Wow…just WOW! I’ve always loved earth science since I was young….this place blows my mind…and those night time skies!! Can’t wait to spend some time out there. Just mind blowing. 🤯🙌🏼
Been a subscriber since the early days, and I don’t usually comment, but that was definitely some epic scenery for sure. Thanks Chad for taking us to places that us regular Joe Blows will never see.
What we don't know, and can never truly know though always journey towards, is that every person, every being, every object, and every experience is infinite.
This video is making me miss so much being in Saint George, Utah. From 2013 until late last year, I’ve been spending a lot of my time in the Southwest. In 2023, it was full of exploration all over southern Utah. My nemesis was the dirt/sand/dust but did go out on mild offroads. My new 4x4 TRD OR Tundra wasn’t fully equipped with gear needed to self rescue. Great times! Thank you so much for this video because it brings back a lot of beautiful moments.
Chad you have got a numerous of God gifted elements with in you but the fact is that you have cultivated it by the passing time. You are an awesome person with awesome talent which you cultivated with in you. God bless you.
I like the idea of the unknown, too. I believe many folks are drawn to religion because they are afraid of the unknown. And granted, it can be a scary thought but it doesn’t scare me. It rather fills me with wonder and awe. And strangely enough, also with some comfort. Yes, the unknown can be comforting. I am an avid backpacker in the PNW and when I look up at the stars and skies or see vast expansive views, I sometimes find myself also not wanting to know at times. Keeps it mysterious and magical. Anyways, great cinematography! Utah is another great place with some stunning landscapes. Thanks for sharing.
For sure, when you take notice of the many figures and faces in the rocks, then there is a process going on within you that you are being shown that can lead to fascinating discoveries. You may find the work of Mudfossil University interesting. Cheers!
Man! A big salute to this guy. He film everything himself and even as he is clearing the obstacle, he's still filming. That's super dedication to his craft and passion.
My motto is don’t get in a situation that you’re not physically capable of getting yourself out of. You’re obviously strong but a lot of people who want to overland may not think about that. Absolutely incredible videos ❤❤
Chad, there are several Geologist who have RUclips channels. They teach you all about this region...what the formations are, what caused them and what material they consist of. They do an incredible job of tying all these formations together so you can understand. I am amazed at your videos as always and your drone footage is just spot on. I love it. Fred in Texas
Amazing landshape and inspiring adventure!! Add a glass of italian red wine like barbera, chianti or valpollicella to your dinner to add the last little ingredient to enjoy the evening relax 😊
One of the most beautiful things about perseverance? What you have to lay down forms the foundation that makes it just a little bit easier for those who come behind you to pull through. 😉
From the video you showed I knew the Sprinter Van wouldn’t make that one. I am a veteran trained in operating 4WD vehicles in extreme conditions. I give you credit for being prepared and digging it out, I too have dug out a few times not in the military we didn’t travel alone but on my personal 4WD’s post military.
Ive been enjoying your videos these last couple of days. Your first video i watched was in the Arctic. I picked it because i saw this cool van, and i want to visit Alaska one day. Long story short, I worked hard to get out of poverty. While doing that, never had a vacation. Now i make good money and i have health issues of no fault of my own. I still haven't had a vacation. However, my health is in the rise in the right direction. Ive been scared to go far. Being a patient of many new issues, almost killing me and being a respiratory practitioner as a career ,death has come closely in front of my eyes often. Ive become scared to go far. More i watch over landers, the more i want to get up one day and say eff it. It doesnt matter if im at home, work or miles into no where, if its my time, it's my time. You gave a speech in the Arctic video about why you go alone. The things it does for yourself and soul. It makes you over come things. That was a deep speech. It hit hard. Thank you buddy.
Dang Chad!!! Music choice where do you get it? I swear I'm dancing in my kitchen watching your videos and cooking. Then I have to watch the whole damn video over for the Amazing footage!!! Love ya Chad ❤ You're AMAZING
Great moral to your situation Chad - as you said , stay calm , think about your situation, be prepared for challenging situations, pick the right tools. From the land down under
I was born in the desert in the Southwest United States, and I have explored basically all four corners and its states. I am currently camping in the forest of Washington with a little rain. After I watched your video, I kind of cried a little bit. I miss my home in the desert, and I can't wait to go back.
That shot of the dutch oven over the flames of the campfire with the last little bit of daylight in the background was absolutely spectacular. Great episode!!!
I was bummed when this one ended. I appreciated your calmness when the sprinter got hung up. Just chill, assess the situation, and figure it out. Thankfully you had what you needed. Good lesson. The aerial shots were amazing. What a crazy ancient landscape. Really fun episode!
Campers trick…. Wrap your camp fire poles/fire pit with aluminum foil… as if you’re making a teepee ⛺️. One roll from dollar tree… multiple dinners. $1.25 extra per roll for dinner, on windy 🌬️ days/nights. So worth the extra 10 minutes of rolling, and less effort… worrying about the wind!👀
Been watching for 3 years if not more. Love the sceneries and the absolutely beautiful views. And the new series of Artic ocean had me on the side of the couch. Be safe. Safe travels.
I'm a Jeeping weekender "overlander" and van people generally annoy me but you are the bomb. Every time I see you have new content released I cannot wait to watch. First time I watched you was your winter trip to the arctic. Wow is all I could say the whole time watching it. Your story telling and cinema photography are spectacular. Thank you for the entertainment you provide. Please keep it up and God Bless!
I just discovered your RUclips channel, this video is satisfying in so many ways that I can't even explain it. "Be your best company. All others are fleeting"
It is really cool how much you have fallen in love with Utah and specifically the Moab part of the state. It really is a beautiful state, and even nicer knowing this is in my backyard. I need to get down there more often. I feel such at peace while there.
Greetings from Germany, content like yours is what makes traditional TV obsolete, stopped watching TV because of all you great RUclips content creators! Keep going!
You...the landscape, the cooking prep and cooking...the terrain, the sprinter and your drone shots....all are equally amazing and mind-blowing...keep it coming - if there is some oscar kinda thing for youtube vlogging, it should be given to you for 2023 :)
Small world Chad. You spoke about intituation.Years ago, I purchased a tool like your pick axe, [ poleaxki] used in fighting forest fires. I was going to part with it,until the voice in the back of my head said Bad idea. You are going to need this. Love ur videos!
That Washout was deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppp. Excellent work on digging out and your advice is so well heard, having a full size pick axe and shovel is huge for a big obstacle like that.
Chad, thanks for the eye opening vision you bring to us. Total respect to you and your ability to take all of us on a journey we could only hope and wish for. Top man .
Awesome video as always Chad. This was a epic adventure the views were so spectacular. The way the terrain was ever changing made it that more of a epic journey.
Chad, that was gorgeous!!! I want to watch this with you sometime so I can tell you each awesome thing I appreciated in this creation. I’m more inspired than ever and Utah is just over the horizon. Thanks !
I follow a lot of vanlife/overlanding channels and your stuff is by far the best in terms of cinematic storytelling. Outstanding and worth the wait! Keep on truckin!!
thats amazing , you can see how that rock formation was flipped up on its side millions of years ago , its must be full of fossels , i would love to be there and go hunting for them .
I like all your videos, but I think this one is one of my favourite! Such goog shots and editing! I hope someday I'll explore these places, too. Cheers from Germany!
Your videos are so inspiring. I decided to take my wife and kids out to Utah back in August. We drove from Ohio, and we don’t get out west very often. It had been 17 years since I’ve been there and always wanted to go back. Utah is so beautiful and peaceful. I took my wife’s Honda CR-V down some back roads, and she was getting nervous 😅
Agree permanent table would be nice. Could probably get those recliners swapped for loveseat/futon to double as sleeping space. Even if you price 450/550 4x4 with a big truck camper you are near this … I think it’s a good price point .
Chad they got anchors that you can hook your winch too in situations like you run into for off roading..You can order them on line or find them at your local dealer off roading stores.. They hold any were from 5 to 10 thousands pound very easy to use..You put them in ground in front off your van...
WATCHING YOU FROM CHARLOTTE NC THE QUEEN CITY 🙂I WAS WATCHING EXPLORER, AND HE SAID I'M LOOKING AT CHAD, I SAID CHAD IS IT THE CHAD I JUST GOT INTO, AND THEN THEY SHOWED YOU GETTING OUT OF THE VAN, AND SAID HI THIS IS CHAD, AND I SMILED AND SAID A LOT OF PEOPLE WATCH YOU, I SAID YELL THATS CHAD, KNEW THAT SMILE, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU LOVE AND STAY SAFE 💙💪👍🙂

Thanks for watching! Much appreciated!
I do believe that is the greatest kitchen I’ve ever seen!
Thanks for watching!
What we don't know, and can never truly know though always journey towards, is that every person, every being, every object, and every experience is infinite.
This is a great example of why I would carry a sand anchor(for boats) as part of the recovery gear
90% of youtubers please take note. This is good content! Interesting, engaging, beautifully shot, great music & no ego in sight. Great stuff!
This film deserves an IMAX theatrical release
Dude, your videography is on another planet level. This is much better than I’ve seen on any network TV.
I mean it when I say national geographic or Taylor Sheridan needs to get you on projects that need epic cinematography.
Put in a good word for me! Cheers!
@@LivingTheVanLife checking my speed dial now!
Loved this one as usual.
Hey Chad you should create a music playlist of your videos, they are top-notch.
Great Idea! Thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed it!

I see so many faces and skulls in those rock formations. It's almost spiritual 💀🌵
Right?! So cool
For sure, when you take notice of the many figures and faces in the rocks, then there is a process going on within you that you are being shown that can lead to fascinating discoveries.
You may find the work of Mudfossil University interesting. Cheers!
I’ve watched many van life vids …Chad is in a different league
Patience, he got lots of patience doing this kind of footages.
Much appreciated!
Thanks for watching!
Amazing! These are the best videos!
Man! A big salute to this guy. He film everything himself and even as he is clearing the obstacle, he's still filming. That's super dedication to his craft and passion.

Absolutely! Have been researching their teachings on youtube indeed.
High five Chad. Thanks for another great film. Could you please tell me what were those "strips" you had with your avocado on toast?
Amazing landshape and inspiring adventure!!
Add a glass of italian red wine like barbera, chianti or valpollicella to your dinner to add the last little ingredient to enjoy the evening relax 😊
Only by putting in unimaginable hardships can we see such wonderful scenery!
Cinematography 💗💗💗💗💗

Every video I run out of superlatives to describe your work Chad, I’m literally speechless. Thank you for sharing.
Good to have u back sir 😌
Chad you surprise me every time you post a video... Just beautiful work
Thank you very much!
Like vanlife, fulltimers and the way of making videos, Chad you are number one in the world!
LTVL Chad has pushed the art of story-telling to a new place. Are there places where they talk and compare, possibly award this work? Bravo Chad
Thanks for watching!

Enjoying the inclusion of the drone launch and the down-to-earth talk... plus the vulnerability of that ditch.
Hahaha. Thanks for watching! Much appreciated!
Some of that scenery I didn't even know we had on earth!!! WOW!!
Same here
Excellent video! Your camera work and drone footage is exceptional, and the editing required from shooting to final video is incomprehensible.
That Washout was deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppp. Excellent work on digging out and your advice is so well heard, having a full size pick axe and shovel is huge for a big obstacle like that.
One word for your films: EPIC!!! Incredible. Thank you for taking us along!
THIS IS EPIC! wish we had landscapes such as this in New Zealand free to roam.
Can’t wait to go to NZ
Like your thoughts, from alaska to the desert! Great things you're doing. This is our earth, not theirs! Keep doing what you're doing.

WOW that"s all i can say when i finish watching
You need to come out with a cookbook!! If you add notes like.. cook/sort by "dutch oven" or "stove top" etc. it would be amazing.
Your videos are so inspiring. I decided to take my wife and kids out to Utah back in August. We drove from Ohio, and we don’t get out west very often. Chad you never stop amazing us , your adventures are truly magnificent. From the land down under!
You're videos are seriously nature film documentary worthy on any high end platform! Stunning!
Thanks for watching. Thanks for the kind words.
As a fellow LTVLer you are truly an inspiration, both in exploration as well as film making, always a pleasure making time for your films.
