Thank you so much for sharing Brad and Regina. I couldn't beleieve it when I saw the upload. I was laughing with tears at seeing what a fantastic time you had. Thanks to Justin for helping it become possible.
So glad that you guys have enjoyed our backyard. K'gari is a magical place, though there are so many more places here in Australia that will blow your mind even more.
@13:15 Brad was wondering about the fuel tank size. Justin's truck seems to be using a BrownDavis fuel tank. Actually Justin seems to be even endorsing the tank on the page of BrownDavis's. You can find it with "79 Series Fuel Tank Justin Owner Patriot Campers".
Man oh man. The places you have taken us too here in the states is amazing but this, this is truly an epic adventure I would never have imagined. Did you ever think your off road hobby would have taken you here to the land down under? You and Regena are the best ambassadors of the overlanding phenomenon. Having Marco and his family along makes it such a special trip. Thanks to Patriot Campers for hosting this incredible adventure.
Australia was the dream of my dad. Its incredible............. Fantastico, GRAZIE a Regina & DOC. Thanks to Patriot camper. They, however, are of Italian origin. From Milan where I live to Sicily where my blood originates, immersed in a thousand panoramas and history, I feel a little envious about your trip. Then I got used to American English, hearing people speak with an Australian accent reminds me of Fluffy, Gabriel Iglesias. A big hug to Marco and all the Petriot campers family and.....enjoy the vastest paradise on earth. Respect, Paolo
In the egg are radiated, which kills salmonella but also destroys the protective coating that naturally happens on eggs. This means that us eggs require refrigeration.
I’m so happy that you all were able to be offered such a fantastic opportunity! I can’t even imagine, but I am grateful that we get to tag along. What a personal welcome and what a spectacular piece of paradise. 🙌❤️🙌
Hey Brad & Regina, this was a great video, what a honor to be welcomed in such a warm way by Justin & his crew. I met you at Overland West about 4 yrs. ago, even got a photo with you ( Marco also). After my son graduated high school he along with his cousin & two of their friends went to Australia for 3 months. They wanted an adventure before they had to "buckle down" for college. They said they were going to Perth in western Australia, but the first call I got from him he said "hi, we're in Surfer's Paradise on the east coast". Plans can change fast when you're young and adventurous! They loved Australia & the people they met & had fun learning how to surf. Glad they got to travel some while they were young, they are all in their 40's now.
I’m so glad you got to come over Brad! We definitely need more crossover content where aussies go over to the states and vice versa. I’m hoping to take my overlanding international in the next year or 2 so I’ll see you out on the tracks. Let me know know if you come up to North Queensland. I’d love to have a chat 👍
I thank you all. Just Beautiful setting and Friends!!!!!! When I was in the Navy it was my dream country to visit. Unfortunately it didnt happen. But on You Tube it definitely does. Great Video........
My grandfather left Adelaide in the early part of the 20th century. I took my first trip to Australia seven years ago. Oh, so many things to see and do. Now retired I am working on a 4 to 6 week outback trip. The challenge is where to go? Too many things to see and do and not enough time.
Epic adventure. Justin seems like a solid bloke. In over 10 years living in Australia I've never heard anyone call a sausage a dinga, most people call them snags.
Hello Brad & Regena, we've watched a lot of your content and not commented, which I think has been remiss of us! We really enjoyed the first Australia film, thank you for this and all your other work. Best Regards, Mike & Pam, Rossendale, UK
It looks like you guys had a blast! I'm sure driving on the opposite of the road reminded you a lot of being in japan. I can't tell you how many times I almost turned on the wrong way when I was in Sasebo. Hopefully I get the chance to run into you at the SDJC Bash!
Funny that I was paying so much attention on which side of the road I was on there, that when I got home I felt more relaxed and almost made a wrong turn! See you at SDJC!
I live in Australia, and I've been following you guys for ages! Awesome to see your videos in Australia, KGari (Fraser) is the most amazing place, hope you had a fantastic time! 😊 🤙🏼🤜🤛🏼
They really gave us a great welcome to Australia! It's really a great company and during our tour it was obvious they're like a family and take a lot of pride in the work they do.
That looks like so much fun. Love that Australia lets you pump your gas b4 paying. Then the three lines representing three 3 very respectful rules that has been followed for many years. We all need to learn from this. Looking forward to next episode.
Wow, who would have known... You guys surprised everyone on this one... Glad you got to see our beautiful SEQ and visited K Gari. I live just up the road from where Patriot Campers are made.. have also been to the island a few times myself. Nice vid Brad.
I am excited to watch this series. I have been to Australia once with my family and it was such an epic experience that I will cherish forever. Never a dull moment! Soak it all in. Enjoy your time down under!
This is a very special item for you and your wife to check off from a bucket list. Thank you for bringing us along. Looking forward to the rest of the adventure.
This really warms my heart. God bless you all. I got into overlanding watching TR and Patriot Games. I went and bought a Gladiator and an X1. What a team up. You all changed my life for the better. I just kept thinking as I watched your videos…..They are living their best life and I want that too. Looking forward to the rest of the trip.
Thank you so much for your comment! One of things we want to do with TrailRecon is inspire folks to get out there and have their own amazing adventures. I wish you safe travels and many happy adventures! 😊
Oh my God. This is so EPIC !!! I am so happy for you all. And so so excited to see more. My local heroes go down under to the Holy Frasier. Absolutely mind blowing. Yay !!!
WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! What a trip of a lifetime! - Loving patriot campers! Brad that black truck and camper setup just looks absolutely incredible!!! Justin is the man!!! What a welcome. First Class!!!!
What an absolutely incredible adventure! Driving on the beach is awesome. I miss that moving from the coast, living in Colorado. The hospitality you were showed was fantastic. As always, thank you, Brad and Regena, for sharing!
I've been watching several videos from 4WD/24-7 when they've been on Fraser Island. It's so fun to see you guys there, and follow your adventure there 🙂 I've seen all Regena's pictures on Instagram and what an amazing trip you've been on.
Awesome first segment. Can't wait to see the entire adventure. Scuttlebutt that you'll be back this weekend so assuming you're back already. Glad you're back safely. Always great to see you, Regena, Marco and and his family on trips together.
So incredible you got to go to Qld, wife and I lived there in the mid 70' and it was so open back then, I think the Aussies do up the best 4x4 anywhere
This was great, brought back some memories. About 10 years ago I was working in Australia and took a weekend to visit Fraser Island. Rented a mining truck and had a blast!
Awesome video and hanging to see the next episode 😁 I can understand your emotion on visiting K'gari(Fraser) for the first time. I've done so many trip's there, I've spent over a year of my life fishing, camping, just hitting the reset button experiencing the Soul of the island and I have to admit it gets me emotional and grounded every time like it was my first visit. Australia is so vast that in the last 40+yrs I still haven't seen it all😮😊 I have travelled hundreds of thousands of kilometres touring on trip's around Outback Australia and it doesn't get old. I count myself blessed to have experienced some incredible places tho K'gari is always my favourite place❤❤
Grocery store eggs have to be refrigerated in the US because they are washed and this removes the sealing film on the outside. Unwashed eggs don't need to be refrigerated because they are completely sealed. Unwashed eggs keep about two weeks at room temp or three months(!) refrigerated.
Eggs are refrigerated here because when they're asked mwahed and sanitized the outer layer that protects against bacteria is washed away. So refrigerating them keeps them safe.
Dingers, first time hearing that term, we call sausages Bangers, and can be an evening meal with mash and peas and green beans. Hope you enjoy Australia, plenty of good overlanding as you call it. Been to Frazer Island many times, looks like I need to go back, always loved it. Have a great trip, look forward to more Frazer videos. As an Aussie, can’t come at that welcome to country rubbish.
Brad love your Videos Thanks for sharing. I am a dual citizen, I was born in Missouri and moved to Australia about 20 years ago. Ngari is a very special place that everyone should get a chance to see once.
When I started watching this I said this will probably be top ten best videos from Brad. Then about halfway I’m like hey this is top three. I aspire to emulate a lot of your socal and surrounding trips but gosh did this raise the bar.
Eggs are not washed in the UK or Europe. In the US eggs are washed. Washing increases the porosity of the shell, and creates openings that allow bacteria.

Thank you so much! And no, never in my wildest dreams did i think my love of off-roading would bring me to Australia. But so blessed that it did.

In the egg are radiated, which kills salmonella but also destroys the protective coating that naturally happens on eggs. This means that us eggs require refrigeration.
I love a good business startup story. Inspiring!
Justin is a great guy and he's worked very hard. Deserves every bit of success because he's earned it.

Fantastic. Thanks for sharing your memories. Looking forward for the next one!
All I can say is WOW what a beautiful place to see. You truly are living the dream guys.
My grandfather left Adelaide in the early part of the 20th century. I took my first trip to Australia seven years ago. Oh, so many things to see and do. Now retired I am working on a 4 to 6 week outback trip. The challenge is where to go? Too many things to see and do and not enough time.
It's a big beautiful country and we only got to see a small part of it. Hope we can go back and explore more one day.
4WD 24/7 here in the states, Trail Recon in Australia. What an exciting time time for my two of my favorite off road RUclips channels.
Epic adventure. Justin seems like a solid bloke. In over 10 years living in Australia I've never heard anyone call a sausage a dinga, most people call them snags.
I've never heard it either. I was thinking maybe it was the Aussie humor coming out. Teaching the visitor the wrong word for a laugh.
Beautiful and that's something that I would also like among other things... I'm looking forward to the next video.
Hello Brad & Regena, we've watched a lot of your content and not commented, which I think has been remiss of us! We really enjoyed the first Australia film, thank you for this and all your other work. Best Regards, Mike & Pam, Rossendale, UK

Kind of like America with vast spaces and different landscapes. But we don't have anything like K'gari. It was paradise!
So great to see you and Regina here in Aus! Chris & Ange
I didn’t realize that they changed the name from Fraser Island to K’Gari🤷♂️ such a great place, looks like you guys had a blast!
They made the change a few years back, reverting to what the Traditional Owners have always called it. And it was so much fun!
Glad you love it here. You will always be welcome here in Aus
Thanks! We can't wait to come back!
What an amazing experience. I cant wait to see more.

This is the best video I've seen
Thank you!
