I bought this because my T100 cannot charge 1s Lipo which is used for LMP/GT12. Easy to use charger and the discharge function is useful for brand new NIMH batteries to get them up to full capacity before racing. Nice review!
Thanks very much 👍 🤣 Thanks, had that ring since I was 16! Got it on holiday in Australia 👍 You're the first person to mention it, surprised no-one else has tbh! 🤣
I'm definitely going to purchase one of these, based on your review. Thanks. Why is it that we are told to use a charging bag or ammo box, but the balance cables are so short. Are there extensions available ?
It's cool charger, but one thing is bad(maybe only mine device). Sometimes it charge with more amps than I set, e.g. I set 1.0A and occasionally i can see more on screen, like 1.2 or even 1.6A.
Ah ok, I'm not sure why it would do that, unless it relates to voltage or something, electrics aren't my strong point! 🤣🤦 I mostly use the T100 as I'm mostly charging 2s or 3s batteries for my crawlers. Both chargers have been very reliable so far. The main thing I don't like about the T200 is how loud it is. 👍
The balance port is mainly for a lipo battery. For a nimh or nicd, you'd just connect it to the charge port. Lipo battery is so much better than old skool nimh/nicd. 👍
@rafs_tamiya If you check the specs it will tell you what batteries it can charge. If you're only charging nimh batteries, I'd get the T100 instead. Check out my Reviews playlist 👍
@@DoURC the only thing that puts me off the t100 is it's 5amp. My charger that i have now is 5amp and it takes an hr and a half to fully charge a 6000mah from storage charge
@@DoURC Hi bought a sky T200 charger from al's hobbies yesterday, with me today and already charged my packs for the weekend. very good charger well pleased
@DoURC I can't seem to find a balance board for the rc t200 I have purchased a soldering kit am going to swap them all over or just use xt60 to deans any advice thanks
@theharlemshow1573 I would just use an xt60 to deans cable, that's what I do. They're like £2 each. Why do you need a balance board, the charger does the balancing for you, just plug your balance cable into the balance port on the charger. 👍
@TheHarlemShow01 No this has balance ports on it. If your batteries are xt60, just plug them into the charger, plug in the balance cable and away you go. The balance port is above the xt60 port on the front. 👍
This device has a huge problem, when you charge / discharge using only the main power port it'll not reflect the voltage correct, so it'll finish charging / discharging before it gets to the required voltage. It can be solved by connecting the balance cable which will measure the voltage correctly... But then there are 2 more problems 1. The maximum current that's allowed is 0.7A both in charge and discharge 2. You'll have to disassemble the battery if you don't have a direct balancing connected all the time which is annoying
If you're charging a battery like a lipo that has a balance cable, tbh you should always be using it! Not sure why you wouldn't tbh unless you like setting your house on fire?! 🤷♂️😬 It doesn't only charge at 0.7A, it depends what you set it too. It can charge at up to 5A and you set it appropriate to the battery capacity. I have this and the T100, if it was only charging my lipos at 0.7A it would take all day to charge some of my batteries! I regularly charge 2S and 3S 5000mah and 8000mah batteries with no issues at all. Perhaps you need to check your settings. 👍😉

Thanks very much. 👍
Great feedback from another owner too. For the money it's a great charger. It's my most used charger. 👍
I think that the sound is a safe feature if you’re looking at it positively it reminds you that you are still young and have your faculties about you!
🤣 Yeah I'm sure it's meant to be helpful, but I just find the beep tones annoying. 👍
@@DoURC would be better to be able to change the tone and volume of the beeeeping.
the fan is loud like a small vacume.
Nice review of dual charger!!
Thanks very much 👍
Super chargeur 👍

cool charger and great review
Thanks very much mate. 👍
Nice 👌 I should get one of those 😀😀😀👍👍
They are really good. If you don't need to charge over 3s, the SkyRC T100 is smaller and really good, bit quieter too. 👍
nice vid😊👍
Thanks very much mate 👍
Hi. Do you have any squizing when you put your ears nerest plastic body ? I bought it and after.power connection i can hears some squizing 😢
I'm not sure what you mean sorry, what is squizing?
I'm definitely going to purchase one of these, based on your review. Thanks.

Excellent, glad it was helpful. 👍
I'm sure you can get cables. I just store mine like that, don't charge them in a bag. 👍

Does this show the charge of the individual cells?
It shows the voltage per cell and then the total charge. 👍
Hi, time limit and mah limit has t100 too...
Yeah the T100 has those settings too. 👍
Is the balance port workng if i charge a 6Pcs. AA battery for tamiya
The balance port is mainly for a lipo battery. For a nimh or nicd, you'd just connect it to the charge port.

Can it handle a 6S 7500 mah Lipo battery?
Yeah, you could technically charge two at once at 7.5amps. 👍
Ok thanks 😊
@shaunwee7658 No problem 👍
My maximum battery size is 4s 6000mah.
Would you recommend the t100 or t200 for this?
I'd go for the T100 tbh. Its smaller and quieter and will still charge two 4S batteries no issue. 👍

@@DoURC thanks for the info. 👍
Hi does the charger come with a power lead ?
Do you mean for the charger itself to plug into the wall, or to connect the batteries? Wall charger yes. 👍
@@DoURC yep wall charger glad it comes with a lead ,my last charger from overlander came with no lead that was extra..
@lee Pering Ah cool, glad to help. That's no good on a charger without a power cable, bit hard to charge your batteries if you can't plug it in! 🤣🤦

Just purchased one of these didn't realise it doesn't come with leads which is not good for the price of them
It's because it has the xt60 built into it. 👍
