Dragonbreaks: • The MOST Confusing Con...
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.
The game's main story revolves around the player character and their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The videogame is set two hundred years after the events of Oblivion, and takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.

Savos Aren sealed labrynthian with a wooden plank on the back door, amazing display of power
Don't forget the torch, also he killed his friends and enthralled them to keep morokei in captive. Kinda to give him some credit..
@@codelyoko2889 did he kill them? I thought they died in the fight, and since he was unable to kill morokei alone he enthralled the bodies of the two to seal morokei off. He apologized for forcing them to stay behind even in their death, or maybe I'm just talking outta my ass.
We, the dragonborn have mastered magic and combat. We slow time with our voice. We decide wars and read elder the elder scrolls.
But a door barred from the other side? Beyond the scope of our power
Tbh planks stop the dragonborn, someone who should be able to shout fortresses to pieces.
It’s the ultimate defense against the Dragonborn 👍
I wish we were able to walk around the past version of Labyrinthian when wearing the wooden mask.
I felt so robbed not being able to.
True, it would be so cool if that when you find the mask, it transfer you to the actual city and you get to walk around it or do quests
There's a mod that does this called bromjunaar haven. FYI it's for Oldrim though, no idea if it works with SSE.
@@AmorphisBob bless you kind person 🙏🏿

I use the Dragon Priest mask room as my own personal extra dimensional trophy vault. It's where I keep my deadric artifacts, dragon claws, unique items and equipment, priest masks (obviously), etc. And I even leave a ton of jewels and gold lying around for added aesthetic.
Does it actually count as safe storage? I never thought about using it after i get all the masks.
@@MLPDethDealr32
The Vault has a Boss Chest, a small chest, and 3 urns. It counts as safe storage in case you ever leave the masks there, but the entire room is safe storage.
all it takes is a single misclick on the wooden mask in one of those chests and you are fucked beyond belief and any way of saving. unless you reloaded the auto save but thats besides the point.

That soundtrack as he walked away.

Labryinthian is one of those locations were the more you know about it's lore, the more you appreciate the location itself.
OK but why was I so surprised to find out Labyrinthian actually had a labyrinth you could go to even though it's called Labyrinthian
The city inside should be a labyrinth as well as shown in Arena but Bethesda was lazy or something
Its very easy to miss. I missed it the first few times i played.
It has a maze district that Nazeem gets to quite often.
Yeah. I was put out by that too.
Stephen Fairchild Alas, I wish Nazeem had fallen prey to the maze. But, it looks like he knows de wae. 😁
Someone needs to make a mod that makes Labyrinthian bigger, like the Arena one.
I remember discovering the Labrynthian on my first playthrough ever and it was breathtaking in a way. I felt so anxious exploring every nook and cranny. I really wish we could’ve seen it in its prime.

It is truly unfortunate that you can't even call the labyrinth in Labyrinthian a labyrinth at all. It doesn't have any forks along the path, just a riddle, and an easy riddle at that. Since it gives you all the staves you need, someone with almost no knowledge of magic at all can easily complete the labyrinth, much less an arch-mage. I want to see a mod someday that makes the labyrinth an actual maze and actually test the knowledge and abilities of the prospective arch mage.
MaxTheMaximumGamer labyrinths and mazes are different. Mazes have many branches however labyrinths do not, they only have one path. If it had forks it would not be a labyrinth
@Lord Protector Skyrim is rated M, so the question is why would a younger kid be playing. I'm not talking about teens, since they will do things they want to do whether or not they are supposed to, but a kid? Besides, the only way to feel like a mighty mage is to be tested appropriately, and succeed through magic or knowledge; however, getting a better labyrinth in the Labyrinthian won't change the fact that the College quests and the like are very stupid and anyone can become the archmage.
Paige C ya beat me to it
Plus it is a ruin whats wrong with that?
@Michael Bates
One of the reasons I got the Faction Requirements mod for Skyrim is because of that fact that anyone can become Archmage. I now have to earn that place by actually being good at magic :O
Likewise I can't even do Brynjolf's scheme to plant Madesi's ring on Brand-Shei because I don't have a high enough Pickpocket skill to start the quest, no Thieves' Guild for me until I can actually be a thief.
Go cast your fancy magic someplace else.
In past, Nord's massively used magic and even Nord heroes used it.

@@danielkizziar6193 Yeah but LoreMaster within me cannot resist.
I'm with the Guild. Will this settle it?
Mai'q wishes you well
Wait, if the schools of magic are more or less arbitrary categorizations, how does the "labyrinth" know if the spell cast is appropriate? Like, if someone went inside during the late 4th Era, would casting paralyze at the Illusion keystone work? What if when Shalidor built the "maze," sun-based combat spells were considered Destruction magic. Why don't they work on the Destruction keystone?
(I put "maze" and "labyrinth" in quotes because it's not actually a maze; there's just the one path you follow)
... It's magic...
A very deep story. Makes me want to go back and play Skyrim all over again. Man it’s been 7 years since I’ve played it too. It’s unbelievable how fast time flies. @@SlimeBlueMS Crazy, huh?
I've always asked myself if there is more to Labyrinthion than we actually saw. I spent hours searching for the Glamoril and never found it..did Bethesda forgot to put it in?
Labyrinthian should be a labyrinth like in Arena. There was no mention of the Staff of Chaos, no mention of the Glamoril, overally it was a huge misopportunity like most things in Skyrim :(

Skyrim has to rebuild winterhold and helgen first lol
Awesome topic! My favorite place in the vanilla game because it's actually three locations in one! The ruin containing Morokei, his mask and the Staff of Magnus; Arch Magus Shalidor's Labyrinth which I think should still be a requirement to become Arch Mage and the draugr dungeon Lost Valkygg which contains the Wooden Mask. Top it all off with TWO word walls and you have the makings of an outstanding, must visit location.
For me, it wasn't just the lore that made it special, but the fact that Labyrinthian has been around since Arena. It also makes Shalidor part of the original lore. Since he is mentioned in the caption for Labyrinthian, when you first load into the dungeon.
I literally stumbled into the actual labyrinth the day before this was uploaded. Talk about uncanny
Well produced and informative
Best location in all of Skyrim.

I have always kinda been waiting for a mod dedicated to letting you explore the time where the altar was whole and labyrinthian was the grand city it used to be. I really think it would be a fun way to experience skyrim, going back in the past to see what life in the dragon cult really was like and all that.
I recently finished creating an ancient dragon priest build. You can has a look on the Tamriel Vault. It's called The Reaver. (Uses Ordinator). It was alot of fun exploring the lore around the dragons and ancient nords.
It almost seems as though Tamriel as a whole has regressed as time has gone by. Keep up the awesome videos guys always keen for some more lore!

Hey Fudgemuppet, I have a Skyrim character build I would like to share with you. The argonian investigator. Skills are conjuration, illusion, alchemy speach, lockpicking, sneak, archery and one handed.
Hailing from the argonian occupied territories of southern Morrowind, the investigator was born to a modest family. His father served as a warrior during the invasion and as such was often away from his family for long periods of time, leaving the investigator and his siblings in their mother's care. Early on he showed a deep curiosity of the world around him and whenever he wanted something he found a way to get his claws on it. As the investigator grew his curiosity pushed him to look further for new information and experiences. He started sneaking into restricted areas and picking his way into homes; not for gold, but for knowledge; always able to talk his way out of trouble when he was caught. One day he pushed his luck a bit too far and entered the house of an older mage. The investigator began to look through the collection of tomes but while he sat among the piles of scrolls the mage who lived there returned. The investigator begged the dunmer woman not to turn him to the guards, explaining he was only curious about magic and that he hadn't taken anything. The dunmer woman eventually gave in and let him go. The argonian began to return to the woman's home and began asking her more about magic. Even eventually letting him borrow her tomes for study. A few years passed and the argonian investigator had started working to help provide for his family. It was a thankless job and he hated it but the little bit of coin he got to keep he used with the caravans, always on the lookout for scrolls and information on the outside world. Months went by of this without any sign of his father and the lack of gold started to take a toll on the family until eventually a stranger, wearing similar armor to the investigator's father, came to the door with a small purse of gold and a sober expression. All of them knew what that meant. The The investigator's father had disappeared after sent out scouting and was presumed dead or captured and sold to one of the dunmer houses to the north. The investigator knew what he was going to do. The gold would be able to support his family for a while and he returned to the mage woman one final time. He explained the situation to her of his father's disappearance and asked if she would help watch out for his family until he could find his father. She agreed to his request and before he left gave him some of her books on magic as a final parting gift. The investigator returned to his family once more and told them he was going to find their father. He joined up with the occupation forces, lending his skills as a scout. This allowed him a chance to find information on his father's whereabouts and still provide to his family. As a scout he was trained with a bow but took to a pair of daggers when the situation got close. The investigator did not care much for killing and instead spent most of his time collecting information and helping his groups alchemist gather ingredients and craft potions. The craft reminded him of his time learning magic with the dark elf woman from his youth. His time at made him tired and he missed his family dearly but then one day while trying to get information from the traveling merchants one made reference to an argonian that made the investigator jump. The travelers gave the name of his father. He had been serving a house and had been made to carry out some of the goods the merchants bought. He could hardly believe it. His eyes grew wide and his heart ached knowing his father was still alive. He quickly gathered his belongings requested to be made a spy so he could go look for his father. The investigator was given permission and left immediately. He searched through the cities of the dark elves, making notes of their movements and resources and sending them back to the occupation while also being closer to his father. His had never felt so alive as he did hiding in plain sight. Even with all the dirty looks he was given by the dark elves he won their trust over and over again, loosened their tongues and gave every word back to his kin in the south, with no one the wiser. This was the life he was meant for. Deceit and espionage were in his blood. Eventually he found his way to his father's last location and learned he had managed to stowaway on a ship bound for skyrim. He quickly turned for the mountains to find his father and being him home, however, the investigator quickly finds himself lost and is captured by the legion to be brought to helgen.
The character will quickly accept the role of dragonborn, seeing it as a way to earn trust and legitimacy with others and a way to get information. He join the companions for similar reasons and especially to seek out what power they may me hiding however you may cure your lycanthropy should you feel it doesn't fit your playstyle. He will also join the collage of winterhold and the thieves' guild to get more knowledge on magic and the people of skyrim. However he will not join the dark brotherhood for not his dislike of killing and because the dead can't tell you their secrets. In the dawn guard DLC the investigator will be interested in the vampires' power but disagree with them morally so how you roleplay this is really up to you. He will also definitely pursue the questline for the dragonborn DLC seeing another opportunity to learn and gather power.
Feel free to edit or update the build for your own use but I thought this would be a fun character.
I hope you've made note as to who's been most helpful during your stay here archmage.

You guys did really good mic work with this video, especially for that ~1st half. Some good stuff right there.
Why does Drew voice fit so well with the Lore videos
Exploring labrynthian was one of my best and most surreal skyrim experiences. Really one of the most significant highlights
Props to Bethesda withthe storytelling they did around the wooden mask, I was just finishing reading the note when I looked up and saw that the guy did, indeed, get stabbed in the chest, with a skeleton with an iron sword in the ribs and all
Ahh Drew’s calm voice and all this info is the best, instantly makes me wanna take a crack at labarynthian in my current play through
In some names the J would be pronounced as Y as it’s not English.
The j in bromjunar? So it would be More like Old Norse. It would be Bromyunar, Kind of like how the word Gjallarhorn is pronounced Yallarhorn.
Druidball Yes exactly that
Jeagar
Yes because Germanic languages do that for example, scandinavian and german.
Does Draconic have the hard J sound in its lexicon?? Because Bromjunar is a Dragon word not a Nord word in game.
Hmmm... I don't remember that last time travel quest at all...
Anyway, thanks for putting the big picture together. This lore stuff can get quite convoluted at times.
It's not a quest. You have to figure it out.
Fun drinking game: take a shot every time Scott says "Bromjunaar" wrong.
I know it's old comment, but how do say it properly
@@XJonAye I believe it'd be "brohm-yuu-nahr", but don't quote me on that.
Could the Equilibrium spell tome found in Labyrinthian be the source of life you mentioned? Seems like a stretch but we've seen weirder lore.
Sad to say that a lot of college mages died in there...
Always lovely hearing a British fella tell a story right before bed...
so if you have all 9 masks would you get transported too another time on the game?
Thank you Drew & Fudge Muppet guys, once again. In my latest playthrough, I am currently following the College of Winterhold questline & just got the quest to retrieve the Staff of Magnus, so I will be heading to this location shortly. I love the intricate and storied history of the locale. My worst memory of this place was in Oldrim, when I made the mistake of bringing a companion, Lydia, with me. There was a glitch which would get companions stuck in there and unable to leave the premises. I believe this may have even been in the outdoor portion of the site. It was likely patched in the unofficial patch and on SSE’s version, but I refuse to take chances, + I am using a multiple follower mod on XB1, so I will leave them close by & complete it myself. I always wondered about the mysterious wooden mask that didn’t appear to do much, in relation to other dragon priest masks. Now I know why. I, too, as many others have voiced, would have loved it if donning the wooden mask would have transported us back in time to see this remarkable place in all its former glory and do a few quests before returning to the present day ruins.
What if Nazeem is Jyggulag?
I'd be pissed he didn't give me a daedric quest.
I somehow doubt that Jyggulag gets to the cloud district often.
Was it Jyggulag who became sh1t/Malacath? Welp, Nazeem looks like sh1t, behaves like sh1t, so I guess your theory is correct. Oh, or was it Trinimac? I can't remember.
@ducky momo oh okay. I just wanted to confirm the Nazeem-excrament theorem. It seems its not canon then... My bad
Jygglag is sheo, but Jygglag is Prince of order, and sheogorath is madness.
Nice. Just got my old 360 working again. May have to fire it up for some old vanilla skyrim!
I’m glad to see your still going with the Skyrim content. Well done and good luck.
I think the TES canon says it was an unknown guy from the College Of Winterhold who fought Morokei.
Yeah if the storyline dint metion the player(you) that your a dragonborn its not really canon....the dragonborn part
I never understood the timeline of frost elf, nordic people and dragons. When did dragons rule Skyrim? They were worshipped in Atmora. But did they were worshipped in Skyrim when frost elfs were the rulers of Skyrim? If not, then did the dragons helped nords to conquer skyrim from frost elfs? Frost elfs were advanced race. It was less likely the nordic people defeated them entirely without some help, like the dragons.
Aga Khan the human races reproduce much faster than the elf races so the first Atmorans outnumbered them and help from the dragons was not needed.
@@leofernandez2705 Atmorans didn't outnumbered them as far as I know. They would've, if elfs didn't interfered in Saarthal. And Frost elfs were defeated after Atmoran reinforcements came. But my real question is, when the dragons were worshipped? If they were worshipped in Atmora, then they might have helped the Nords.
@@Akash-jz2vf this is late response, but dragon worships were practiced long ago, when Atmorans set foot on Skyrim. The first dwelers of the lands were the Dragons of course, in which they rule the entirety of the region. After the departure of Mer or Elves in their true homeland, they choose to travel to Tamriel, and each were seperated and became a race of their own after the adaptation in certain regions. Then elves came to Skyrim which later became Snow Elves. Dragons saw potential in men, thus why Kynareth blessed them with speech, as according to lore _they do not have the ability to speak_ perhaps they were taught a more efficient language rather than primitive. This is were the Thu'um's came to be.
Dragons wouldn't help as they were a neutral creatures
Not to mention, Dragons weren't in trouble with the snow elves back in the late merethic and first era so they wouldn't care to interfere in a conflict between two races.
Seems like the Ancient Nords had more sophisticated urban centres.
I love you guys, just went through this last night with my recent play through and was wondering if you had a video on it. Perfect.

Suggestion: A Spartin build.
"What is up, guys? Mich-Scott here with a new build from MudgeFuppet. This is the spartan. Now like always, there are no timestamps, because this is a comment you dipsh*t. The Spartan was born in Sparta to two Spartans, his father a soldier, and his mother who died in childbirth. His father would teach the spartan how to use a sword and wield a shield before taking him to the academy, where the spartan would train in combat. In his service one day, the spartan was accidentally summoned by a mage in Cyrodiil. Out of fear and confusion, the Spartan murdered the mage in cold blood before running as fast as he could in whatever direction he could find. He was captured crossing the border in Skyrim where the game begins.
The Spartan will be most comfortable using scaled armor, leather bracers, leather boots, and an imperial helmet (not ro be mistaken with an imperial officer's helmet). He will use an imperial short sword, as it closely resembles the bronze swords from his homeland, and a round shield. He will at first use a banded iron shield but will then either use the shield of Ysgrammor or the Targe of the Blooded, depending on how your spartan feels about magic and offense.
At some point, the spartan will have to come to terms with the fact that he will never see home again. This may happen during or after your playthrough. If he feels hopeless, he may commit suicide or have more suicidal tendencies, or he may accept his new life and live out his days in Skyrim. If the spartan were more romantically inclined, he would have a large bias towards the races of men. That said, he would still likely join the imperial army, as their tactics are more familiar than the barbaric Stormcloaks.
You could also subvert the spartan's realization by giving him a fantasy that he could go back home. If an elder scroll can bring a dragon through time, maybe it could bring him back to Sparta. He would dedicate himself to Hermaeus Mora in order to gain power and learn how to get back home."
My wish for this video has finally been answered! Thanks so much, Drew! Amazingly told as always! :)
People keep saying that he mispronounced Bromjunar, but he didn’t. Bromjunar is a Dragon word, not a Nord or Atmoran word, so the J is pronounced as a J not a Y.
I know I’m about a decade late, however, if you go back into the area with the enthralled wizards where you face Morokei, after you’ve finished the quest, you can get a second Staff of Magnus. I went back through again months later because I wanted to see if Ancano’s colleague Estormo was still there. I read that his body doesn’t reset so I was gonna dead thrall his Thalmor ass. Got a second staff of Magnus from the remains of Morokei.
Edit :
Estormo’s body wasn’t there. Must have left the area for too long. Shame really, I did so want to add him to my collection.
I use the room in the basement of the Solitude player home to store my dead thralls.
It’s getting a little crowded. I even have a couple of dragon cultist’s whose bodies never reset for those times when you need a meat shield
What if Khonarik is the secret of life?
It does make you really tanky.
Everytime I find the wooden mask I'm like,"but why do I got to wear it after finding all the other masks, just take this ancient nordic pick axe and snap that bad boy open and take Kahnaarik from the present day."
For a place called a labyrinth it isn't. So what the hell Skyrim? It was in Arena. Do not tell me it changed over time. It was Bethesda as usual not caring about consistency. It would have been so much better had this dungeon been a actual labyrinth. That way you would have to figure your way around. Skyrim would have to not place a go here marker. There is a small maze in a smaller section. Why isn't it in the main one? This was a missed opportunity.
True, they should make the maze AND the city as labyrinths, I was excited to go to this complicated labyrinth in Skyrim but it turned out it's a linear dungeon
That is because the Labyrinthian that we see in Skyrim its only a half of the true complex, notice that one of the main routes to the deepest parts of the city are blocked
Maybe half of the city collapsed during Talin's journey to get the staff of chaos after he freed the two brothers
it is a ruin tho so would not suprise me that most of the city is buried underground.(and that is several thousand years old)
Well another argument for this is that they decided to change things as they began to figure out the actual place of the Dragon Cult in the history of Skyrim. I agree that Labrynthian should've been more like an actual labyrinth, the way it was designed for Skyrim was to exist as an ancient Nordic city named Bromjunaar, which may not have been something that they considered when making the place for Arena (the name Labrynthian could have just been in reference to the labyrinth, and then later extended out to the ruins as a whole). It would've been cool to have to navigate a labyrinth before you locate Morokei
@@aiden1780 en.uesp.net/wiki/Arena:Labyrinthian it was huge, but what we see in skyrim is a crumbling ruin,
i wish someone could mod labyrinthian into a huge complex
Happy 7th birthday skyrim!
In elder scrolls 6. How about nord clans having access to these masks in game? And occupying the labyrinth??? Not all but one
One of my favorite places in the whole series but I wish it was more of a maze than a direct path and I’d hoped it was wayyy bigger
A labyrinth is a direct path. It's not the same thing as a maze
I WAS WRONG,SO DISREGARD THIS COMMENT. ONLY LEAVING THIS IN FOR CONTEXT ON LATER COMMENTS.
Paige C The comment implies that they know the difference already between a maze and labyrinth, considering they say they wished it was MORE like a maze (forked paths) THAN a linear one (labyrinth). Yes its name implies a labyrinth, which you expect to be linear, but this person wishes it had been a maze.
I didn’t know the difference I thought it was the same cuz in the movie the labyrinth it had all kinds of different paths so thanks I learned something today
Moto-Medics Then I stand corrected! I shall edit my previous comment, but leave it in, so people reading will understand what happened. 😁
Lora Elstad either way I still wish it was a “maze” then

So Shalidor was of the mind that magic should not be used among the common folk... similar to the Psijic order. This puts Shalidor and Galerion at odds with each other.
I wonder how Galerion reconciles the fact that Shalidor's spirit is basically directing Galerion's Mage's Guild in ESO.
By far my favorite location in Skyrim
I just remember Lydia getting lost in the labyrinth and me having to reset my save file in order to get her out... See I like closing doors behind me, so I closed the steel bars after I went through. of course, you fall through those holes in the floor in order to move to next half of the labyrinth, and Lydia didn't do that, getting stuck in the maze. She did manage to make it back to the entrance, but she would not pull the chain to unlock the entrance, no matter how many times I told her to.
* sigh * Guess she is a fool... I remember her walking passed me, greeting me, and just as she disappeared offscreen, there was a loud CLANG, as she'd walked into something.
Do you get to the cloud district very often? Oh what am i saying of course you dont
I have a mod that makes nazeem fly into the sky after that line. You should see him bounce!
Do you get to the hall of the dead very often? Oh what am i saying of course you do Nazeem you are dead!

Jumbo Gayming Bless you, Laddie! 🙏🏻
Imma Fush Ro Dah your ass back to the cloud district.
Did you guys know the power of the Dragonborn displayed in Skyrim would realistically be WAY stronger. I just think they had to draw it back a little for the sake of performance lmao
Since the place was a test for me arch mages could it be this reason the dragon born was named the new arch mage after completing the story?
I really enjoyed this video, not much out there giving a comprehensive story about this place. I also enjoy it because it's not about Fallout 76. Keep up TES stuff guys. Love it and great job.
One thing i don't get. How did a big metropolis become a mountain? I mean humans don't live underground for a long period of time
Im guessing over thousands of years natural disaster happened as well general decline in the buildings which lead to it becoming ruins
@@michaelajw_ But the intricate caves and the Rock formations around it how did they occur?
Same with every ancient nord settlement. Saarthal, for example.
You just keep a hand on one side and follow the winding path... You're bound to reach the exit...
9:10 the correct word would be 'Creeds' or if more individualistic 'Beliefs' as a creed is a more general and multitudinous concept, but still deals with belief. Philosophy is more methodology rather than something accepted as fact or something suggested to be true. A philosophy doesn't exist unless you mean it as a progression of steps that one takes to gain further knowledge or insight, since philosophy is the method by which one gains either facts or gains reasons to in future gain or lose beliefs.
I wanna know who that first coward Arch M age was that said it's too dangerous to do the maze.
Does anyone know the music used in this video?
It's the music you hear when in the open map usually during morning, but you can generally hear it any time
A maze where you only have to go forward. :P no forks in the path lol...
Sovjetikos labyrinths have no forks. It's what differentiates them from mazes
I'm currently watching someone else's playlist of your stuff because you don't have your lore videos separated into a playlist by themselves without all the builds/podcasts/gameplay videos mixed in. I don't know if it affects you guys monetarily but I'd rather use a straight lore playlist from you than hope whatever rando has kept up to date with your content. please make a dedicated elder scrolls lore playlist. Thank you.
Great vid. Really enjoyed it.
Hey fudgemuppet I'm a huge fan and have a theory I'd really like you to look into. I believe aldmeris was a real place, a floating island or piece of mundus above tamriel. I think all the elves were holding onto their divinity during the dawn, while the wandering elenfoy(sp?) Committed to mundus. I believe that as aldmeris was above tamriel moving in a southwestern direction, the Falmer and dwemer "fell off". The falmer were extremely devout, so much that I believed they "followed" the example of the divines who committed to mundus, and committed themselves, breaking off of aldmeris early, landing in skyrim with their advanced magics. The dwemer I believe did the exact opposite. They gave the gods no glory, and instead believed in their own abilities. This disregard for the etheral that they were still apart of wind up "expelling" them from aldmeris. It is likely the dwemers disregard had them leave aldmeris before the falmers faith did the same to them, which is why the dwemer are found farther to the east in morrorwind. Aldmeris starts in the northeast and moves southwest until eventually "falling/combining" into/with mundus completely. I am a huge lore fan and I think this to be an extremely valid theory, however I do not have the resources to research it like you do. If you could explore my theory I would love to see what you come up with, this has been on my mind a long time. Thanks in advance ! Great lore videos by the way! Plz look into the Aldmeris theory. Thanks again!
Who was the first living thing in the Elder Scroll's universe?
look up "TheExploringSeries" on youtube. he does lore videos and did a whole series on the elder scrolls
@@balloonedraccoon2503 thanks
In the elder scrolls universe, the universe is actually being dreamt by some being outside of it, so technically that would be the first living thing.

Damn my wife thinks I’m addictive obsessed with SkyRim but after seeing this and the Comments I can honestly say I’m not. This guy here is a encyclopedia for Skyrim I’m a new subscriber. Just found this Wooden Mask today. After having the game 2 years
8:03 Wait, what? Is that maze for real? Have I been playing for all of these years and never once found that maze?!
Wonderful lore video!!! Cheers
