Thank you, very good video. I have just bought a T200 as a complete novice and your video is way way better than the official one. It was clear step by step easy to follow and gave me the confidence to plug in and program about £200 worth of batteries, program the T200 and charge them up. TX mate
that "thing" on your power cord is the same as on most laptop power supplies and other sensitive electronics its a ferrite bead or ferrite choke "A ferrite bead or ferrite choke is a passive electric component that suppresses high-frequency noise in electronic circuits. It is a specific type of electronic choke. Ferrite beads employ high-frequency current dissipation in a ferrite ceramic to build high-frequency noise suppression devices."
Thank You Sir. I've bought a T100 and despite the instructions is always good to have a kinda of tutorial how to do it🙂 Many Thanks and Keep on with your Great Work 👌👌👌
This is what I also tell all my customers for years. Do not buy cheap chargers and say the exact same reasons as you mentioned. This looks like a good charger and I will be recommending them. I might even stock them depending on how you get on. Thanks for the review.
So far its doing great how ever the only thing i found out that it actually does not charge Lipo batteries to an exact of 4.20v per cell. each time batteries come out like 4.19v or 4.18 or so. While I charge with ISDT D2 Pro and right after disconnecting fully charged battery I can see batteries on 4.20v per cell which will drop obviously in a minute or two to 4.19. apart from that everything works perfect on this charger
@@alishanmao Still not bad. We are only talking about 0.01 to 0.02 volts. Obviously no way to calibrate it as you would have done that by now. Thanks again.
yeah honestly I do not mind that. given the temps and weather conditions, all batteries will drop to 4.19 and 4.18 or so. no battery will ever keep exact 4.20 LOL
Good video i have 3x of these T200 charges as you say they are quality. You can also scroll through some info while charging the battery with the minus - button if pressed not just the + button. Good wrk
This device has a huge problem, when you charge / discharge using only the main power port it'll not reflect the voltage correct, so it'll finish charging / discharging before it gets to the required voltage. It can be solved by connecting the balance cable which will measure the voltage correctly... But then there are 2 more problems 1. The maximum current that's allowed is 0.7A both in charge and discharge 2. You'll have to disassemble the battery if you don't have a direct balancing connected all the time which is annoying
Just bought 2 of these, and they are superb! Only thing is I cant find a dc input cable for them anywhere! What style connector is it called on the back of the charger so I can make my own 12v dc input leads please? Thanks!
I have a question, from the A/C power can you get 3.3a per channel at the same time? I charge two 6s 3300 batteries. My current charge can only do 3.3a with DC, I want to be able to do it with A/C also.
@@alishanmao I have a skyrc d100 v2. When I use the AC plug it only get 50watts per channel and can only do 2.1amp when doing both. If I use DC, I get 100w per channel and it can do 3.3amps no problem. I order the T200 today, I am hoping at 100w on each channel should be able to do 3.3 on both.
Would you recommend the HTRC T400 Pro or the SkyRC T200 charger? Both are priced at almost the same price and I am not sure which one is better. I like the big color screen on the T400, but I am not sure if it is the better charger of these two.
@@alishanmao Thanks for these links, suggestions, but I am searching a good all-in-one charger which can charge almost all batteries types, not only lithium batteries. HTRC T400 Pro and SkyRC T200 can charge everything, but I am not sure which one of these chargers is the better one.
I have a GENS ACE 4S Lipo and it says do not charge using more than 1C. What does this mean exactly? I selected 6.8 amps as its capacity is 6800mah. There is no option on the charger to select the C rating. please advise. thanks
I think skyrc is outdated. The menu has no change from the skyrc imax b6ac. I think they are using the same internals in different housing and increasing some charging power. I woudl go for the isdt or hota charger that uses new tech.
to me SkyRC and ISDT have worked out really nice. Hota or HTRC have new tech but too fancy and too many options. not very good performance. ISDT, SkyRC and EVPeak have the best chargers for performance.
I was thinking to myself the whole time, "Those cheap bastards put two of the imax b6 mini units in one box with a giant AC power supply!" I'm glad I'm not the only one who caught this. It even has the harsh 18v input limit that has annoyed me with the mini (can't use a laptop charger). I do love my BD200 discharger though. If used with a Windows laptop, it has very sophisticated controls and analysis.
@@alishanmao I love my ToolkitRC M8 300w charger which cost 35 USD and can charge 8s and can be powered by any power supply you might have sitting around. It has a clunky interface, but there are actually a lot of features hidden there.
You don't change what is not broken. I could care less if it has a fancy display or what not. I've had a genuine skyrc imax b6ac v2 since release and it takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
just curiouse do you ever charger at a higher amperage as that decreases the battery packs internal resistance. also those flureon lipos are poor quality.
Need help. I ordered t200 and its on its way but none of my lipos are using xt60 plugs. Can I use normal charge leads to charge my t plug and TRX lipos? I'm kinda new at this and any help would be appreciated.
Does this one require a PSU? to maximize it's output? example in skyrc d100v2 we use a 12v30a power supply unit to maximize it's output to 200W. I'm using it to charge NiMH cells.
@@alishanmao Wow, I was leaning towards the Hota d6 but I value your opinion , why do think the T200 is a better choice would like to know your thoughts. Thanks.
SkyRC is one of the oldest Charger makers. they have more experience and more proven record of their chargers. plus I have used SkyRC Chargers for very long without any issues. though T200 has an old school, outdated UI but it does a great job.

Just put a 6s 4000mAh in storage mode... came out 33% ????? that is not correct it should be between 48 and 50 %. 3.85 volt per cell. Bad software hope an update will be available soon.
I have one of these. I have 3 Different Brands of Lipo. After setting it for each particular Brand and Plugging them in, It reads Connection Break???? on all Three. Edit: Instructions say NOTHING About having to Plug the Main Wires into it also along with the Balance Leads.. Unlike the B3 Charger that came with my Truck that you only plug the Balance Leads into...

After carefull reading of the manual it shows that 3.85Volt storage is available when LiHV is selected.
