I love this thing. Honestly inspired my bronco build. I’d like to thing mine is setup very similiar to yours yet doesn’t seem to handle quite as well as yours.
Man the Bronco has come a long way! That event was really cool, congratulations on your victories! I really enjoyed this series building along with you, my Bronco is so much better now for it. Thanks for another great video Adam, take care!!!
Great video and congrats on winning! The only thing missing on the bronco build is to tidy the wires up a bit but otherwise amazing and inspiring build!
Just watched all the Bronco videos. I had to figure out a housewarming gift for my nephew. 3 SCX24 Broncos 3 upgrade servos Kyosho crawl tiles My boy loved it and his roomie got 1 too. Upgrades are coming together We all get... -brass F diff cover -alloy F Axle -alloy servo mount -alloy shocks -alloy steering links -brass skid -SS hi-clearance 4 links -brass knuckles -steel wheels with F brass rings -PL Hyrax tires Mine will get a few more leftovers from my parts box just because. Thanks for sharing your progress. 👍
What a nice end to the Build Series. I watched them all and took a few ideas on what i would like to achieve. Thanks for explaining and showing things so clearly!
An amazing transformation for the Bronco. I am in the process of ordering the parts for these upgrades on my red Bronco. Congratulations on the win. Really enjoy following you here as well as Instagram. Thanks for all you do for the RC world.
I appreciate the support! This bronco build was my favorite build I think. It was so fun to be able to share it with the community from start to finish.
The FCX 24 power wagon yeah just got from Treal there are aluminum transmission casing purple they have other colors, waiting on the steel gears from FMS it’s going in my grim reaper, well we’ll catch on the next one piece and chicken grease 😁😁👍👍😎
Broncos looking awesome, love my little red bronco it is 94% mofo RC all of his brass parts, I have thought about looking at a set of those axles housings. Appreciate you Sharing will catch you on the next one
Man what an awesome series, and channel. I have been thinking of grabbing one of these for so long, and I finally grabbed a bronco that Santa will bring me for Christmas haha. I love the added details of the hardbody offers. I will be referencing all of these vids when moving forward with mine, and the prices for all the parts is a welcome surprises as I am currently rebuilding and upgrading a vintage Team Associated T2… wow, that’s gets expensive.
Great video as always. Definitely some of the best 1/24 scale content. My OCD appreciates the structured aspect of the vids. I like the bronco, but snaggletooth is right on. Pins and 4ws for the win!
what a sick hobby shop, man I wish we had something like that in western WA congrats on the win! love the channel and I fully blame you for getting me into small scale crawling 😅
Nice, you just came up on recommended... I live on the Cape as well and race at Wreckless... Just got back into RC after 30 years or so away. I'm just into 1/10th scale carpet racing right now but I like these mini crawlers and such. I was going to go to the event but ended up not making it. Nice channel you got going on here!
IDK if you've seen yet, but Treal released a brass, and aluminum extended link set with driveshaft for the FCX, as well as brass hub extensions, and aluminum servo horns for stock servos.
@@CapeCrawlers Just saw them today, myself. I ordered all of it, and I'll try to make a video about them when I get them. I will also be putting out a video tomorrow on a powerhobby 48mm/treal shock hybrid for the FMS. Didn't get to finish today before work.
I love your rigs definitely inspiring me to build one like yours as you can see mine in my profile picture not as articulated as yours but still super fun I'm from Plymouth Mass my brother lives in Wareham currently live in San Diego thanks again for making the sweet videos keep up the good work have a cool day
Outstanding Bronco CC! With all those part I’m surprised you use the stock plastic skid and didn’t give it the red injora skid to go with the injora red links I feel you’ve done a lot with the SCX24 trucks so I would like to see you build a 24 scale buggy Congratulations on 1st place! 🎉
Thank you! I honestly never thought about the skid. It would be a nice finishing touch though! I would also like to do a buggy, possibly a mini rock bouncer!
Just an idea for content. You can do a video putting the stock fcx24 portal axles on the new 1/18 scale jeep you got as a price. That let's you other links and shocks to upgrade that jeep. I have one and it's one of the best electronics of that 1/18 scale line up. Looking forward to content on that jeep.
That's a great idea. I honestly never even thought about modifying this new one, but since it's made by FMS I can see the opportunities available for parts swapping.
Great vid series. Took quite a bit from this. Might have to take a ride to Wareham sometime and check out that hobby shop. I went to one in Fitchburg a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't a great experience but I'd give them another go at some point. Wareham is a bit of a haul for me, but looks like it might be worth the trip.
I wish my country had events like this, all the stuff I like, drifting, crawling.. do you have issues with the bronco doing vertical climb? What’s the sharpest angle you can climb with it?
I haven't measured it's maximum, but I estimate it's somewhere around 55 degrees. It can climb the chute on my indoor course, which tops out at 52 degrees. It struggles on vertical obstacles like rock ledges because it will flop over backwards in those situations.
Hey brother, I’m looking for some advice. I ordered the bronco SCX24, injora beadlocks with tires, topcad brass +5 mm hex counterweights, emax analog servo with metal arm and tray, aluminum injora steering links and 2x 11g diff covers. I’m going for a beginner crawler build. I’m planning to do high clearance links, motor, axles, and brass wheel inserts in a few months once this initial build gets boring. Shopping for shocks now too
I like to see what you could do with the TS1 chassis, it’s 3d printed. You can buy it printed or the stl file f print it yourself. It’s designed to use a JLU but my buddy build his with a Deadbolt. It comes with links so really doesn’t matter what you start with. I’m building mine using a Proline Powerwagon body. Pretty interesting design. I saw the little guy eyeing the monster trucks did he get a new one?
I keep running into servo vs frame rails binding. I'm thinking, nip the frame, body mount the bumper. ? But that might require body clips, not magnets/velcro. Thoughts?
Have you trimmed the ears on the servo? You shouldn’t have to trim the frame itself. Clipping the servo ears and sanding them down worked for my builds. The bronco stuck pretty bad initially
Here’s my problem I got 42 mm suspension took out the springs. Relocated them to the chassis then put 60 mm injpra wheels with injpra snap 1.0 rims but the wheels rub and make a clickigg sound -- do I need to fix it -- if I do how.
Clicking sound could be the tires hitting the bumpers. I had to swap out my front bumper for a small one and trim my rear one because I was getting major rub/binding on the bumpers.
Only if I have them too tight or if the screw holes aren't sufficiently big enough to allow for free movement. Sometimes they would stick and then suddenly release. Not sure if that's what you're experiencing. But if they're dialed in, I feel like they work fine.
@@CapeCrawlers Thank you for your response. Personally I found them to unload unexpectedly and caused me to flop over. I will work with them some more and see if I can get them to work. Thanks again.

I’ve been waiting for this comp video 😂
Thank you
I'll put some more content up from the comp this weekend!
Awesome video the scx6 was sick and your crawlers look better in person can’t wait till the next crawl event and for your next video
Thanks, I appreciate it! I was totally in love with that SCX6. It even had the same wheels as my 1:1 Gladiator!

Awesome video, Adam!
That SCX6 Gladiator looked pretty dope! 💪🏻😎
Thanks! It was an awesome rig! I was totally in love with it. If it had been blue I would have been begging him to sell it!

Congrats on the win Adam! Nice run with the Bronco, looked like a great time. You had me at "Ware-Ham" 😎

Sounds like a fantastic start! Happy to help any way I can!
Hey Adam love your videos! What shock spacers are you running? I can’t mount my shocks to the frame without bending them with my super 8’s.
Thanks! These are from Grizzly works RC on Etsy. The flex extensions he makes come with the spacers and thats what I am using here.
I like to see what you could do with the TS1 chassis, it’s 3d printed. You can buy it printed or the stl file f print it yourself. It’s designed to use a JLU but my buddy build his with a Deadbolt. Do you have a link to that chassis? No new monster trucks for Axel, but Christmas is coming, so we’ll see!
I drove mine Friday night for the 1st time. It handled amazing well with very few mods.
I keep running into servo vs frame rails binding. I'm thinking, nip the frame, body mount the bumper. ? But that might require body clips, not magnets/velcro.

Have you trimmed the ears on the servo? You shouldn’t have to trim the frame itself. Clipping the servo ears and sanding them down worked for my builds. The bronco stuck pretty bad initially
@@CapeCrawlers nipped the ears asthma night. I'm going to lube it next run. Haha
Do you ever sell any of your RC trucks? I would like to buy this Bronco to match my red 1/10 Bronco. Great stuff.
Occasionally I do. I may sell some this winter to make space for new projects. I’ll put up a post if/when I do

Great job fella. What size/type slymeballz inserts did you use?
Thanks! V33 for the inserts. 62mm I believe
@@CapeCrawlers Thanks & Happy Holiday's fella!
Would a 1:76 scale crawler be possible?
(4wd, good torque and suspension travel, etc..)
Edit: I know I probably have to build that by myself
I’ve seen enough in this hobby to know that anything is possible!
how much money do you think you spent on the bronco over all?
Oh gosh.. that’s a loaded question! Probably $800 including the rig
How do you stop chassis twist from the torque of the komodo? I build an almost identical setup and it twists the chassis pretty bad.
With no springs in it and sitting bottomed out it doesn't twist too terribly. But stiffening up the suspension and/or links can help mitigate that
Do you find that the flex blades unload unexpectedly?
Only if I have them too tight or if the screw holes aren't sufficiently big enough to allow for free movement. Sometimes they would stick and then suddenly release. Not sure if that's what you're experiencing. But if they're dialed in, I feel like they work fine.
