For problem 4 you could have worded it better, but everything else is well explained. What i mean about problem 4 is you should say make for example: Don't waste utility, but don't be afraid to use it and make sure that your smoke/what ever ustility is going to help your team
idk if its just me buut when i play in my high silver 3 elo everyone does everything mistake right. For example they all can counter strafe, around 20 percent headshot percentages, they have good util usage, and ect (except the instalock reynas who dont use there flashes)
Callouts are frustrating because teammates never listen or don’t know the map I can’t could how many times I’ve given the exact position of a player for a teammate to just ignore it and die
The main problem I have found is, if you try to get teammates to push off your util they are too scared to do it. when I ask smokers to wait for us to be out to smoke they dont listen. everyone is kinda just doing their own thing so teamwork feels impossible and like you have to carry or 2-3 stack to get out
I was iron 2 like 4 months ago and this month I started to practice and learn because I'm new to video games and I am silver 2. I don't think I deserve it tho because I played with my friends and had like 6 game win streak.
What an amazing video man I agreed with everything you said. I am usually an entry fragger and I run into the problem of people being too scared to enter site after I start clearing. That hit me in the heart lol 2 Seasons in a row I've made it to Silver 3 and then had a handful of bad/unlucky games and fell all the way down to bronze two. I shouldn't be in Silver and its frustrating. I am linking this video to some people I play with too lol. Thanks for the video man you break things down VERY well.
I started off in Silver 2 in Act 3 or the previous Act, not sure which one that is now, but I barely played it so I didn't really understand how good I was at the game and assumed I was decent, wrong. This act I played Silver a lot more, like A WHOLE LOT MORE. I had played 69 games from 24th January to 6th February (13 days), however I also played with a new sens that is 40% slower than what I used to. I played with 0.3 instead of 0.5 for 11 days. I practiced Aim Training and mechanics constantly through these 11 days as I had issues with my games. Oh btw I started this act in Bronze 3 and instantly lost more games than I could win, so I went into Bronze 2 rather quickly. I happened to be promoted to Bronze 3 around 8 times within those 69 games. Yes, 69 games and promoted that many times. So now yesterday I reached Silver 1 in 69 games and 13 days and about 35 hours of game time. My aim is improving and becoming more deadlier by the day, however I am more focused about my mechanics and game sense, as that is the best way to win with god aim.
I made it to gold, had 56rr into it, now I’m on the down rank train and can’t figure out what has changed other than the amount of Smurfs back in silver 1 lobbies
So, I typically play as Killjoy, and I’m pretty good at holding down spots with her. I’ve never had someone complain about my play style, but as soon as I got into silver I’ve been getting a lot of crap for not wanting to be the first one to push onto site. The last game I played I had three duelists on my team and a Breach, and the Raze who was bottom fragging was giving me crap the whole time we were on the attacker side for playing that way. Am I playing the character wrong on attack? Should I be more aggressive and be the first to push?
You’re playing right. Those teammates are just looking for someone to blame. Continue playing the way you are and you’ll gradually move up. Don’t mind those teammates, there’s always gonna be people like that, just do you
@@dominicmallare7186 Thank you for the reply. I watched a couple videos on Killjoy to find some thing I could do to help on the attack side and I feel a lot more confident with helping on the push as long as I’m not the first to push.
I agree with everything except 8. In silver entrys don't play how he explained. They don't play to clear angles they play for kills so sometimes it's hard to play off them how he explained
I have good vandal taps as well as good spray. I have okayish game sense. Still stuck in silver because i dont have patience and i push in defense only to find two players waiting for me.
"Running while shooting" Bro, counter strafing does jack shit when you get swung by some dude run and gun who shoots you twice in the head. The Randomness of the spray pattern is a massive issue. When running and gunning there is a tangible chance that your bullet will land exactly where someone's head on the screen is. In Counter Strike the spray pattern is always the same, so both sides know exactly what to expect of the damn guns.
Record your games and you’ll see how many of these mistakes you’re making. There’s no way you’re not making these mistakes and in bronze.your ego is getting in the way of you improving
@@dangle4641 I record some of my games, and I assure you. I'm not making these mistakes. I'm not inflated by my "ego" I barely have any. I'm not saying that I'm the best player out there, i still believe that there's a lot more that I can learn and improve upon. The highest rank i got was silver 3, but then I went down to the elo hell. And i don't have any friends to queue with which forces me to play solo q which isn't the best experience hence no one communicates nor listens to your comms. Even worse, i got placed in Iron 1 after finishing the new act placements which they ended in a loss even tho i was top fragging. It might sound like the typical inflated by their ego jack shit, but my solo q teammates are what's holding me back. I tried playing a support agent but no one tries to go on site and capitalize on the smokes I put or the enemies I reveal. I tried taking the initiative and playing a duelist, but no one pushes after me when I get on site, they keep doing the "not pushing with your teammate" mistake. So I end up alone on site for a while and the bomb is still not down, or they aren't there to trade my death. No matter what agent i play or playstyle i take, it's not helping due to the teammates I get paired with. I'm not saying that everyone I get paired with sucks, I do indeed get some decent teammates. But compared to the bad teammates I get, it's a 1 in 8. Solo queuing in valorant is hard and not as easy as it is in CS because of the agent abilities. It makes hard to carry an entire team by yourself if the other team uses their abilities, it doesn't have to be in a perfect way, but your teammates don't use any.
nah i was a gold 2 a few moths back now i got back to the game even im in silver and i can't get out cuz of trasz teamates i main sage always have more kills than duelist and match mvp but still lose
What do you consider "one swipe of your mousepad"? Is that from one edge to the other edge, or from where your mouse is center and you flick to the edge?
I had two chill play for fun unrated games today that are described very well by the tenth problem. First game I was match mvp brimstone on haven defending. We pushed pretty much every round. I usually played with viper and one round we started the round and there was no info on the map for where the enemies were so I knew that they were probably waiting for us to push so they could kill us. I told viper to stay back and they didn't listen. I was fine with it and humored when all four of my pushing teammates died and I was left 1v5 after staying back on a site. I killed two of the enemies and died. We won the game later. Some other game i was playing killjoy attacking on ascent. I was watching mid with my bot and my gameplay wasn't great. I did fine but the enemies did well at countering me. The problem was that my reyna and sage were scared to push anything, they baited me and our newbie teammates that were cool and didnxt trade and died. After losing some rounds they just started trying to peek mid which is where I was playing. It was annoying. We didn't need three people standing mid not doing anything each beginning of the round so I was trying to tell them to not take my job and push onto site with the rest of the team while I hold mid and the sage before I even finished said something toxic to me like "shut up, you suck." I knew the game was not winnable and one newbie went afk so I managed to ff.
This is so true. My problem in this game is the aim, I always spray and aim the floor. And I've been improving that. But the information is so critical... I get pissed with people that don't talk all all or just assume that everyone is looking at the map all time so we all have the same information... Or we agree to rush and half the team rushed and half stays back....
One thing I've noticed is that whenever someone is better they're a smurf, as if its impossible to figure out how to climb. There are 5 entire ranks and at least 13 divisions above you, you think that people can't figure out one or two common mistakes to abuse against players in your games?
@Ben Dover horrible tip. Only comm important things and having less ego means overall less playmaking. Playing with confidence is the key to climbing. Being a bitch might be better in the shortrun, yes, but eventually if you play with confidence and ego peak within reason not only will your play making go up but so will your aim and reaction time
I'm having a problem. I'm stuck in bronze 1, and although these "how to get out of bronze or silver" videos make good points, I already apply these to my gameplay and personally, I think I play pretty alright. I believe that if you can't get out of a rank, there's probably a reason why. However, I have no idea why I can't rank up, and multiple people have told me I play like a silver or that I play really well for a bronze 1. Has anyone had this problem?
Yes. Me. I was hardstuck iron and I got out by locking reyna and carrying my team and me to bronze, I'm currently bronze 3 and I play a lot of unrated. My teammates tell me that I play very well for bronze and even when I was iron I was told I was playing very well. I main viper and multiple times people have said I'm the best viper they've ever has in their game. I think depending on how good you are if you really are far below where you should be you should be able to carry yourself by just using a carrying agent like reyna till you get better teammates and then too good opponents.
@@hannahhagans1861 Ok that's helpful. I main Omen, but normally I fill in after everyone has picked and I end up playing a controller or Sage. Have you not had a problem with smurfs? And how do you carry by yourself if you play against them? Because it's doable to pick off a couple of them, but when your teammates die and it's a 1v3 against smurfs, it's almost impossible to win.
@@Wafflecasa I have not really had problems that are from smurfs. I imagine that higher ranks like platinum are where you would have matches full of smurfs. When I play right now I feel evenly matched. If you are having trouble with smurfs I would forget about brawn and just try to use brains to get free kills to make a difference every round. Like if the smurf is in a 1v5 situatiom they aren't gonna have good odds of winning cause they are probably only 2-5 ranks below their main. Basically, if you can't out gun the enemy out smart them. Use their weaknesses against them and improve to become better in general.
I knew I shouldn't have listened to my plat friends telling me "turn off comms till you get to gold 2. There's just nothing but toxicity rn," Didn't help that I was the only one (we usually 3 queue) that can hear the other two people if they even say anything so it's all sorts of fucked
yeah an issue i see with silvers is sensitivity, a sens considered high is 0.47 on 800dpi, and some of these people play like 3 on 800dpi I made my friend change his from 1 on 800 to 0.47 to try it, the sens might seem slow at first but his aim jurrastically improved

8:14 my thoughts exactly in every game of Valorant
11:17 the reason i dont tap is because the other kids just spray
So many matches where simple callouts would’ve made the game an easy win
What an amazing video man I agreed with everything you said. I am usually an entry fragger and I run into the problem of people being too scared to enter site after I start clearing. That hit me in the heart lol
2 Seasons in a row I've made it to Silver 3 and then had a handful of bad/unlucky games and fell all the way down to bronze two.
Great vid man ❤️
I agree with everything except 8. In silver entrys don't play how he explained. They don't play to clear angles they play for kills so sometimes it's hard to play off them how he explained
I have so much positive stuff to say about this video and how it's helped me but let me keep it short. Thanks ☆
How to get out of silver : easy , just fix your aim by hitting aim lab and pray that them mfs smurfs are on your team
tysm i used your tips and finally after 4 acts got out of silver and i thought i would leave a good comment to say how much this video helped
subscribed. Really informative and that hit me to the core
is 800dpi and .43 in-game sens good?
the new rankings systems really be bs i’m a silver playing with high gold with low plat
Same
bro thank you so much much love
Been doing all of this for a while. Instructions not clear, my team mates are still broken
Reasons why I'm still stuck at silver is :
1. Noob teammates
2. Afk Teammates
3. SMURFERS
none of the things you mentioned are really a problem for me they used to be but my main problem is bad teammates but thats an uncontrolable factor
Dragonmar: How to get out silver
Me: How to get in silver
Everyone's taking about how to get out of silver while I'm trying to get into silver
Awesome content, I'm silver player and I hope to get out of it asap! Glad I discovered your channel bro
Can we get one of playing off info and rotating?
Sometimes my team rotates too early or too late, also sometimes they won't play off of info
When you don't do any of these mistakes but you're stuck in Bronze
Are u sure dont these mistakes? Thats make u stuck in Bronze
@@Asdas777 Yes I'm sure.
its Nytro start playing duelists and don’t trust/rely on your teamates
The three major problems for silver is over rotating, 5 man pushing a site every round and not knowing what defaulting is
nah i was a gold 2 a few moths back now i got back to the game even im in silver and i can't get out cuz of trasz teamates i main sage always have more kills than duelist and match mvp but still lose
As a Bronze (I think I deserve Iron 1 but thanks Valo ranked system for raising my self-esteem xD) this is still super helpful :D
Congrats on going full time! 🥳
One thing I've noticed is that whenever someone is better they're a smurf, as if its impossible to figure out how to climb. There are 5 entire ranks and at least 13 divisions above you, you think that people can't figure out one or two common mistakes to abuse against players in your games?
Thanks for your very nice information. helped a lot.
I get this all. The problem is that my Silver random teammates won't watch this
Got to silver 3, went all the way to bronze 3, now I’m back to silver 3 and so scared
Don't know what happened To me. No wins for quite a few days. I have demoted from gold two to bronze three😔
Me too feels like im doing everything wrong
Lmao
@Ben Dover horrible tip. Only comm important things and having less ego means overall less playmaking. Playing with confidence is the key to climbing. Being a bitch might be better in the shortrun, yes, but eventually if you play with confidence and ego peak within reason not only will your play making go up but so will your aim and reaction time
I'm hardstuck in silver 2 and the actual problem for me is my mates couse if their dying once they are raging and quitting so I have to do a 3 v 5
But is that every single game?
Can you make a video on mouse sensitivity ?
The reason why i run and gun is because i see my opponent walking and shotting and getting hits so out of tile i do that sometime
I knew I shouldn't have listened to my plat friends telling me "turn off comms till you get to gold 2. There's just nothing but toxicity rn," Didn't help that I was the only one (we usually 3 queue) that can hear the other two people if they even say anything so it's all sorts of fucked
Okokok.. I’m iron 3, i already so all these tips even before this video, and i can’t get out
yeah an issue i see with silvers is sensitivity, a sens considered high is 0.47 on 800dpi, and some of these people play like 3 on 800dpi
I made my friend change his from 1 on 800 to 0.47 to try it, the sens might seem slow at first but his aim jurrastically improved
Bro I’m silver 2 now and I just played a match where we lost 12-2 lead and my sage and Jett were 7-22 and 9-23 while I was 38-19 like bro what am I supposed to do about that
Same im bronze and i always get 40-60 kills but my team always dies to the last 2-3 players
So happy that your full time!
@Dragonmar I am hardstuck silver2 so i am planning to switch to a new agent(Suggest me one agent) and should i consider using viper (currently I use raze and omen)
I dont like playing jett or reyna
Sova or breach
Don't switch the agents you play, at a lower rank like silver the agent you are playing is not the biggest factor in why you are not climbing, I would stick to focusing all your efforts on improving your decision making and aim instead of wasting energy learning a new agent
@@aravindkandarpa7472 lmao exactly im silver 1 and i refuse to believe that i deserve a better rank. Your agent doesnt change your success all that much compared to basic fundamentals.
Its all game sense and good aim. Like it takes time.
The spike trick i think is very good but the sages in my team actually forget to plant or are always planting in default
People act like these vids still apply. By now SIlver is more like plat lobbies 7 months ago.
My problem is that the sentinals don’t like carrying the spike, so me as a duelist is forced to carry the spike and when I die they blame it on me.
sent this to a buddy of mine so we can try and learn how to get a bit better together.
