete kit. I have to wait a little bit anyways
what size links do you use for the very rear if you dont buy it all at once? im gonna use the c10 links i imaging the front links would work for the very rear too but idk
@@TheShopMiniRC There is, but that also opens up lots of issues with parts integrating, missing pieces of the puzzle that you have to buy later, plus the cost difference. lol
I respectfully think there’s way too much red on that thing and it’s ugly. I don’t know why you would put dually on a crawler. Absolutely makes no sense. Good job I guess.

The spare tire idea will probably look damn good. We also did add some hex extenders. I’d like to try and find something just a tad wider still.
Super cool dude, watching now 5:58 PM Thursday evening
Hope you enjoyed it!
Preach it sensi!! Very cool rig. Nobody got that goodness.
Thanks my dude!!
Think that body looks pretty cool get some plus 6mm spaces for the front wheels and I'd imagine it'd be pretty neat.
Yeah, we threw some spacers on there and it definitely helped.

The cayman is amazing. It’s really about the electronics. But the Meus chassis is fantastic and awesome to do your own custom build with for sure!!
Yes they do they look super cool 👍👍😎
Dang it I like it 😁👍👍😎 appreciate you sharing catch you on the next one until then peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍😎

There’s definitely not enough market for it but stubby axles meant for duallys would be cool to see.
That would be awesome.
To be fair, you could just use some Injora +4 front axles or the super 8 fronts.
I built that chassis recently, I paired it with an rcawd forward mounted 370 and gear box
How are you liking it?
Yeah I use the green slime inside my shocks just enough to lubricate I use a toothpick works great
Sure does!!

That might not be a bad idea.

Yeah, we just have to be careful to not go too big or we will have a ton of running. But def need to widen the front.

Yeppers.
Yeah $16.99 just ordered one super cool
I wonder how it would look with the FCX24 Power wagon body and make some kind of flatbed for it yeah I have some thoughts 😁👍👍
Yeah, just seems to be the common way to build em.
Yeah that looks pretty awesome actually, like you said widen the front wheels it would be Looking sweet
I started watching this and realized we have different basis mine is atlas and axial Frankenstein this chassis is cool 🤔got me thinking 🔥🔥😎👍
Ahh yep. This is all Meus Racing!!

It all depends on the chassis and how much space you want between the rear axles. Jlu fronts are probably a good choice.
what axle dually axle shafts are you running?
They are Meus.
@@TheShopMiniRC thanks so much!!!!! you are so awsome!!!
You that would work for the Fms Atlas 6x6
Not sure, I don’t have one. I think the FMS atlas is a bit bigger.

I wish they would go back to kits in RC and not everything RTR!
There is enough aftermarket support to make your own kits! Lol

It’s not for everyone. It was more of a fun project. We have 70+ mini crawlers…. This is just one of MANY.
