Some other tips: The fundamental shape you should be drawing while trying to aim is the square box. This is because wasd are the only ways to move, and thus evade your shots, on a keyboard (a box shape) with the occasional diagonal movement. As noted in this video (passive vs active mechanical aiming), it is easier to strafe (move side to side) and move with your keys while keeping your mouse still rather than trying to adjust your mouse which is hard to do as it can be rather free-form. Make mouse adjustments outside of the box principle only when necessary. Another thing to keep in mind is to draw a backwards L while firing and then extend tohat to an upside-down T eventually as that is the usual recoiil patterns of most weapons. Another thing, there is the defender's aim (when you're holding an angle) and the attacker's aim (when they're pushing an angle), as a defender if you just stay still and try to aim with your mouse whereas they're aiming with their keyboard and keeping their mouse still while strafing into you you're at a disadvantage because the mouse is more free-form than the keyboard. This is why you have to use some counter-movements as well to match the aggressor. Either assume a different angle each time they're peeking out, place yourself in an unexpected area since you have the advantage of an open environment as opposed to them going through chokepoints usually, or just match their strafes with your own, don't rely on your defender's advantage 100% of the time as it will fail sometimes. Aso, note that if someone is peeking you going right (left from your perspective they have the advantage as recoil goes right initially on your end which will miss them, especially if you are backing up to a wall on the right and they have open space on the left (your perspective) , including the other directional possibilities etc. so adjust for all this (also if they are backing up a hill or going down it and you are just moving forward and backwards on flat ground you have the advantage because you can see the hill whereas they can't and it's more unpredictable for them whereas you're on flat ground (just my guess). Finally, there are usually 3 options when choosing which parts of the target to aim for listed in order of priority: 1. Aim for the head and pull down just enough halfway to keep the shots hitting the head area to go for quick headshots, and thus efficient wins. 2. Start at the body and pull down just enough halfway so that your shots eventually go up towards the head to the recoil, 3. Start at the body and keep the recoil centered at the body for body shots and a larger target.

I started using this yesterday and can tell you within 1 session I felt way more comfortable with aiming. Plus, when getting on this morning I broke my records on medium bots. THANKS!!!!!
I noticed a huge difference in my aim after i did this just once, my aim is now more precise and my hands are lesd shaky and i can 1 tap more pretty awesome

Thank you so much! After I switched off the mouse acceleration setting, I was able to aim so much better. The routine you deatailed in the video was really informative and helpful to me. Thanks for sharing and continue with the awesome content.
Man I totally forgot about disabling mouse acceleration after moving to a different pc. No wonder most of my flicks were overshooting. I ignorantly spent a month re-learning my sens with mouse accel.
it shouldn't actually make any difference at all since mouse input is taken directly by the game engine. windows mouse acceleration only makes a difference if you're not using raw input as in this scenario the mouse inputs would be passed to valorant by windows
@@mevgayming there isn't a world of difference or something. But the movement felt slightly cleaner now. I don't know if its p;lacebo or valorant was not using raw input.(Cause I don't see a mouse accel setting in val and there are people who like to play with accel on so maybe it gets from windows?)
P.R.E.M.S Method starts at 3:10 If you want a text summary here: 1. Practice bots no strafe infinite ammo + bot armor enabled. Just try to only tap heads for 2-3 minutes, go as slow as you need. 2. Go to the area near the practice bots that has the single bot and the target. Turn off infinite ammo and select the 30m option. Spray all your bullets with the phantom/vandal and try to keep it in the center. Once bullets are gone buy the rifle you didn't use and do it again. Repeat for 2 minutes. 3. Go back to the practice bots, turn on infinite ammo and turn on/off bot armor (doesn't matter). Buy a guardian/sherrif, set the bots to easy, and kill all 30 bots headshots only and go as slow as needed. 4. Do the same as above but with medium bots. Aim for 20 or more, 25+ if your aim is better. 5. Now select the eliminate 50 option, turn on infinite ammo and bot armor setting is irrelevant. Get onto the side of the bots and not in the main area. Put your crosshair on the bots head, strafe a bit keeping the crosshair on the head as much as possible, then kill it. Do this for all 50 bots, be as accurate as possible. After the routine, go into a deathmatch or 2, and practice crosshair placement, accuracy, and reaction time. Play without sound and rely only on visual input.
Thank you, this actually worked for me. There isn't an explosive amount of improvement but I've only been doing this for 3 days for 20 mins and my aim improved a lot.
I made a small adjustment to this method. I applied the metronome method to the Practice bot, kind of setting a time frame of about 2 minutes and starting with 80bpm I tried to not miss my shots. Once I felt my accuracy was over 95% I increased the speed to 85, then 90, currently on 130, already feeling that my aim is slightly better. The other tasks I'm doing as usual.
Enhance pointer precision has no effect on Valorant. The game is made in Unreal Engine 4 and uses raw mouse input, bypassing the settings that are in the OS. Long ago, games used Windows mouse settings, but nowadays they in most cases don't.
BRO I FREAKING LOVE YOU- This passed 3 weeks I’ve been practicing- I’ve been doing it but with mouse accelerator- &&’ I just turned it off &&’ I just beat my high score in gridshot by like 10,000+ score without even trying ! THANK YOU
Thanks for the no bs video, this is awesome! Edit: just want to follow up! This is helping me improve and the results are showing little by little. Sheriff on the eliminate 30 was lowkey genius, it helped me realize that I do rely on a follow up shot on the vandal sometimes to get the headshot when I miss (which is fine in matches, but not good when trying to aim train). Using the sheriff let me see what parts need to improve with my aim. Between this guide and your others on movement/positioning and Sena's guide on sens. It has only been a week and it's done wonders with helping improve my gameplay!
okay after 5 hours training this method between aim, peek and everything else i decided to test it, and i climbed from bronze 2 to silver 1, so it works, it really works, and find the perfect sentive controls for you. my bless to this guy.
Try hiding behind the boxes on practice and then peak for time to time while jett so there are only 3 or so bots to practice flicks and mechanical aim, this works especially well with the marshal and vandal.

This is actually insane. I did this for just 30 minutes and hopped into a game and I top fragged on my team with a 47% hs rate and 219 adr after usually dwindling on 17-18% hs and 147 adr.
I’m gonna recommend this routine to people whenever I get the chance.
how did it took you 30 mins
I tried this routine for maybe 30 mins today and then got into a deathmatch to practice crosshair placement. After a bit of warming up I got my first ever pentakill, and eventually I finished a deathmatch with 38 kills! Im gonna do this routine as much as I can, thanks Sero :) I've always been pretty bad at FPS games but this gives me hope
Hey brother... its been 5months, were you able to be consistent with the practice throughout till now ? and if so , how much have you improved ?
@@subratamondal738 The fact that you commented this is bizarre timing, I actually stopped playing for a few months but picked it back up again a few hours ago.
To answer your question, I did get considerably better back when I was practicing, but obviously since I haven't been at it in a while I'm basically back to square one lol
bro. the P part of PREMS actually got my aim so much better in no time. i've been so used to overflicking and then doing the microcorrection i had actually been doing that in my training. now that i focus on flicking exactly to the head i feel like i'm developing a certain feel of control i've never experienced before.
Really good guide for us newbies trying to learn the game and stuck in silver, appreciate the help man keep it up!
Real helpful, my friend in my roster was having some bad days in Valo and his aim was off so I recommended him this and he found this really helpful so thanks!
This works. PREMS is crazy good. I’ve been doing it for some time and I have noticed a huge difference in my aim. I get called a smurf because of the 1 tap capability you get from this routine. Keep up the good work Sero. Last month I was bronze just starting and after following what you have showed in your videos I have already hit gold. I’m looking forward to more videos. Keep up the good work man
how are you doing with the time man? have you been doing the method more? does it improved your aim even more? greetings
@@jaimecabreradev3461!!!!! do NOT put more than 1 hour in this practice as u get exhausted if u do too many hours resulting in bad results and ur skill will decrease and not improve, Better to do 1 hour a day every week than 2-3 hours a day alternatively and so on

This might be the best aim improvement vid ive ever seen.
Bro after doing these just for an hour. I got my highest kills in deathmatch 28 kills. Which is a lot for me man. Thanks a lot. Imo do as many death matches as you can. My sensitivity took time to get adjusted to. I felt my previous sense was just too sloppy. This time although it is slower. My shots are way more accurate.
i did this and got my first deathmatch win. im really happy with how well this works.
Hi Sero! I'm new to Valorant. I just started playing on August 5, 2022 and I got a coach who is an Immortal player to coach me. He suggested this video of yours to me as a warm up guide & training. An guess what, after 6 days I get to play competitive match and landed on Bronze 3.
Valorant is the very first fps game I played and I find it difficult to adjust coz I'm a dota 2 player in Immortal rank, so it's so hard to break my old habit.
I know I'm still far, but this video helped me a lot. So thanks man! I'll gonna go back to this comment after I become an Immortal player. Wish me luck!
As a boomer gamer who used to play organized sports at a semi pro level. This is the best bit of advice Ive seen on improving your skills and effective drills to create proper muscle memory. I started using this yesterday and can tell you within 1 session I felt way more comfortable with aiming. Plus, when getting on this morning I broke my records on medium bots. THANKS!!!!!
Yea so I just started playing yesterday cuz I was bored of minecraft and fortnite and this helped me a lot thanks
Ur movements are so good( i mean b hopping, tapping heads easily). U earned subscriber
yeah his movement is insane also i just finished my first valorant montage and if you could check it out that would be great!

Thank you SO much, this has been making me better and today I got 3 aces and match mvp twice in comp...
I noticed a huge difference in my aim after i did this just once, my aim is now more precise and my hands are lesd shaky and i can 1 tap more pretty awesome

content that is actually good and legit, saying real facts and info, really helped me out, thanks Sero!
I'm new to valorant and I've been doing his P.R.E.M.S method for a week and now my aim is better. Thank you, Sero.
Bro your sentences and explanations are spot on. You do a great job and should continue to do so in many venues. You're a great speaker!
Thank you so much! After I switched off the mouse acceleration setting, I was able to aim so much better. The routine you deatailed in the video was really informative and helpful to me. Thanks for sharing and continue with the awesome content.
What are talking about bro it doesn't affect valorant thats just mental🤦🏻
P.R.E.M.S Method starts at 3:10
If you want a text summary here:
Well summarized!
@@SeroGuides Ty, and thanks for the guide, it's the only routine that's actually helped me. I ranked up to silver 2 today cuz of it so thanks :D

Thank you
1. Is for 5 minutes. He said 2 songs since they're usually 2-3 minutes - @ 3:55
Thank you, this actually worked for me. There isn't an explosive amount of improvement but I've only been doing this for 3 days for 20 mins and my aim improved a lot.
I've never seen a Valorant guide with that much likes. Great Work!

It has only been a week and it's done wonders with helping improve my gameplay!
dude i fucking love you man... my aim went like perfect after this guide///// got two aces with 5 win streak much love man
okay after 5 hours training this method between aim, peek and everything else i decided to test it, and i climbed from bronze 2 to silver 1, so it works, it really works, and find the perfect sentive controls for you. my bless to this guy.
Try hiding behind the boxes on practice and then peak for time to time while jett so there are only 3 or so bots to practice flicks and mechanical aim, this works especially well with the marshal and vandal.

same bro. same!
But if u have aim acceleration on and u have reached plat then your muscle memory is built on aim acceleration and if u turn it off it might mess up ur aim
just remember everyone , the most important thing is having fun with what you’re doing.👍
When you aim do you look at the crosshair or the target?
If they are close to the center of my screen I look at crosshair, if they are far on the side I look at target.
