Great video but I think at this price point it would be nice to have a PBT doubleshot and a less rattly stabilizers.

Stabs are pretty easy to fix with some lube.

@@SwizzlesVideo Yeah I know. But at this price point it should be better.

It's a bit frustrating nobody ever mentions that the adjustable actuation keys are magnetic mechanical and not standard type of mechanical. This makes a massive difference. About 4-7ms latency, similar to varmillo EC mechanical switches (5-10ms)

Very clear and understandable review. I like it.

the legs collapse when you push the keyboard *pushes the keyboard back and forth and nothing happens*

I wish they would have compared the latency of the lowest and highest pre-travel setting.

ABS keycaps and still pretty poor stabilisers for $160? Yikes.

what do you think about Fnatic STREAK65?

Not all the keys switches are Omnipoint key switches. Else it would have been my favorite keyboard. I don't want different key switches on my keyboard.

TKL is awesome. this is an amazing keyboard. Lubed the stabs with a brush (huge improvement). Keycaps have excellent font and shine through, but feel terrible, switched to a set of Tai-Hao for most of the keys. USB pass through lights up, and is very useful and used constantly for thumb drives and cable for smartwatch . Haven't found a better dual purpose board yet.

can it use the analog feature? Like soft press makes character walk and deep presses makes it run?

    • @RTINGSdotcom
      @RTINGSdotcom  Год назад +2

Unfortunately, it cannot. However, some thing like the Wooting one may be worth considering as it does have analog inputs! www.rtings.com/keyboard/reviews/wooting/one

another question, does the oled screen show the caps lock/numpad etc indicators?

    • @RTINGSdotcom

Yes, you should have the option to customize it and have it display the caps lock/numpad indicator if you play around with the settings!

Absolute joke of a keyboard. Hundreds of complaints about ghost inputs and broken software on Reddit with countless people saying multiple RMA's didn't even address the issues. Meanwhile Steelseries making zero attempts to fix their busted software. Avoid at all costs and get a Wooting.

Some bold marketing claims, advertising "first-of-its-kind adjustable mechanical keyswitches". Pretty sure others have beaten them to that punch

This was first patented by them 6+ years ago. This keyboard is not brand new.

What keyboard allows you to adjust the actuation? I'm genuinely curious because I'm trying to decide whether to go with this or not, and this was a neat selling point.

@@ChibiQilin this keyboard does it best. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it really depends what you play. I play a lot of osu! So being able to find the perfect point is great for me and I also play a lot of apex which is great to set keys like reload and my tactic led to need more pressure than say wsad. That being said these keys do not have the traditional feel of a mechanical tactile key with a bump and they are very linear. It can take some time to get used to for sure but I do enjoy the keyboard. Switched from a Corsair k65 mini with silver speed switches (and a keypad for osu with red switches) to this and it was a great choice. If you can find this keyboard at $150 or under and grab some of the steelseries pudding key caps it’s well worth it.
