@@afifnursena yeah, I guess you just move on from that match and focus on yourself for the rest of the matches. While also reporting the toxic people lol

hey dragonmar. Can you make a video on dealing with anxiety/nervousness when playing comp? I think my aim and crosshair placement is competent enough for a gold and plat player, but I lose a lot of times to my own mind, and in turn, lose these easy battles that I should've won.
Hey man I know how you feel, also gold/plat player whose in their head a lot. He really is right when he says just play the game, the more hours you have in game the more solutions you wont even have to think of it will just be instinctual. First act I had like 70+ wins and many many more games, but the second act I couldnt play as much due to work and since then I have been a lot more anxious on ladder. It sounds counter intuitive but its like immersion therapy! The more you're exposed to it the less anxious you'll be. Final thought; when you do find yourself nervous (I know how I feel, light in my chest, cant' focus, weird breathing), take a second and remove yourself from your computer and ground yourself (see something, note its color, texture, smell whatever) and remind yourself its a game. This is all that I do to work on ladder anxiety, I know it can be a bitch and a half but I believe in you
Perhaps you play for the wrong reasons (no offence). When I go into a comp game, I genuinely don’t care about winning, losing, or my rank. I just focus on myself and whether or not I performed well. Try to keep this in mind.
@@tombird7300 just watch people on twitch, always someone streaming Valorant that’s a pro pretty much, and you’ll see them pop off and you take their movement, set ups, angles, etc.
I thought about letting you figure this out by yourself but I think it's important for me to give my own opinions about the format of the video. The youtube algorithm recommends videos based off watch time and consistency. Are the viewers watching the entire video? Do the viewers keep coming back to the same channel? How likely are they to click onto a video if we post this on their recommendation? Take my criticism with a grain of salt but if we were to exponentially grow your channel the videos need to be direct and constantly giving out clear critical analysis about the information. The video should be centered around a single idea, and should have a single definitive role to the audience. To me your ideas should be very clear and refined for your audience or else they don't know what the takeaway is from this video and lower the watchtime. When you speak, try to remember, "What do I want my viewers to take away from this video" to prevent yourself from ranting on too long about certain subjects when the entire juice of it is at the end. I believe your ideas hold true and valid, they just require practice and aim to deliver them in an efficient and clear manner without the need to consistently circle around an idea without ever landing on it. The art of speaking in analysis videos like this is through point, evidence, analysis, impact on your gameplay rather than here is the evidence which brings me to my point. The lack of clarity in certain points and ideas will negatively affect your watchtime and the user takeaway from these videos. I want you to grow, so achieving better clarity in the presentation of ideas is key to getting your videos recommended time and time again.
I have no idea if the diamond 2 I'm playing against is a radiant smurf. Generally the are. Rofl. Now can you imagine Iron me playing against his iron smurf?
I have found my best games are when I am confident in myself and just having fun! I try to replicate this feeling as much as possible before playing ranked but it doesn't always come - anyone have suggestions? I do the same practice routine before playing and keep that very consistent but don't have any other rituals.
I deal with ranked anxiety mainly when I think of soloQing almost every time. And I wonder why sometimes and watching this made me think that it’s just lack of confidence in most cases
I’ve always been very confident when it comes to online fps games. I’ve always been the player on top. When i started valorant I felt confident, but now I feel for the first time ever in a fps game my confidence is at an all time low. Mabey in to old or not putting in the hours I need to. But this never been that big of an issue in other games.
I just hit Radiant yesterday and im still very inconsistent. The points you talked about where confidence plays a role are way to true. I am a pretty good aimer, but I lost alot of gunfights because I started picturing what would happen if I didnt get that kill and that impacted so many of my matches. Overthinking is very bad, so just try to avoid that and don‘t get stuck in your head to everyone who reads this.
Interesting how it works, when I start moving my mouse around super quickly pretending I’m radiant and getting compliments from my team calling me a smurf I continue to play better. I encourage nice behavior as opposed to a toxic attitude.
So, I mostly solo que and it’s funny I was very inconsistent when I was gold 3 and I practiced to get way more consistent so I thought I could get into plat, but then I went on a serious derank all the way to silver one. My career shows me getting 18 kills per game almost every game which is great and I feel I did okay in those games (kills aren’t the deciding factor of wins so I was 18 kills but not always top of board). Occasionally I have a game of 25+ kills if I get deranked at all trying to get out of silver and sometimes a game of 14 but not usually less. I guess my question is how do I help my team to be more consistent. I get a lot of games where my teammates are fun and know what they are doing and usually they are lower ranked and games where people look like they don’t know how to play the game and are very toxic and yet they are a higher rank and I’m wondering how I can help them win, but also get the wins I’m working for. I try to encourage my team and I always say we can still win this even if losing 12-3 but sometimes it is difficult to play right now even with my current confidence in me and my team. Thanks!
I, for once have an actually crazy aim and a lot of confidence, but stopped playing for 2 months because my PC broke. Just got my pc back and I'm watching this already showint that I lack confidence ._.
I’m s3 but I am consistently top fragging and I’m still declining in rank because my teammates are bad I know everyone says not to say that but I am top fragging every game so I need help
I mean I’m not that much higher sitting at p3 but it’s not your teammates holding you back. Just because you get frags doesn’t mean you did everything right. If you bait your whole team and get two kills in a 1v5 you will have at minimum 26 kills. You’re score looks good but you aren’t playing with your team. This is a team game
I am playing with the team entrying with rayna and making calls and plays so yeah I still make mistakes and I admit that but that doesn’t help me alskk OK I don’t bait
I play jett and reyna as mains, but as everyone knows, they’re agents that have a high chance of getting instalocked, so whenever there’s 2 duelists that get instalocked, I go cypher. I have a hard time playing cypher on attack, as normally I’m the entry fragger, but I often have to carry the spike which makes me question everywhere I go, and to die at spots where my team can’t reach
This is the truth right here . Brought me straight out of a rut where I missed all my shots and made constant miss plays, only playing how I know I can every now and then. Playing with confidence is actually game changing. Thank you so much. I can not describe how effective this is
Honestly I just miss easy fucking shots sometimes for no reason whatsoever. That then drains my confidence and that's it, I'm gone for the game. I could pop off for maybe 10 rounds and then do shit for the remaining 6 (because we lose 6 and the opponents overtake us and win) and it just makes no sense. I lose one stupid shot, I lose another, I die and that's it. It's just a stupid curse.
