@@ItxFliXz you can also play an agent like killjoy or cypher as it will help you get familiar with the mini map. But it is advisable to play agents like cypher or killjoy with a team of people you know and can communicate with

On Ascent
Yeah as a new player I was thinking this is one of the best videos I have seen so far... if I use Brimstone which I havnt even touched yet
you could apply it to any kind of place-able smoke (Omen, Viper, Cypher, and now Astra)
Ascent was used but if you look at most of the maps in game they all have a mid center
Bind is a bit trickier because the teleport makes a really loud noise and is an instant rotate from A > B hookah or B Long to A Showers.
You want to play off your teammates as well but you don't want to make it easy for you to get killed so precise timing is everything. The video is good knowledge especially for people wanting to play comp. You can frustrate A LOT of people by placing ineffective smokes, not playing off their death etc. And a lot of people create the hellscape that is Iron/Bronze Elo. I'm bronze so that's why I'm here I'm tired of ass teammates and for the most part I'm trying to learn more of using them as bait and intentionally as well. If they aren't useful for their gameplay they can be useful for something else. (as toxic as that sounds, they don't have me to blame)

"They wont expect anyone to be behind them this fast", see this is where you were wrong, low elo players have no conception of time or common angles, they will pick a random angle and hold it, no matter how unlikely it is someone is there

I ended up with 9 match mvp losses in a row. I was gold before acts even existed and double ak in cs, got placed bronze 2 and have been slowly grinding my way out, sometimes you just can’t help ur teammates honestly, I’ve just started maining viper and solo holding site on defense or cutting off a corner of site with wall to get a free plant on attack, so far its gotten me to silver 2 so ig its working lol.
this happens aton...imma get a full on 35 kills and then my team would be so dumb...dumb as in buy a vandal when they cant control the spectre recoil

watching and I only learned three things total from the time I've been playing, ur sens should be high enough that you can flick 180 degrees comfortably but not so high that you can't shoot people, moving and shooting is not how this game works, even tho that what everyone does, and that crosshair placement is a thing lol, idk why but they never taught me anything else

Your rank is determined on how you played first unrated games and then on how somehow adjusted on how you played first 5 ranked.
If you play like Iron player and somehow manage to win all 5 games (it’s possible), you won’t be ranked as Platinum, you probably get Bronze, maybe max Silver.

Not a bad thing here, because he's baiting properly, and specifying that he follows them in. This is the correct way to bait, otherwise known as a trade, and should be used almost all the time, as long as you don't play duelists. If you play a duelist, you should tell your team to follow you in, and that way they can trade kills easy

I never knew mid control could be this impactful. I always avoided mid because I never learnt how to utilise it properly other than peeking it with a marshal, very informative
Mid control in my opinion is the best because if your team is stupid they will rotate mid, which gives us if they’re rotating or not, even if they go from spawn we can see from b lobby, but yea mid is important as frick, free picks, catching people off guard, overall a good place to play, especially if the other team has good aim, if you guys take mid then they can’t get picks other than sites

13:10 i usually like to smoke just one of those 2, if i go to A i smoke arches, if i go to B, the one for catwalk, just for 2 reasons, 1 i save 1 smoke for later on the round and 2, usually it's not a good idea to smoke your own path, and even more if you are attacking a tight space like cat

i love how surprized you had to confirm that the raze was afk like it was unbelievable. Im an iron 2 that fell from 99/100 on iron 3 twice. On my rank up game to get back 2 iron 3 i was left in a 3v5 at 9-5. Luckily one of the 2 players was actually top frag with me and we were irl friends in a party so we had gud coms. Still lost 11-13

No. Rotating is extreamly common in ranks as low as bronze 2.

I deranked all the way down from Gold 2 to Silver 1.
I deranked because I was too focused about making complex strategies or giving the best callouts possible, when in reality, I'm just playing with and against bad players.
I just needed to take it easy and make more simple strategies to win the game
That is me right now just dropped to silver 3 getting match mvp or team mvp when we lose and of course i get minus elo for losing but what exactly am i supposed to do?

I have stayed in iron hell for so long that i have trancended iron demons and became the iron demon king. When i ascended into rusty gold or bronze, i was wrecking everyone until i became hardstuck in silver because i keep getting matched with golds

6:56 tip: your running / walking speed is the same aiming backwards or forwards, always aim at the enemy if it can show up from a spot when retreating
It's just baiting,giving it a tactical name "second man position" doesn't make it ok,it's just dumb and will eventually make you lose the game since the guys you were baiting will eventually wait for you to push instead of them.If you pick a duelist don't expect cypher and sage to push before you,they're going to wait for you or keep camping while defending,it's normal.If you solo queu and you have bad teammates that's it you're fucked you can't do shit,taking mid won't solve the problem if all of the enemy team pushed B and killed 3 of your teammates.

One thing that seriously increased my round wins on offense was being the lurker and the one to take and try to maintain some kind of mid or rotate control, as well as taking initiative to call plays for the team
At low elo I feel like most people aren't confident enough to tell the team to try something, don't be afraid...be confident, make all the callouts you can when you're dead if your teammates aren't calling things out
