To check whether you made the right choice? It's freaking' hard to do with about 12 million keyboards on the market. I may go back to writing in long hand.
I changed my G910 for this one because I had the double tapp problem (I had two G910 in 4 years, the first model and the second) both got the problem after 2 years, I will never buy a Logitech keyboard again. This one is amazing, I love it so far, very sobre and smooth, nice review.
I had problems even with logitech g series mouse in less than a years,No matter how expensive they all seem to have double clicking/scrolling issue....

So I just bought one of these on Amazon and it arrives tomorrow. My Razer keyboard from my old Windows PC isn't fully compatible with my new Apple Mac computer and I absolutely hate the feel and touch of the Apple keyboard. I can hardly type anything without an error of some sort. Your review is great and now I can't wait until it arrives. The programmability of the Apex 5 appears to be far superior to the Razer. Thanks for your thoroughness.
I bought this keyboard and here is what I think: - The wrist rest leaves big marks on the keyboard - non-existent anti-ghosting - key that resets even when held down ~1 year of usage
I really want volume buttons on my keyboard. I've have keyboards with and without and I truly miss them when I don't have them on my keyboard. So I'm on the fence about buying this one.
Great video Sir, I'm watching it for a second time as I purchased this keyboard yesterday online. I want to pair it with my new Alienware R16 gaming PC . It will replace my faithful DBPower RGB Gaming Keyboard. nothing wrong with it,just want something new.
"We saved costs on the inside of the board by replacing the traditional gold-plated circuits with a super-durable membrane actuation." But how does that affect durability? No matter how "super-durable" a membrane is, it doesn't last as long as mechanical contacts.
Actually it lasts just as long, the main ssues with membrane keyboards is their domes soften and makes the board super mushy and you have to bottom out the key for it to actuate, the actual sensor can typically last 70+ million key strokes. The SteelSeries uses a membrane style sensor with a mechanical punch instead of a dome. If you were to do a blind test you'd think it was mechanical. The keys feel, sound, and actuate, like a lower end blue switch keyboard. Which is basically what it is
@@DeliriousDrifter but steelseries said the apex3 is 20 million press life, apex5 is 20 million press life too. How can you say the apex5 life is durable ?

@@Eyskapz "almoast a month" how can you say something is durable after one month? Makes no sense either dude. I had my last keyboard for 8 months then I reallized the manufacturer made some crucial mistakes. And he accepted it back without any questions. He was just glad that they now knew what their mistakes where. So you cant tell me after a month it is very dureable. If you still have it in 2 years than you can write how durable it is but not now. I have some of my equitment for 5 years now (for example hyperX cloud headset) It still looks like new and works perfectly fine. Also the soundquality etc. is still good compared to newer ones. Can you please tell me how is the key resistance of the apex 5? I had apex 7 cherry red but the keys had absolutely no resistance. You would press a key just by resting your hand on the keyboard.
i think the keyboard ends up being useless as i don't feel much change and will end up miss inputting by a slight finger spaz. it just a more sensitivity keyboard with more travel on the keys so you either move slower or stop slower
a pro has is fasterr response keyboard and the switches are adjustment switches easier words the pro sounds better while clicking and its really responsive and all the gaming pros use it
