I really love watching Rosie's PS Access journey. When she started all brand new (slightly nervous), and look now. She's squabbling with Rob like they've been siblings their whole lives. You absolutely love to see it!
I don't know what is more scary. The unhinged stuff Rob and his sister were up to in their childhood (just thinking of the Taxi game for instance). Or the possibility that Rob doesn't even have a sister and the stories he told all these years were just a figment of his imagination.
Great video Rob, my brother passed away a few months ago & we were both big gamers & the points you made through the video brought back some funny memories especially the part about memory card overwriting so thank you.
Follow-up video: 7 Problems Only-Child Gamers will understand 1. Playing co-op platformers (i.e. Little Big Planet) using both controllers 2. Being surprised when real people are actually better than you in fighting/racing games. 3. Limited gaming library due to only getting games on your one birthday every year. 4. Not having a younger sibling to do the "EXP grinding" for you 5. Having to play with your gaming-inept parents 6. Not having an older sibling to purchase the "M-rated" games for you. 7. Playing horror games in the dark all by yourself.....
as the younger sibling, I will tell you THE WORST PROBLEM and its a sad one really... when your older sibling becomes "too mature and too old" to play video games, oh I can still remember playing smash bros on the N64 when we where little and by the time the game cube rolled out it was just a one player adventure..any way hope you enjoyed my little nostalgia trip and see you next friday!
I didn't have a sibling who played games, but I had a son who did (and does as an adult). When we'd play, say, Baldur's Gate together, he'd always dash over for the best loot--the weapons or shields or whatever that were a step up over what he and I had. I always let him, too.
When you find every game disc on the floor in a pile scratched and parents give you the "you have to share speech" which quickly changes when you tell them a few games that cost £40 each are now broken.
I have two brothers. I'm in my 30s. I never did entry 2, and it never occurred to me to do so. It sounds like it would have been super funny, and I regret wasting my childhood.
My younger brother got to a boss fight in some late 90s game, freaked out and begged me to beat it for him. I'd never played, didn't even know the controls and lost in about 10 seconds. The look of disgust on his face is still etched into my brain.
A variation of number 5 on this video: "If the game can be played by 2 players then the older sibling (sometimes the younger too but its GUARANTEED as the older sibling) has to play coop with their younger sibling, regardless if they want to or not"
God I love these Friday features lol. It’s like comfort food at this point P.S. Is the Games Meister series still a thing? Because my goodness did the Tower Knight one have me in actual tears 😂😭
My 2 year old exactly with astro bot 😂 I let him roam around the main hub he has fun but the constant pressing of triangle is getting annoying fast 🤣 he even watches whole playthrough on youtube, can't wait to teach him properly to play. Another ace video Rob 👍🏼
me and my little brother did more than just write over saves we used to delete them! On the old Game boy colour we played the Zelda games (oracle of seasons/ages) a lot, and when we were annoyed with each other. We would delete the saves. Especially when they were completed games including all the cross-over items
Fortunately for me my sister wasn't nearly as into gaming as me. My parents got her an Atari 2600 when I was little and she just never took a liking to it so when I was about five years old she gave it to me. Thanks sis! Also Rob is the older brother in the PlayStation Access family, that's cannon now and Rosie is the little sister who annoys Rob.
Absolutely love this channel.will definitely be messaging with my wife's crash bandicoot save.😂Videos are always funny and great to watch and make me proud to own a playstation. Are you proud of the jumper you wore in this video Rob! Are you....or did you lose a bet.😂😂😂
I'll never forget that time where my brother had been sneak playing Assassin's Creed one late at night and hadn't managed to be caught UNTIL he beat the game and it auto saved over the slot with the end game cut scene. He'd been using my saves as a launching point the whole time. We laugh about it now, but I was PISSED at the time because it absolutely ruined the last 3 hours of the game for me.
No co-op fighting over enemies, loot, personal space of the characters? “I’m fighting this guy, get away from me.” “I needed that health! You were only down one hit, I’m almost dead!” Double Dragon, Contra, Ultimate Alliance… Sure, you might argue over that with friends, but siblings take it to another level.
I get it, but only by feeling and not from an experiece. Me and my sister used to play a lot of Musou games such Sengoku Basara and Samurai Warriors. Despite that, I have a big age gap with her (14 years) and when we started playing those games she was around 10 and both us knew how to support each other. Probably because of our big age gap.
I didn't have actual siblings, but I did have two cousins and the three of us ACTED like siblings. Especially where the video game console was concerned. I've experienced pretty much all of these, yes even both sides of the needing help with a game bit.
This week’s list hit me twice: once because I experienced most of those things as a kid with my brother, and twice because I’m now seeing all of these things play out with my own children 😅
As the youngest of three brothers I have been through those struggles. My ultimate revenge was saving up all my allowance and birthday money to buy a PS1 that was all MINE and I didn't have to share!
I remember playing one of the Commander Keen games with my little brother. We had agreed to take turns, switching when we had a game over. I had discovered a level where I could grind lives. I had saved up 20 or so, feeling very clever. I was never going to get a game over now, I could just keep playing! My brother didn't think it was clever, he thought it was unfair. My parents sided with my brother, sadly. Also, I am the oldest of three, but I didn't have the whole "born as player one" thing. Except for Sonic 2. Nobody wanted to be player two Tails.
I’m the only son and I have 3 younger sisters who are all much more capable of adulthood than me! Yet, when we were kids, we had a Wii that we shared, but Every PlayStation console I ever had along with the PS5 I have right now are all mine! I never had to share any of my PlayStations with my sisters! 😊
Thankfully in my household we all had our own computers and games and if we had a console you had to buy it yourself. I did pay my younger sister chips and a soda to beat a boss to me in a game with both finished. No my proudest moment. Though now we hardly game together because our tastes are so different. I want to play BG3 but she hated turn based. She wants to play Elden Ring and Dark Souls but I cry like a babe during Souls-Like games.
An issue I had is that my siblings are much younger than me. 14 years younger actually. And When I was 18 and played Bayonetta I just couldn't play it sometimes because at the time we had a TV only at the living room so obviously I couldn't have shown them this erotic game when they were four.
I am the middle child of five siblings. Sharing a game or console was always a bloodbath. My sister especially would twist my arm about being able to play on the console and why i should let her bc it's 'the family's' console... only when we tried using the same logic on her, it would result in her throwing a tantrum. The other issue we always had was siblings taking disks out of the consoles and leaving them on the floor instead of putting them back in the box. But god forbid i do the same to them. Little sister scratched my copy of mega man legends and i had to sit there and take it. But then i accidentally dropped her copy of harry potter and suddenly i was a monster.
My partner, Emma loves helping me out when I'm having problems in my game. Emma on the other hand knows not to ask me to help with the current Emma's game (this is any game that a member of PlayStation Access would play) she playing as I'm more a hindrance then a help.
To be honest I have never had these problems with my sister, she is older but never really been interested in gaming, she does play when she wants but she has never really been interested.
One time, my older brother deleted my save file in Unreal Tournament (he still claims it was by mistake, but I don't believe him, lol). So, in retaliation, I naturally deleted his Final Fantasy 8 save file (he was about 50 hours in) 😆
I'm the oldest in my siblings and friends. So I'm that guy. And when they need my help they have to ask in a curtain way. Hello King PlayStation. I come to you for your help in a battle. And how I feel. Depends on the king's help.
My only problem with sharing a game with my older brother is his progression rule. I can play his game while he was at work but i can't beat the game before him. Whereever he stopped I must stop. So if he never finished the game neither did I.
No Sibling. All the consoles are mine. All the games are mine. All the time is mine. All the space is mine. All the trophies/achievements are mine. I feel no jealousy. No anger. No pain. Everything is like a calm blue lake with the best water graphics.
I have 3 siblings. And it was actually pretty awesome when my sister achieved some trophies when I let her to play Detroit Become Human around a year ago. You are missing a lot. I have so much fun with my siblings.
I was gifted a psp, but no memory card. My older brother bought one for us to use. When he got mad at me, he would take the card with all the saves so I couldn't play. However, I still did and didn't let him play since the psp was mine xD
This was a missed opportunity for Rob's Sister to make a cameo appearance. Maybe we'll see her in the comments again. I'm still 50/50 on whether that was her last time.
I was lucky that my sisters lost interesting in gaming after the snes era. I did have to share consoles with my dad for a while, but then he bought a pc. PlayStation was all mine! Whahaha! My precious!
Ive been lucky enough to be a bit older than my siblings (9 and 10 years older) so Ive generally never had these problems. I introduced them to gaming and me loving co op games I always made sure to give them that kind of game for xmax/birthdays so we could play together. Me being a popular borther meant they took turns playing with me so win win Id say :p
I am a younger sibling and i dont think i actually asked my big brother for help for doing hard parts in games for me it was just probably i wanted to figure it out myself for example like fighting the boss in tekken i forget the name but had a mouth on his stomach and when trying to open the doors to get to carnage in ultimate spiderman was somewhat difficult for some reason
My little sister literally broke my ps1 by running in the house after being told not to. She tripped and fell right on it! I had no console until the ps2 dropped in price like 3 years later 😢
Corrupting that save card is the Robert S Pearson villian origin
I really love watching Rosie's PS Access journey. When she started all brand new (slightly nervous), and look now. She's squabbling with Rob like they've been siblings their whole lives. You absolutely love to see it!
That final, simulated argument with Rosie and Robb was far too realistic.
I don't know what is more scary. The unhinged stuff Rob and his sister were up to in their childhood (just thinking of the Taxi game for instance).
Or the possibility that Rob doesn't even have a sister and the stories he told all these years were just a figment of his imagination.
the latter, DEFINITELY THE LATTER
😮 goosebumps
Robert SISTER Pearson!
Great video Rob, my brother passed away a few months ago & we were both big gamers & the points you made through the video brought back some funny memories especially the part about memory card overwriting so thank you.
I'm so sorry for your loss. And I'm so glad that the vid brought back some good memories.
@@AWren-mh2zx Thank you very much, it was a much needed video today as I needed a good laugh!

I've thought I've seen it all. But Robbs Bane- impression was just way too good!
I didn't have a sibling who played games, but I had a son who did (and does as an adult). When we'd play, say, Baldur's Gate together, he'd always dash over for the best loot--the weapons or shields or whatever that were a step up over what he and I had. I always let him, too.
Your Bane references/impressions were spot on. Yes, the sibling rivalry rises.
10:23 That slight shoulder lift and the closing of the mouth by Rob, absolutely makes that skit. Laughed so much at that! 😆
I can totally believe Rob and Rosie are capable of arguing like that now 🤣
10:01 Haha that last one was brill and quite accurate. half expected Rob and Rosie to burst out crying 😂😂
I half expected Dave to sing " I love Robert S Pearson...."
Rob just gathering more "praise rob" songs at every opportunity
DO YOU FEEL LIKE PLAYER ONE? *puts hand on shoulder 🤣🤣🤣
That was line of the year haha
5:34 Dave has no chill😂😂😂😂😂
10:07 not actually acting 😂😂😂oh man yall aint kidding on this one. Also as an American friend lets just say I needed that laugh and thanks.
Would love to hear Rosie and Caddy's tales of this lol 2 siblings go to war on CRASH BANDICOOT!!
You mean Cash Banooka?
When you find every game disc on the floor in a pile scratched and parents give you the "you have to share speech" which quickly changes when you tell them a few games that cost £40 each are now broken.

That Bane segment was brilliant. "What the hell is he doing?" 🤣
My younger brother got to a boss fight in some late 90s game, freaked out and begged me to beat it for him. I'd never played, didn't even know the controls and lost in about 10 seconds. The look of disgust on his face is still etched into my brain.

Are.... are you two ACTUALLY brother and sister?
That was uncanny!...
Last entry is so real. Plus, I love the S.T.A.R.S. sweater Rossi's wearing👍
Anyone else steadily gained more fondness for Hardy’s Bane over the years? Seems like Rob has lol. Me as well!
Literally been impersonating that exact line of dialogue for the past couple of years to myself every now and again
Still can't understand most of what he says in the movie but it's great for impressions!
That Bane voiceover was spot on!
Moving out as adults and having to split the consoles. I got the SNES and PS2, he got the N64 and PSX.
Win win for both of you I guess ok probably for you because you got a PS2 but if you had games like perfect dark and quake 2 on N64 it would have hurt
@AzfarZahid-k6w goldeneye, OOT, etc.
20 years on I'm still the better gaming sibling
Awesome jumper Rosie. Maybe you can give Rob some fashion tips.
God I love these Friday features lol. It’s like comfort food at this point
P.S. Is the Games Meister series still a thing? Because my goodness did the Tower Knight one have me in actual tears 😂😭
Why aren't there bloopers anymore? Come on, there MUST be a funny laugh at least after Rosie and Rob shouted at each other for so long!
My 2 year old exactly with astro bot 😂 I let him roam around the main hub he has fun but the constant pressing of triangle is getting annoying fast 🤣 he even watches whole playthrough on youtube, can't wait to teach him properly to play. Another ace video Rob 👍🏼
The Bane impersonation had me dead hahaha

As a younger brother, I either 2P or a backseater. Watching my brother playing the RE4 on ps2 for the 100th run.
Love Dave and Rosie. Great demonstration of issue. Fun one, Rob.
Rob you're my favorite but non of the save incidents were accidents.😂
Fortunately for me my sister wasn't nearly as into gaming as me. My parents got her an Atari 2600 when I was little and she just never took a liking to it so when I was about five years old she gave it to me. Thanks sis!

As an only child, I didn't understand a single one of these
I'll never forget that time where my brother had been sneak playing Assassin's Creed one late at night and hadn't managed to be caught UNTIL he beat the game and it auto saved over the slot with the end game cut scene. Funny imagining many viewers that don’t quite get these, because now when you wanna play with someone, one of you has to leave.

aah, the jingle and the “you’ve caught me thinking….” The weekend is officially here.
Rob's Friday Features are the only videos on RUclips that get a like from me as soon as they start😊
I’m the only son and I have 3 younger sisters who are all much more capable of adulthood than me! Yet, when we were kids, we had a Wii that we shared, but Every PlayStation console I ever had along with the PS5 I have right now are all mine! New king? “Make him duke. A kickass duke or something”.
Haha hit like on the Rosie and Rob arguing like kids section. Too good!
Rob and Rosie sibling arguing is the best thing
Thankfully in my household we all had our own computers and games and if we had a console you had to buy it yourself.
I did pay my younger sister chips and a soda to beat a boss to me in a game with both finished. No my proudest moment.
Though now we hardly game together because our tastes are so different. I want to play BG3 but she hated turn based. She wants to play Elden Ring and Dark Souls but I cry like a babe during Souls-Like games.
Older sibling perk: Pretty sure i was the only one allowed to use the Farsight in Perfect Dark, lol
Back in the day my younger brothers managed to break not one, but two Playstation 2's due to CTR fighting and raging.
Good times.
An issue I had is that my siblings are much younger than me. 14 years younger actually. And When I was 18 and played Bayonetta I just couldn't play it sometimes because at the time we had a TV only at the living room so obviously I couldn't have shown them this erotic game when they were four.

Actually as an elder sibling I leveraged our combined powers to convince our parents to get us games and consoles lol. We in this together
Oh my god! Oh god! This brought me back to my time sharing a PS2 with my brother. What a time that was!
My partner, Emma loves helping me out when I'm having problems in my game. Emma on the other hand knows not to ask me to help with the current Emma's game (this is any game that a member of PlayStation Access would play) she playing as I'm more a hindrance then a help.
😂😂😂😂😂 This one of best episodes I've watched I laughed so hard till rolled down my cheeks. Rob isn't normal 😂😂😂😂😂
Luckily for me, the gaming system at our house was mine.
My younger siblings only played through my grace.
End of a perfect friday... Thank you.
Nice Bane impersonation, there!! 👍
To be honest I have never had these problems with my sister, she is older but never really been interested in gaming, she does play when she wants but she has never really been interested.
My sibling didn't really play, my tiny human does however try to take over, and I love it
One time, my older brother deleted my save file in Unreal Tournament (he still claims it was by mistake, but I don't believe him, lol). So, in retaliation, I naturally deleted his Final Fantasy 8 save file (he was about 50 hours in) 😆
Love Friday features ❤
Moral of the list: don't be a jerk.
The best thing my sister taught me was the Konami code.
Me, knowing Rob's sister watches his videos...waits for the comedy.
As an only child this is very informative! I had my own PlayStations !

Damn...its been reuploaded, my 11am comment has been lost. Either way the new warm lighting/white balance looks lovely
I was gifted a psp, but no memory card. My older brother bought one for us to use. When he got mad at me, he would take the card with all the saves so I couldn't play. However, I still did and didn't let him play since the psp was mine xD
Lol, I actually did save my brother's Tomb Raider game mid jump. So when he loaded, he immediately fell into some lava. It was an accident. 😅😅😅
I remember when my cousin became old enough to not need my help in games.
Sad times.
That last one hit way to hard!
That last bit with Rob and Rosey lmao
Great vid
Loved sharing the console growing up i wasnt allowed to play resident evil but my brother had it so i ended up playing it regardless lol
This was a missed opportunity for Rob's Sister to make a cameo appearance.
Maybe we'll see her in the comments again. I'm still 50/50 on whether that was her last time.
7 Examples of Pure Rob Lore
Rosie and Rob as siblings! Da best 🤣
10:02 Rob and Rosie 😂😂.
Awesome video!
Good Lord, number 2 is so Evil.
Friday is the best day of the week
I was lucky that my sisters lost interesting in gaming after the snes era. I did have to share consoles with my dad for a while, but then he bought a pc. PlayStation was all mine! Whahaha! My precious!

I shared a console with my sibling for 10 years before finally being able to get my own. I don’t know how I survived. 😂
#2 is just diabolical
😂😂😂 Great video!!✌🏽
My little sister literally broke my ps1 by running in the house after being told not to. She tripped and fell right on it! I had no console until the ps2 dropped in price like 3 years later 😢
Rob just played Caddicurus lol
