1:00 one of the most beautiful places in Western Australia? Bit of a mix up there mate :P Fraser Island is in Queensland. Still glad you guys are enjoying the trip Down Under.
The American host takes his latino buddy to introduce Tapatio to his Austrailian friend who's introducing Vegemite to both of them... Love to see the exchange of cultures🙏
I think Regena summed it up " MAGICAL" ! So gracious of her to invite you to come visit her as she is serious about staying there. Lol! Looks like there's gonna be some new food introduced to the trails when you get back. Man, that Aussie burger... Can't wait for the next video!
😂 I wish we could have stayed forever! Brad managed to drag me onto the plane, but another visit to Australia is definitely in our future...and he might not get to the airport next time! 😉
People slam for putting pineapple and beetroot in our hamburger, but you can't beat it, also if ever you try Vegemite, put it on thin and mix the butter with it 👌😁🇦🇺
We saw you both at the Flagstaff Expo in May. I told Regina how much I admired her courage to get behind the wheel during challenging times. This is another one. Thank you for your inspiration Regina. I have yet to drive my husband's FJ and in September we will be picking up our newly built out Ford Transit van in Vancouver, WA. Wish me luck in learning how to drive that as well.
Can't wait for this episode ! I saw the Navy has moved all its operational fleet out to sea to get out of the way of Hillary, I hope you and your family are safe and sound and my prayers are with y'all and also my thoughts and prayers to our Brothers and Sisters who have to endure the fires in Maui. God Bless y'all !
This certainly looks like the trip of a lifetime. And when Regina mentioned "when I used to drive ambulances in Japan..." it just made me realize how much LIVING you guys have done. Truly envious.
Great video Brad and Regina, I was telling Marco last week that it seemed just like a couple of months ago you were with Justin and his family in the anza borrego and you guys talked about going to see Australia and now here you guys you did it. So awesome!!!! Glad you guys had a great time and we are glad that you all made it there and back safely!! Can't wait to see more videos from you and Marco.... Welcome home.
Sir. Seeing You, Regina, Marco and friends experience this beautiful place is the first time one of your videos started to bring tears of joy to my eyes. That's just embarrassingly crazy. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all. Wow...
Awesome and outstanding video; thanks for sharing Sir. Kind of bring me memories of when I was in the Army and trained along Australian soldiers. Australian people are awesome. Thanks again Sir.
No beets? 😂😂 I love beets. On deployments we had plenty of T-rat beets. I encouraged everyone to eat them claiming that this is what the manna from heaven actually was. 😉
Love how relaxed it all is there, we could learn a thing or two from them! Do they have a beard management station on the 2.0 trailer, lol?! Love it, looks like too much fun, great memories and good times for all!
It’s awesome to see 4x4 content makers travelling internationally to make the videos even more interesting and checking out new places . Shauno and graham have just been over in the u.s doing the same 👌
Wonderful adventure Brad, Regena and Marco. We are packing our Jeep now getting ready for northern Cal "Lost Coast" run with friends. Around the campfire we always talk about TrailRecon, your trips and tips. Keep the videos coming we are all enthusiastic fans and your influence shows in our gear a methods.
Every time I see the Nissan flatbed I want to remove the bed and put the camper he’s pulling on in it’s place. I think it would open a new market for them. As always you make great adventure videos.
Just unreal stuff!! Thank you for sharing! So glad there and people like you, your family and people like Justin who have a passion for sharing this stuff with us and educating us
Dude ... South African's were raised on the stuff. We never had the brand name Vegemite .... but we have had Bovril, OxO, Marmite ... and one other old brand name I forgot.
You can polish jewellery with the sand on lake Mckenzie beach - the water in there is 400,000,000 years old purified through the sand - there are ironwood logs from Fraser Island still going strong in parts of london docks in the uk - bit of trivia 😂 next you guys must go to Moreton island also superb.
So enjoy traveling with you, you and Regena and you and your sons. Had to laugh at Marco introducing Tapatio to Justin. Tapatio was a stable in the fire house. I think the ONLY thing the guys didn't put it on was their morning cereal. Vegemite ... hmmm, I'd try it but not sure I'd like it! haha😉✌
I was hoping you could meet Shaun and Graham from my other favorite offroad channel, 4WD 24/7 but I just found out they're here in the States, running the Rubicon and around Moab! I can't wait to see more of these vids!
Your reports on your trip Down Under are making me all the more anxious to go there myself! Will have my wife watch your Australian videos after she gets up. Andy McKane, Maunaloa, Molokai.
This is basically Australia's Hawaii. Beautiful. That's how many lakes in the America's looked before agricultural run off. But with no agriculture on the island and the way they have preserved it it is incredible.
They tried to get you with the drop bears. Such fantastic, varied scenery. That lake and stream in the forest look incredible. As an American, Vegemite is certainly different. It almost defies explanation. The Aussies certainly have interesting food combination.
you should've had the beetroot as it's pickled beetroot it's like a milder version of a pickle and doesn't taste like dirt at all like beetroot does. i wouldn't touch boiled or roast beetroot but i'll eat pickled beetroot on burgers and in salad no problem at all. vegemite is spent brewers yeast from beer making with salt and vegetable extract added.
Glad to see you are enjoying my local 4wd areas. Hope you get a chance to tackle Cape York and the Old Telegraph tracks. Just finished it last week. 6700kms in total. Definitely put it on your bucket list!
Brad, this just occurred to me. Usually the scientific community, industry etc get all the accolades for innovation and advancement. But you are part of a fast growing worldwide community that is also pushing the limits of Humanity itself. Each video you and Regina display the exact human traits the world needs to focus on right now, to help swing the pendulum BACK to sanity, goodness, common sense, growth and Love for all. I cannot stress enough how the Overlanding community displays these traits, and more. Brad, Justin and Marco, you fellas and your families give me hope for the future. In your own unique ways, you are leaders, innovators, teachers, guides and entertainers. As the world is being systematically destroyed, this channel reveals where honesty, truth, friendship, adventure, growth and Love can be found. All of this sparked from an Idea you had, about Jeeps and off road adventures... Look WHAT YOU HAVE DONE.... Well Done!
I had the pleasure to visit a couple cities in Australia for a few weeks: Cairns and Sydney. Vastly different, and it was one of the best experiences in my life. Would love to take another vacation to Cairns.
You guys are following the same loop we did last November. Never thought I'd be reminiscing to a trail recon video. So glad you're enjoying Aus. Sorry Brad but we're keeping Regina
The key to Vegemite is ‘less is more’. Try Vegemite toast with a poached or fried egg. With some bacon even better mate!. Luv the vids, especially the Wranglers! Thx (From South Aus)!
Hey Brad. I am a massive fan of the channel, and you have inspired many adventures pf my own with my son. You are right, K’gari (Fraser) island is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I can attest to it as I have been there a couple of times myself. But just a quick correction, the island is in Queensland NOT Western Australia, and it’s off the East Cost of Australia. :) BTW - that was waaaayyy to much Vegemite for your first try. You have to put a very slight spread on at the beginning buddy. :)
Yeah I agree, 4wd 24/7 in US doing Moab, and Shaun's car looks like a toy car compared to their awesome Trucks (as they would say haha) and these guys doing Australia 🦘. Welcome back anytime, loving it ❤ They'd love Cape York , Simpson Desert and Gibb River Road. Haven't met our corrugations yet 😂. Great content,Great Story, Awesome Vid 🤜🤛🏼 🤙🏼
Another great video that makes me jealous of you all getting to drive/camp in these places I've only seen on video. Only thing i didn't like(and it is extremely minor) is the self level camera in the windshield of the black 79. Just a bit weird seeing the truck visually pivot around the point of view. Again...extremely minor thing to not like. Can't wait to see the next part, see what happens to the one rig and see how it gets fixed. Thanks for sharing the adventure with us.
I'm looking at those foil trays and I'm frying the eggs on those! And McGyver isn't my middle name. Ha! Wonderful video as always. Been to Australia a half dozen times and this adventure is still on my list. Thanks for sharing! Oh... and I don't do beets either!
I love how everyone online gripes about the Grenadier’s 90L fuel tank being too small for a touring 4x4 in Australia… meanwhile the guy who runs patriot campers is rolling a Ram TRX with a trailer. Prob getting 5MPG, yet no one is giving him a hard time. 😂
Did you hear anything about the logging on the island? There are cuts you filmed while driving that look like railroad cuts common on a logging railway.
Yous definitely need to travel the west of australia. Way better then the east. I grew up in the sunshine coast. Worked with steve irwin for 3years at australia zoo from 1998 till 2001. Then moved west into the pilbara. The west is the best👌
1:00 one of the most beautiful places in Western Australia? Bit of a mix up there mate :P Fraser Island is in Queensland. Still glad you guys are enjoying the trip Down Under.
Yes, you are correct, I misspoke, I get all confused when I'm in the Southern Hemisphere! LOL!
Ha! You are forgiven... Looks like Justin is the perfect guide. Definitely showing you guys the good bits... (Drop bears LOL) @@TrailRecon
LOL, omg i didnt even pick up on that error and im from WA...may be cause a few beers under the belt...HAHAHa
Glad you enjoyed this part of our country it is a wonderful place to go to. Aussie Aussie Oi oi oi
Trail Recon in Australia and 4WD 24/7 in the US. What an awesome week for the fans.
4WD 24/7 has nothing on this real to heart touring.
The American host takes his latino buddy to introduce Tapatio to his Austrailian friend who's introducing Vegemite to both of them...
Love to see the exchange of cultures🙏
Once again I'm living vicariously through the travels of your friends and family. Thanks for bringing us along!
I think Regena summed it up " MAGICAL" ! So gracious of her to invite you to come visit her as she is serious about staying there. Lol! Looks like there's gonna be some new food introduced to the trails when you get back. Man, that Aussie burger... Can't wait for the next video!

More Aussie rigs please! 79s, 200s, Hiluxes, yes please! Thank you Patriot Campers for making this happen!
You are the sweetest! Thank you! 😊I'm sure you don't need any luck learning to drive the van, just practice! 😉
Thank you! The tropical storm seems to be a bit more milder than expected... just getting a good amount of rain now is all.
The clarity of the water in that creek was insane! 🤯🤯
Yep, truly mind blowing!
I'm so happy to see all the joy in your faces I was glued to my device watching this amazing episode .. regards from Denmark 🙏🙏❤️
Thank you, so glad you enjoyed it!

We used to call Veggiemite "Axle grease" around the kitchen table as kids. Butter to VM ratio is critical though, and easy to get wrong!!! 😂
That’s a lot of trees for a “sand” island. So amazing. How many times can I say thank you for bringing us along. 😊🙏
No beets? 😂😂 I love beets. On deployments we had plenty of T-rat beets. I encouraged everyone to eat them claiming that this is what the manna from heaven actually was. 😉
Amazing! And to think it all started when one of you sons started shooting video of y'alls trips and posting them to RUclips for family.
Crazy, right?! 😄
Love how relaxed it all is there, we could learn a thing or two from them! Do they have a beard management station on the 2.0 trailer, lol?! Love it, looks like too much fun, great memories and good times for all!
Loved Lake McKenzie when we were there, snorkeled with the incredible clean water.
It’s awesome to see 4x4 content makers travelling internationally to make the videos even more interesting and checking out new places . Shauno and graham have just been over in the u.s doing the same 👌

Smiled the whole time I watched this video. You have a very large family you’ve only met through your videos. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
Reminds me a little of the Scripps Ranch forest prior to the Cedar Fire. I used to take my Jeeps on the dirt road there for a quick test of new parts.
We were living in Poway during those fires, remember them well.
Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing what you have next. I have to go out there
I always get a kick out of seeing the joy on people's faces as they explore what is essentially my back yard. Enjoy.
Every time I see the Nissan flatbed I want to remove the bed and put the camper he’s pulling on in it’s place. I think it would open a new market for them. As always you make great adventure videos.
I always love seeing rare places. That would be awesome to see for the first time.
Just unreal stuff!! Thank you for sharing! So glad there and people like you, your family and people like Justin who have a passion for sharing this stuff with us and educating us
I appreciate that!
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Great video , Thanks

Cool! We've heard about Moreton but there was only so much we could fit into this trip. We definitely need to come back! 😊
Incredible!!!! I can't wait to see the next chapter of your journey… thank you for bringing us with you!!!

Thank you! Yes, Justin started putting Tapatio on everything! 😂
22 years ago this month me and my wife camped at the lake you visited
What great memories
The "Jeep Recovery Unit" put a smile on this Nissan Frontier lover's face! Thanks for sharing.

Amazing mate, down under Trail Recon edition
So glad you've enjoyed your trip, Australia does indeed have alot too offer.
Fraser Island, my favourite spot in the world. What an amazing place. Enjoy your stay

How about that lake and the creek!?! What a rarity to see water like that, just incredible. Thanks for sharing with us all!
Hey, Brad, I know. I got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning, but I'm pretty sure that Fraser Island is in Queensland 😂😂😂🤔🤔👌🇦🇺
LOL! Yep, I misspoke!
@@TrailRecon hey Brad you're starting to sound like a politician, but anyway I'm glad you had a good time 👌🇦🇺
I was like why are they going to that creek. Lol my mouth dropped when you said clear. Wow wow wow

Awesome location. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for watching!
This is a future bucket list trip for me. Thank you!
It looks absolutely amazing. I said it before, it looks like something straight out of a Swiss Family Robinsons movie!
You guys are following the same loop we did last November. Never thought I'd be reminiscing to a trail recon video. So glad you're enjoying Aus. Sorry Brad but we're keeping Regina
Did Marco really bring Tapatio to Australia, or did he buy it there?
the steering wheels are on the right side, which is the wrong side:D
Awesome upload. And long over due. 2 of my favourite off-road RUclips channels 💪🏼
Thank you so much!
@@TrailRecon Only a pleasure, really looking forward to the next episode of this installment. Cheerz from South Africa.
I want a beautiful place for epic adventure thanks for sharing
I never knew such beauty was in Australia, but thank you for sharing this amazing trip! I think i just added Australia to my Bucket list destinations

Love the video.
Amazing, Just love it! Thx!!
Thank you thank you for these amazing trips. Truly amazing
Remarkable. What an adventure!
Nobody noticed??? Marco is the true hero of this episode.. he is eating a burger.. he is vegetarian ! Team player !
He’s definitely a hero, but he hasn’t been a vegetarian for several years. 😂

Drop bears are scary for sure.........but its the Hoop Snakes that you have to watch out for :p
What a absolutely epic adventure
Vegemite and Marmite are good as ingredients for cooking, glazes on barbecue for instance.
Just clarification Frazer is on the east coast of Australia not the West coast or Western Australia
Great video, Where are the kagnaroos ? At least there not dropping out of the trees 😊
Thanks! We didn't see any kangaroos on the island.
We actually have tree kangaroos, google it I promise it is real

It's probably a chupacabra. It's the goatsucker from Australia that place looks. Looks amazing now I wanna go.
So good I watched it twice
I had to pause... Tapatio? down under, the stores carry tapatio????? if so, I can definetly move to AU!
Brad drinking Starbies instant? Say it ain’t so! 😂
LOL! Sometimes you gotta do, what you gotta do.... still better than shipboard Navy coffee!
Did you hear anything about the logging on the island? There are cuts you filmed while driving that look like railroad cuts common on a logging railway.
The island was listed as a world heritage in early 1990 and logging old growth stopped.
