I have shoulder issues so I did this without weights, and still got a great workout. Thank you! I've never taken a formal pilates class and so I really appreciate that you explain all the postural points and remind us what we need to keep engaged. Very good Pilates workout. 3lbs weights resulted in v. challenging upper body work. I was impressed with the knees-lifted moves, and the pretzel moves were so challenging I dropped the weight. Thank u!

Intense work. I really liked the oblique move; and the move with the weight behind the knee: really worked my hamstrings. And the whole workout did not engage my hip flexors, which sometimes try to take over; so I bonus!

Loved this sequence, the addition of light dumbbells is a nice extra challenge! Love the exercise at 12:01, lots of fun but a lot tougher than it looks!

Hi, thank you, I am so happy that you are enjoying the videos. I usually always give options to make the exercise less demanding or more challenging. It can also help to execute the exercise really slowly making sure you are engaging correctly. Hope this helps! :):)
Monika Pahwa yes you can! The more you do something the more intensely you will feel & see the results. Joseph Pilates himself said ‘In 10 sessions you will feel different, in 20 sessions you will see the difference and how in 30 sessions you will have a whole new body’ 😊😊
Ange's Pilates Hello Ange, how often should I do Pilates in a week to see results and to improve posture ? and what length of time should my workouts be ?
shifa m I suggest you try and do at least 3 sessions a week and 30 minutes is fine to start with. Each person is different though but if you feel you would like a longer workout try combining 2 workouts together ie a 30 minute one with say a shorter upper body or cardio session. I hope this helps.

Hi Shifa, its hard to comment as you have not told me if you need to lose a lot of weight or not. If you want to lose a lot of weight I suggest you do high intensity interval training as opposed to something like running at a constant speed. High interval training would work well with Pilates to lengthen your body. I hope this of some assistance.
