I record a podcast for a disability advocacy coalition called The Upgrade Medicaid Podcast. We shoot video too for social media posts.
Can you go Live & stream from RUclips on a Gx7 for greater than 16 mins?
Happy new year. 🎊🎆
So I have a podcast and it’s all about art and art life and giving art tips to aspiring artist and I also have my live artist series that I do have on Facebook but I would really appreciate if you guys could give a budget friendly option this option that you were given is still ranging to like almost $1000 I’m not trying to spend that much right now? Or can you recommend something specifically for Cell phones setup?
Yes!! I am starting a podcast , where students can call and i help them with english subject..my budget is under 500$..but i will be using my samsung phone camera..your videos helped me a lot to decide..thanks! Btw i'm in Ethiopia.
Looking at getting into the game as a reach out to fellow veterans. Just a resorce to allow people to call in and share military stories and/or life experiences transitioning out to civilian life. 100% new to it so there's a lot to learn!!!
Please, can you do a video about how you edit the podcast video? How you combined the multiple angles and how you synched up the audio? That would help so much. But thank you for this great video. It was very helpful.
I’m guessing you take the audio recording and load it to a video editing program, along with your videos, and match the audio with the video audio with all of the video files… would take some time but as soon as you match the audios, editing the cameras cuts should be easy from there
Please respond. It’s a good question. I’m hoping you have a trick that simplifies post sync
Still no response and I need this info 😩
in Premiere pro you can use the "Synchronize" tool
Same question
Starting a RUclips channel was by far the best decision I've ever made in my life. But I thought about starting a podcast. The internet has so much opportunity available. We just need to take advantage and take action. This is indeed the greatest and easiest time to become an entrepreneur, thanks to the internet. Happy 2020 everyone😊🍾🙌🏾
We agree. Happy 2020 Juice!
Juice can I have a follow back. I see you have vegan videos and you’re welcome to see my vegan videos😇

@@arikvarden it's always a pleasure connecting with a fellow vegan on social media. I'd be more than happy to subscriber🙌🏾😊
Juice thank you bro👍🏻 the best of luck
This video came at the perfect time. I am literally waiting on my podcast equipment to arrive in the AM. Thx for all the tips
Im wanting to start doing video casting and this answered my question about how to set up for multiple interviews.
THANKS SO MUCH.
Amazing work! Keep doing what you are doing. You provide a great deal of inspiration to us every video. Blessings!
Yes , been thinking of podcasts, one for beauty secrets , for those who cannot afford the high end beauty products, and tips on wedding planning. Thank you for the info
As usual, you guys are making videos for exactly what I need 😎
Thank you for the great info.
Happy to help! And Happy New Year!
Awesome. Powering through your vids! Working on the video aspect of my podcast now - have done completely audio only until now because I've been doing a lot of interviews remotely (for obvious social-distancing reasons lol). Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for this video. I’m glad I found your channel. I am working on starting a video podcast with my son. Who is a wrestler working towards his long time goal to make Team USA for Wrestling.
Thank you for all your advice with video podcasts, I recently started The Reckless Experience with Mark podcast on Spotify and adjusting from just audio to video episodes. thanks again for making these great videos.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! I definitely have to step my audio game up!
Man, it’s almost like you guys are in my mind🙌🏾
Great info! This channel is one of the resources we used when we started. Appreciate you!

Thankyou so much guys
Interesting video! We only have one Panasonic Handycam and one Zoom H1n for interviews and a future podcast, but we will take a look again to this video when we get more cameras and recorders. Greetings from Spain.
Super helpful. Thanks man!

@@arikvarden You got it! I don't eat meat as well. Looking forward to your channel!!!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Want to start a podcast in the near future thanks👍🏾 for all the suggestions, just started my RUclips channel.
Starting up my urban community podcast. Unfortunately I will be changing ther name and format due to creative differences. The new name will be THE BLOCK Podcast.
Got mostly all of my equipment just grabbing up some cameras now so your video really gave me some good advice. I truly appreciate you taking the time to create some helpful content. Hope you can tune in once im up and going in a few weeks. Thanks once again.
Really dope video bro
Happy New Year! Enjoyed this video. I was wondering if there is an advantage of using a dynamic mic like the Shure SM7B instead of a condenser mic or even a condenser lav mic like the Sony ECM-44B which allow you to skip the cloudlifter and save some money.
This is next level stuff, need to take notes for my own channel!!
Congratulations on starting a RUclips channel👏👏👏😊
Great setup. Just one thing; you said that just to plug the H6 into an output. Idk if that is possible in US with 110V but in Sweden and countries with 220V you get an annoying ground buzz because of some bug and is extremely hard to edit out even using Izotope's denoise-tool.
Great video!
This was a great video but I would've really liked to see how you align the 3 cameras and 3 lights visually for a 3-camera angle setup.
Super helpful video
Our podcast is about manga and anime and more specifically One Piece. Great Tips as always Omar !
Wow good job 👏
Good video bro just subscribed
Good explanation
so with your sony a7iii what do you do about the 30 minute recording limit?
Nice bro thinking of starting a podcast 2020 and this definitely helps keep it up 🔥
Nice! What topic?
@@ThinkMediaTV not sure yet but I'm thinking about video editing/graphics design tips and tricks
By any chance do u have an updated version or is this hardware still pretty good ? Great video Thank you
Awesome 👏
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Is there a link for the headphones you suggest for a podcast? Thanks for the help...love your videos.
man thanks for all the info
Starting a podcast on Fantasy sports and mixing in every day stuff like family life, sporting events, local business etc... Thanks for the info. I have most of what we need so far. I am more worried about setting everything up and editing. Is there a software you recommend?
I always wondered how they do shoot podcast videos, thank you for sharing
Glad you found this video helpful! Happy New Year!
Happy new year!
Sultan’s Financial Journey can I have a follow back😇
Im looking in to starting a video-podcast, and «normal» podcast about the hiphop society here in Norway. Both including old school, and newer artists. I am a DJ, so it will have a radio-vibe, where i will play some music in between segments:)
Hey! Im looking at video cameras for podcasts and from what I've seen camcorders seem to be the perfect choice. They also typically cost much less and can record for very long time. Any reason I shouldn't use these and would prefer something like the Canon G7?
If I was to do a video podcast would you suggest me doing with it my current channel already or is it a better idea to start a fresh channel for just the podcast content?
WINBUSH can I have a follow back 😇
Do you use something to hit record all at once? Or do you just press record on each camera?
Great video - thank you!!!
Are the autofocus/focus issues on the G7x miii fixed to the point that you’re confident the cameras won’t let you down in a setup like this?
Autofocus set to manual on all cameras in this case. Because yet - there are AF issues on the g7x mark iii (video review ruclips.net/video/thxH1YJPKbQ/видео.html)
@@ThinkMediaTV How do you get around the 30 minute recording limit for your video podcasts with this camera?
I know nothing, as Scholtz used to say, gathering info to plot a course. Thank you folks.
QUESTION:
I have a Canon EOS 80D, EOS 70D and a Sony HXR-NX3. Would this be ok to use on a podcast?
Hi! Could you do a video on a 2-person video podcast setup with a basic camera like Canon M50? I'm interested in using clip-on mics as they are more affordable. I'm trying to figure out a low cost setup, but it's difficult to find information. :)
I would like best/ cheap/best equipment for multiple hosts. Everything is for a one person setup. Also, setup for multiple location recordings. Thanks.
Friend and I are starting one. We were doing a Pro Wrestling exclusive cast since he had been in the business, but we're thinking about doing a longer form geek content cast covering board games, tv, movies, and wrestling and make the old cast more of a segment.
hey, what sodtware did you use for podcast editing and like how do you edit all the videos together
I wanna ask bout the zoom h6. Can it record while act as audio interface on a livestream?
What basic equipment would you recommend for zoom calls? Basically, we have 2 people on one PC (me and an elderly family member, who is hard to hear) with another person on the other end, like a doctor. Would 2 Blackwire C5220 headsets for us do the trick? How do we connect and manage on our 1 PC to talk to another person on zoom? Or do we need a base Yeti? Of course, for a family member to hear better a headset would work, but I would not be able to hear the person on the other end of the zoom.
@thinkmedia how can we get this set up to also go live at the same time through OBS? I think and prefer live video uploaded to various feeds over simply a video podcast. But both would enhance engagement. Color grading in post production to feature highlights would be the ideal purpose. Would it be something where I download the live video from the platform and edit? Please help!
I can't really use this kind of setup, because I don't have someone doing production. What cameras or camcorders do you suggest if I want to shoot continuous 2-3 hour conversations?
Hi! I’ve been watching MANY of your videos as of late and I’m sooooo appreciate of the knowledge you share - I need it! I was wondering if you have (or could create) a video on creating a podcast with multiple cameras…on a budget. I’m a school teacher; I really don’t want to break the bank with this project of mine. I will definitely be using my phone as one of the cameras, and I’m currently looking into purchasing a VETEK 1080P camcorder. I have no idea if that is a smart option or not, I just know it’s much cheaper than the $800 options listed in this video! 😂 Please help!
Wow, thanks a lot G🙏 . Liked. Subscribed.
I would really like to start a simple podcast talking about everyday stuff in my uni and society, from crime, to purpose, to religion, clout, racism, gender, culture, taboos and just fun stuff you know, i live in the Southern Part of Africa, there is not a lot of that type of content around so I feel like i wanna provide a platform for young people like to come and voice their opinions about their world. Thanks again for the video, what i liked the most from here was the microphone ideas and those lights, god those lights are amazing!
Do those camera's have HDM output that one could connect to an ATEM Mini to overcome recording limitations?
What desk do you use...its great for multiple guests?
Now that DVE is out of business any ideas where to buy those lights - Are they made by someone else now or is there something equivalent you can recommend?
Hi I have a podcast and it’s a visual one where I record on zoom I want to go more professional and start setting up with multiple cameras I saw a few things you went over but I don’t know what exactly I would need
What you think about the shure srh440 ? I want I want to buy a pair for my podcast and audiobooks but I don’t know which is better ?
I have a substancial amount of background hissing (noise floor) with my zoom podtrack p4 that is picked up in the audio recording and I can hear it through the headphones during the recording session. How do I get rid of this?
I just got the Zoom H6 and the Canon M50! I can’t afford the Shure Mics, however I am considering either the Samson Q2U, or Rode Podmic. What do you think?
Rode Podmic! Going to be covering those soon!
@@ThinkMediaTV Awesome! Looking forward to it!
Legit!
what about using a canon t3 or t5i for pod casting?
I'm confused on how to connect a Shure SM7B to a macbook for a video podcast. I'm looking at connecting the Shure microphone via XLR cable to a Shure X2U Adapter, then to the macbook. How is this different from connecting the Shure microphone via XLR cable to a cloudlifter, then to a recorder? Can you explain the differences between connecting directly to a laptop using an adapter vs connecting to a recorder, and which produces the best audio? Thank you!!
What about the lumix g80 for video on podcast?
Question: is the client buying those three canon cameras from you, or are they “renting” it from think media or you as part of the service to record the podcast?
Just curious because I’m in a similar situation with some clients. (Offering to use my hardware instead of having them buy all of it)
Started my podcast in 2021(Midnight Man with Jaden Zander) on Spotify... This video was in 2019! Damn... Where was I???!!!
Can you PLEASE show how to do a 2 angle podcast on iPhones. I’m confused on the setup with my external mic, computer, and phone
I have nikon z50 will that be ok for video podcast?
Hi Omar, thanks for the video, question please. The Canon camera you are suggesting, doesn't it have a 29 minute 59 second record time limit before it automatically stops? What do you do then? Just press the shutter release to start a new clip? What if you're not paying attention to the time limit?
I was thinking the same thing
I'm wondering the same...
How do you connect the multiple cameras? Or rather, what are you connecting them to? Directly to the computer? or is there another device they are connected to?
Do I need a sound cloud to run a SM7B through the Rode Podcaster Pro ?
Would using a GoPro be bad for me to start video podcasting? I already own one and I’d like to use it if it doesn’t suck for podcasting
Hey can you do a video how to layout the video podcast setting completely
Our team making podcasts.

Is there not a way to capture audio and video simultaneously on a 3 camera 3 mic setup?
I just shot a podcast on 3 iPhones for the video then I plugged 3 USB mics into my laptop and recorded the audio on OBS.
How do you get the audio and video to work together if you are using an external mic with a camera :/ but cheap
Been thinking of a "Sports Talk" podcast.. In addition to the fitness RUclips Vlog.. Not sure yet.
Go for it bro I’m about to do something similar
Does the blanket on top of the table dampen any fumbling noise?
The only thing with using the iPhone for recording video is the audio drift in post
I seem to not understand what program is being used I mean am I just recording ok a camera and matching audio to video on Adobe or what
I want to interview entrepreneurs and industry leaders on their journey as well as tips for young entrepreneurs. Hoping to start this in 2020
