I don't do Pilates often, but this was easy to follow, and I found myself sweating. I appreciate you reminding us to relax/drop the shoulders or to pull them back. I have a problem of always hunching my shoulders up and forward.

Awesome core-focused workout! I am familiar with many of these moves: classic Pilates. But I've never done the finisher: a great challenge! Many great cues, as always: to maximize the intensity, and to ensure form is perfect. I appreciated the suggestion to elevate at 22:50; I did, and it took the discomfort out of my hip flexors. Thank-you!

Mindful mix and especially nice for those experienced in pilates but still lacking in deep abdominal connection( sometimes resulting from surgery ). Like that variation on the spine stretch for shoulders too! Great instruction, thanks again for posting Ange!

@@AngesPilates Hey Ange, just came back to this one 3 years later and I executed those final leg lifts no problem! Woo hoo!! Well, they were challenging but I could actually *do* them with my legs straight and my arms in the air! Thanks for encouraging me to keep at it, I feel so proud. :) And thanks again for your videos. I'll keep practicing and getting stronger! Xx

I love your new workouts. I have 2 questions for you. Are your shoes to keep from slipping on the mat (yoga paws)? and I notice you have two mats and they are placed on a rug. I like to practice with my mat on a rug but find it slips around. Does your bottom mat keep top one from slipping? Thanks again for the wonderful well-paced workouts.
ednamiller11 I am so happy you are enjoying the workouts 😊😊 My shoes for me are more of a personal preference but they also do prevent me from slipping. I used two mats in this particular video as I found that just one was slipping on the rug. I usually use just one. The filming for this video was in my living room and my film guy wanted to keep the rug for the shoot. Happy Pilates 😊😊
Hi Ange, what do you mean when you say "Zip up your inner thigh"? Sometimes I am so busy concentrating on everything else during the exercise it's hard to engage my inner thighs as well! i can usually feel my quads working in all abdominal exercises but not inner thighs, unless I work them isolated. Loved the workout by the way. Thanks!
Adele halsall Thank you! Imagine a zipper on your pants and as you pull the zipper up pull your inner thighs together. Just a visual to help you engage your inner thighs. It's hard to engage them when there are so many other things happening. Keep up the good work 💪🏽💪🏽
