In this video we'll be talking about the advice i've been giving to my viewers who tell me they are hardstuck in Valorant. This advice was something I didn't really think too much of until people started coming back to me telling me that it was working and how thankful they were. I think that every now and then we just need to remind ourselves that complex problems can sometimes have simple solutions. This may not work for everyone, but it's worth a shot! Good luck!

So, the problem is when I am a duelist I get the top frag for the first few rounds then bottom frag. When I am a sentinel I bottom frag throughout the whole game because I want my team to push and they don't. When I they rush site I play passive, but when we defend I want to peek first. Idk wtf to do...also I am bronze solo q and feel like I have to do everything. I
@@SweatyMathMajor In act 2 till about 2 weeks before the end of the act I was a bronze 2, every game I would carry my team but I would get bad teammates and i used to get afks etc. Eventually I climbed to silver solo queue and I had better teamates. I kept solo queuing and I got to gold 2 I am now a plat
I'm in Gold 2 and I play Jett and Raze. I want to vod review because I feel I am inconsistent regardless of doing aim training, warming up, and focusing on crosshair placement. So many times when I die I just feel helpless although I know there's something I could do differently; I just don't know what. This is my first PC shooter game and I started playing in June.

I should’ve dodged the split map, if I dodged it I might get bronze 1 from unranked instead of iron 3, I ain’t no pro, but my best tip is to don’t play sova main and don’t play the split map, instead take the cheeky three minute or one hour ban, it’s not that bad
Sova is one of the best if not the best agent in the game haha
I think an issue I have is that when I play a duelist and play really aggressive I do really well and feel really confident in my aim which allows me to continue to play well but the issue is I'm not always confident in my aim and then can't play aggressive because I just die or am just not confident in doing well if I do push so if I lose a game and didn't do well my confidence is gone and its hard to build it back up. I end up just playing controllers/sova more often than not and I just do OK or bad. Only times I do well is when I'm aggressive. This issue for me was especially prevelent when going from plat to diamond, I hyped it up to be a bigger change and though I'd be playing really good players so I don't play aggro as much as I used to. That's why I'm currently hardstuck d2/3 I just don't have the confidence to play how I play best.

Im hardstuck bronze/silver. I play mostly reyna and raze as they fit my aggresive entry role. The issue is im stuck because the lack of teamwork. My team is always so bad, i cant rely on them to trade to peek with me and im just not good enough to hard carry my team to a dub. i can usually drop 20+ kills with at least a 1.25 K/D each game but i cant rank up.

My problem is, when I play a duelist, I am scared to entry, because either my team doesn't follow, or doesn't trade me. If I play some sort of sentinel, for some reason I just have the urge to entry because my duelists aren't doing it right lmao
Cyper might not before for you because he takes patience, if your teammates aren’t playing there role, don’t be afraid to speak up
Tbh this is why I always do terrible whenever friends tell me to play duelist (hard main sage atm to get better). Keep overthinking if I'm gonna flash teammates, constantly rushing in and dying without awareness, and feel anxious if I'm not the very first one in. People are saying I'm really overthinking it but really i don't fit duelist at all
Felt this so hard. I main Yoru and it makes it worse since yoru players have a bad rep. If im not at the top of the leaderboard “I’m the reason we lost” as a result i been only playing omen and sage and now im just kinda hardstuck silver 2. :(
maybe play something that can entry and something that can play passive too like skye and agents like that

Try making a new account, worked for me, i was hardstuck bronce, made new acc, got gold1 instantly, now im stuck gold the whole time although im as good as plat atleast, so i just started a new account, and im playing against plat players already. Maybe try that too
@@PeppaPigParody i was supposed to be diamond, at the time I wrote this i was gold 3 getting 30 kill losses almost every game, but ive finally gotten decent teammates and im back to plat 3 and still increasing

In my opinion (or experience) people tend to focus more on fragging out, than just winning the game and play as a team.
Valorant was introduced to me by some of my colleagues who were in mindset of "get Raze, you just throw a nade and frag out like crazy". One of them still tells me that I'm not good / don't like to play duelists, because I don't do it.
Spoiler alert: I'm the worst duelist. It's just not my style, I don't have that reflex, or confidence to go on the site full of enemies.
Ignoring that I'm more like of support / trader playstyle. I like to play Sova, to give intel, support, trade. Or Cypher to flank and lurk.
Even Viper is nice in this role.
And sometimes I think that's the problem, that people think that they must be the top-fragger, knowing only one strategy - rushing, pushing, smashing (and dying in most scenarios XD) to be succesfull in the game.
But not everyone is good at being the fragger, the person that is in the front line.
Having multiple roles/classes in a team is nice. But even more nice is playing as agent / role you are comfortable with.
Like you said - if someone isn't patient, they are not a good sentinel (or controller imo).
Get an agent/role/class you like and do your job. I met a lot of people who are picking Raze, or Reyna, or Phoenix (because those are characters "best for soloq), they are duelsits, they are supposed to be in a front line. Aaand then they are afraid to enter the site, hiding behind sentinels.
you need to be the hacker in every game, not literally though, just you see an enemy, kill him, and repeat, pentakill every round every game, that's how you climb, sure you can change playstyles, agents or whatever, but the principle is the same, contact, headshot, repeat, or you just waste your time

the low rank players always aim at the body, so when you crouch for recoil control, you die with a headshot. this sucks but it is true

yeah im bronze and its surprising how many kills I get on crouching players and how much less I die after unbinding crouch xd
Only time I crouch in the bronze ranks is when I know I’m not gonna get headshotted. So basically when I’m behind them or they aren’t paying attention
So all you should do is focus on aiming and just get the headshot faster. Crazy I know

I really like to play sova, because learning his lineups are fun and I love having info before pushing. Where do you think sova's kit belongs on an aggression scale?
In scale of 1-10....I think solid 9....
I think it depends a bit on how you go with him - if you are getting intel more for yourself, or for your team.
Like you get info for you insta-fragger and then go and support him, or are first on the front.
Sova's aggressive skill varies between players. Let's compare him to Breach, Breach''s flashes allow him to be aggressive but he can support with his Fault Line and Aftershock to push people out of corners. As an initiator you're going in first and are most likely gonna die first to be traded if that ever happens. Sova on the other hand can't be as aggressive as Breach but is more of a support. His info gathering is great and instead of going head in after a flash like Breach, his drone lets him stay more passive to clear the angles instead. When you double Shock Dart a location like the spike or a certain angle, or just shock darting someone hiding in a corner, you're doing it passively. After gathering all your info, it is best for an entry fragger to go first and flash, dash, ect. but you can still go in first if your teammates know how to trade. Overall, Sova's aggression scale from 1-10, is at a solid midpoint at 5. Hope this helps!
@@sfxakt7152 I really like your summary of them. :D Now, when we have Skye in the group, I think she is even more passive than Sova, because she is a healer, and also only for the team.
She can gather info, and flash, but her flashes have a really far range before detnation, so they are designed to be used from afar.
Like: Breach - Sova - Skye from most aggressive, to last. :D

@@charlieelkey4793 Be positive, if you get tilted you’ll do worse. If you lose a comp game take a break calm your mind. Never blame your teammates blame yourself even if it isn’t your fault. Think about this: Should I have played more aggressive? Should I have been more passive? Did I check every corner? Do you choose an agent that fits in the team comp(flashes, smokers, duelists, info gatherers etc). I believe you can rank up!

The problem with me is that everytime im feeling it and having good kda my team always trash but when im not feeling it my team is good but still a loss anyway

@@gabrielmantha4784 it happened the same to me but I think I figured out that the issue was playing with my friends, they were the same rank as me but they only tried to be the best of the team, they prefered to get mvp on a game and loosing it instead of winning the game so we played like 3 or even 4 duelists and their mentality was being toxic.
Try taking a break for a day or two, you will come back refreshed
I can change my agent, my play style, my strategy but i cant change my teammate going AFK, going 8-20 or peaking an op over and over and over again. So thank you 👍. Also, valorant ranking system and matchmaking system is absolute ass crack. Change my mind.

@@digojez actually your version is incorrect, his isn't. Queuing is the progressive gerund of the verb queue so 'if' is correct here and 'in' would not be correct

Thanks for the tips, I started only playing omen a few days ago and seeing success. I like him, because he's the only truly dynamic agent, u can play aggro and passive. I like to hear that I'm heading in the right direction.
Most of the time ppl in bronze iron or silver elo that are hardstuck just solo queue with trash teamates
if you are silver or lower then you're there because your aim is terrible. anyone with decent aim can single handedly carry an entire silver match

I play viper quite aggressively cause her wall and smoke has so much vision denying potential so I can get into weird angles get a kill and get out unscathed. I can also use mollies to get people out of corners and for post plant and I think it works quite well.

I have a question, I was plat 2/3 last act, now I'm d3, so I'm not stuck at all, but I used to be really good with pheonix but now I'm not that good at pheonix, I started playing jett more is their a reason why I suck at pheonix now
Started at and still iron 3 and quickly got better. My problem is I’m top fragging as kj and omen bc all my teammates are very bad. Not to be rude but it’s frustrating bc I feel I’m better than iron but I’m losing rank bc my teammates.
The other day I played 3 comp games and all 3 games my teammates messed around and cost me the games. sage literally kept walling herself off with spike... things like that the whole game.

Good advice! You should always try new things, learn new agends just for the sake of knowing their perspective while you play against them (it helps alot to know the enemey so you can guess what he might do next) and just trying new roles. Like i was more like a passive player with KJ for the most time and in some game i was kinda switching between aggressive and passive all the time. So i tried something new and played sova bc i could always chose between being supportive through giving intel while doing things far back like covering teammates or using my intel to play aggressive bc i know where the enemy is standing.
Honestly I just get stuck coz of bad teammates, I know this phrase is over used and many people really deserve the rank they have, but many guides have told me to not be afraid to speak up, but when i do they just get toxic and tell me to shut up. Some teammates run n gun only, some just make a ton of noise, and some are really prideful and think they can't be taught. I have so many problems with this so if anyone can please help, then help. I consistently drop team mvp and match mvp, i entry, i do my job and almost never go negative on kda, but it's so hard when my teammates don't know how to play the game
I feel like I’m hard tuck in iron. I solo queue a bit and sometimes stack. I like playing somewhat passive but enjoy being able to get picks and lurking. I play viper most of the time and only really switch when she’s taken then I go for Reyna or Phoenix unless there are enough duellists when I just go to sage. I’ve never had to think of another fallback past sage.
I try to keep my cross hair at head level but I always seem to hit body shots. My economy starts seem to be fine and I don’t usually find myself making hard economic decisions. I keep finding myself getting picked off from behind or not being able to escape a fight and just being useless.
I haven't been playing for a long time, but have been stuck in iron, even though I top frag alot of my games. I understand the game and have alright mechanics.
My issue is mainly solo/duo queueing. I either queue alone or with one friend of mine, and in low elo it happens quite often that I am the only one communicating.
People aren't listening to me when I try to suggest different strategic approaches when something else isn't working.
I main Killjoy, even though being a rather aggressive person, but i like her ability to watch the teams back on maps like split, bind and ascent.
I quickly get paranoid when not having some util behind me when attacking, even though I am the one entrying a lot of the time.
I try to use her as aggressively as possible, throwing nades, peaking off my turret ect. but it still often does not work out, I have yet to find a duelist that I enjoy playing.

I've been hard stuck in gold 3 but I've been doing everything correct and my aim is on point and also my decision making feels great. I also get team MVP every game and sometimes match MVP. And I know that the only thing holding me back is the random teammates I get. Like every game they don't listen to my callouts and die or they don't push into site when I cleared it, and they are watching flank everytime. So that's why I always take spike

stop blaming your teammates, if ur hardstuck then it cant be ur teammates fault everytime, just accept some of the blame for yourself
I was stuck in gold for 5 weeks and aim trained everyday but ultimately mindset and playing more passively got me up to plat and I’m now plat 2

What about people who are doing the opposite on improving and not hard stuck. Was plat 3 earlier this act and consistently won then some reason I started to suck and deranked all the way to plat 1 and look like I might continue to derank.
Very aggro jett/Reyna main, I’m hardstuck plat 3 I tried changing things up and playing sentinels and for a while it worked then I got stuck again, so I went back to duelists and then it hit me. It’s not me it’s my teamm8s most of the time I set up these scenarios where I get man advantage and safely get out, if I don’t get the frag my teammates should be refragging me. But no they sit back and do nothing. I am inconsistent sometimes but it isn’t my fault if it’s a 5v2 and suddenly becomes a 1v2 because I always say play together and trade this is always loseable I’m always thinking abt the danger and economy. What do I do now?

I’ve deranked from d2 to p3 past few days.
I match mvp/team mvp every game yet have been on a mad losing spree. I don’t know what to do at this point. I drop 30 kills and still lose. I’m comming, trying to be a IGL, trading, entrying.. yet it isn’t good enough. (I usually fill btw) I keep getting really bad teammates who just throw.
find someone to duo q with or people to stack with, valorant solo queue is literally near impossible if you don’t have teammates with at least half a brain
But have you started really changing things up? Maybe find a main that really suits you instead of flexing
@@nicholashe1198 Flexing what though? All I’m saying is that I’m being consistent and it’s not like I’m throwing personally. I’m kind of comfortable with any agent. My mains are: Reyna, Phoenix, Omen, Breach and KJ.

Since you mention it now: trying out a dualist DOES NOT mean that you need to have 4 dualists and a sage in your team... It IS and ALWAYS WILL BE a team game, remember that.

I have been hardstuck iron since beta, i have played omen throughout flipping between passive and agressive omen, i have picked up brimmstone and now i mostly play yoru and sometimes play omen, i play to aggressive or i play to passive, and i die. I have tried different agents and playstyles and that makes things worse for me and I start playing all funky i dont know what to do anymore, originally i didnt know how to aim but now im much better. Yoru seems like my fit I love mixing up my opponents and pushing in but also being able to initiate. but i still only peak bronze and then derank back down to iron
he said IRON TO GOLD IN A WEEK??! ... I've been playing every day (with the exception of maybe 5 total) for the last 6 months and I wish I was exaggerating. I know I'm not "good" but I am infinitely better than where I started and yet, somehow, I am still the same fckin rank on my main.
A month or so back, I made an alt account to see where I would get placed. Get this.... Bronze 3. OK??? SO WHY AM I IRON 3 ON MY MAIN. (I'm yelling at Riot, not you obviously lol)... I just refuse to make it my main because I've spent more than I'd like to admit on skins. But that just proves that this rank system is dog shit. It's infuriating.
Right, so I've been hard stuck for 3 months and here's what happens: First game of the day, top frag and win, bronze 3, about to rank up (Not hard to top frag Bronze 3, I get it. That's not the point). Second game: I'm Bronze 3 playing with Silver 3 and Gold 1's in my match and sometimes get an AFK, middle of the pack for kills. Lose all the RP gained from the first game. Do it again except it's all Silver 3's and a smurf on the other team. Lose double the RP. Back down to Bronze 2 now. Top frag and win. lather, rinse repeat. I carry teams by at least 8-9 kills consistently and can't stop this process, and it feels legitimately outside of my control.
Now, I've grown a TON as a player, drilled hours in Aimlabs, learned a agent (Omen gang), and grown so much better. When I entered Bronze 3 I definitely was stuck bc it's where I deserved to be. But at this point the jump from Playing against SIlver 1's to Gold 1's in a single match is just ridiculous on Riot's part.
Hardstuck in d2 playing more with immortal and d3 3 times I was probably going to uprank 3 days in a row one day afk,one day immortal breach 0-16 and a 4-15 Sova 😢 Also I mostly play omen like u, not mad Fragger to play duelists 😂,and now local lans closed cause of covid,my dreams to hit immortal rip
I'm hardstuck silver 1 right now. I average 25+ kills and the past twelve games have been 4v5's against golds. The last game I got when I wasn't mvp while being lowest rank was when I was bronze 2. I don't have anyone I can queue with either. I've tried nearly everything from characters to playstyles and still can't seem to get a good team. Are there any personal things I should focus on to try to make up for the difference? I don't want to be the "Oh WeLl ItS mY tEaMs FaUlT" guy, I want to be the guy who made up for the diffrence
IDK why but when I play unrated I always MVP and win but when I play comp I always bottom frag and lose, and the thing is nothing changed about my playstyle and I always change my positions every round but I'm hardstuck at silver 3

I don’t know does anyone have same problem or does anyone even read this comment but I’ve been stuck in Gold 2/3 since ranked was released in June 2020. Yup. Never reached plat, been surfing through those golden ranks act after act and now in episode 2 I’m again in Gold 2 with 0/100 points -.-
I don't know if I'm playing my role right, but I kinda like to IGL on cypher. If my teammates go A, I'll place a trap on B main and watch mid camera sp that no one can rotate without me knowing that they are. Then if I see players starting to rotate, I'll just call my teammates back to B for a fast rotate. Or I will do the same thing but lurk mid and catch rotations off guard. I only do this when I'm in a 5 stack though, because I don't like comming in solo queue. Worked for me so far from silver 1 to Silver 3.. But I don't know how I'd do in all gold lobbies now that I'm gold, because I have rarely gotten queued against a gold since the people I 5 stack with are all silvers and bronzes, and when I do queue 5 stacks with a gold, regardless, there is never a gold on the other team. Normally I'm the one getting most kills on a cypher as well as getting team mvp or match mvp. It wins us the round and the game, but I wonder if It would be a better playstyle on other characters? I still don't really know how all the characters are played, or the best playstyle for them..
I've been playing since Beta I'm Ranked diamond on beta when the real game came out I got hardstruck bronze 1 until today I'm still iron 2 BCS my team can do callouts I fought TenZ in silver I actually beated him Still my advice don't play this trash game
I can play killjoy passive and Kayo agressive I just yesterday had a Game where I did not leave my spot on A for 5 rounds and played rly good
On the other hand I play Kayo as if I'm playing Doom
And it both works its just with Kayo numbers say Im good and with killjoy I prevent 5 People from entering A for 12 rounds on my own wich also wins us a lot of rounds
Me: passive player , i play sentinel , fragging passive and good in defending side , communicating, have decent aim and movement ..... winning 2 matches loosing 2 matches mostly due to underperforming teammates..... now what? im literally in b3 for 2 months 🤣 tge rr goes up and down and up and down .... and not to mention smurfs ...
imo it is about 70% luck to win unless u are a smurf too...
im a hardstuck silver 1i play cypher ,omen, and skye when both are picked.
I have an aggressive lurking playstyle on attacking, and im a very anchored defensive support player on defense
I only know a few cypher setups (1 on every site) and my omen smokes are god awful, but im very good at the skye flashes

I just played a game where I went 30 and 15 in iron 2 and it went to overtime and my teamate was 2 and 19.. idk if me changing my playstyle will help my teamates from being terrible
I feel like my problem is that I can’t trust my teammates. I like being aggressive, but I always end up playing omen because I can’t trust my teammates to smoke the necessary place so I always end up getting killed in a place that needed to be smoked

I'm a duelist reyna main and I'm kinda that really aggresive and not really a passive kinda playstyle, I've been hardstuck for 3 months in I really like playing by the job, I meant like as a duelisat i only take space that my team can be there. is there anyhelp ? i really like to get the first kill and always getting the aggresive move.
I have iron3 but I am on higher level than that. I can’t leave iron because if I got Nice Guys in one game I have kids and bad players in next game
i dont know if you still check comments on videos this old but i have a question. im an aggressive player but i die alot when i play duelists, however when i play passive players like brim and killjoy i get alot of kills and i die alot less. is there a way to tansfer this skill or is it something to do with pressure of playing duelists?

It worked for me i was hardstuck in Bronze 2 then i changed server from the singapore server 1 to sydney server 2 now im gold 2

my problem is inconsistency, probably because i play 4-6 comp games a day and some go really well while the rest end up in a curse clutch, should i take on taking breaks
its hard cause the match making for me in iron 1 is mostly new players and im a passive player and aggresive sometimes and since new players keep being in my team i cant really carry the team since im not so good to be a full out aggresive player
when i become match mvp in iron and win then only 16rr increase when i defeat after carrying my noob random teammates my 30 rr decrease
between im good at controllers and i only play viper omen and brim
