As someone who was considered obese and lost weight I struggle more with weight now than I did before. Those that got her to change the video aren’t true fans otherwise they’d see that she was opening up about her struggles with weight and they just 💩all over her feelings. I guess some people just can’t seem to understand empathy.
I heard something about this. It’s when she was on the scale, right? I don’t get the uproar either. It was about her own personal experience and I don’t see it as dangerous at all. Thank you for sharing your story. - kloquewerk
Exactly. Everyone has to make everything about themselves. Literally they should have LISTENED to the song. The problem is THEMSELVES. The point of the song was staring them in their face and they still missed it. Smh
@@Alibumstead atleast she still got the point across pretty effectively this way, but I agree, it wasn't fatshaming at all, it was just social commentary on the expectations society puts on women and how that lead to her eating disorder
P.s. I'm just beginning this video. So not saying yall haven't done it better lol but it just randomly came to me.. Kobe's words...& felt compelled to say it lol
This is about depression, self loathing , weight gain worries, betrayal, self doubts, etc, etc.. Thec3 characters at the funeral might be a referring to Kim, Kanye and Scott Borchetta. She wrote, and directed this too, she is brilliant!
I get how one of them could be a parallel to scott borchetta because in the My tears ricochet video she sang about him wearing the jewelery that she gave him as he buried her. But i dont think kim and kanye make sense, they were never people she really trusted any of her assets to. I'm not sure if these characters represent anyone specific. I think it's just the general fear of people only wanting to be associated with you for your wealth. And you being a cause of THEIR fight
You should listen to: - All too well (10 minute version) - Tolerate it - Would’ve, could’ve, should’ve - Soon you’ll get better - Nothing New - Vigilante shit - Exile - Mad woman - Peace - Honestly all of the Reputation album - The last time - Marjorie - Last kiss - Haunted - Ronan (if you dare) These are some of my favorites, but she has made so many amazing songs and her songwriting is just magnificent.
Since you guys said you talk a lot about self awareness & mental health, I'd love to see your reaction to "This is Me Trying"(about mental health & addiction-i recommend the version from the Long Pond Studio Sessions with the explanation of the song by Taylor before the performance) from Tays Folklore album & "Forever Winter" (about people in her life struggling with mental illness & suicidal ideation & specifically a friend she lost to suicide). Also, Ronan is an amazing song she wrote from someone else's perspective(a true story). I think you'd really appreciate the depth of her lyricism with these! Thanks for the reaction
@@lbeast2855 I feel you! That songs gets me every time! Especially the live version she did for the pandemic, even though she said she'd never be able to do it live since its about her Mom! You could feel how hard it was for her!
@@lbeast2855 You should! There is a video of it here on YT from the pandemic concert & it's just her on her piano at home! You'll definitely be in tears!

That was a good reaction, thank you for reacting to her . You should’ve put first time hearing Taylor Swift” in your title I bet you would’ve got a lot more views. should react to “blank space” or “shake it off” by Taylor Swift.

@@mh0mz I disagree. Throughout her discography she experiments with different sounds and genres, if you ever really analyzed or listened to her albums. It speaks to her lack of convictions that she would rather appease middling fans with zero willpower or introspection than to stand by her art.
Kobe's interview where he talks about Taylor...no one has ever described her better in terms of her talent & polarity.
RIP Mamba & sweet baby girl.

I found it endearing that they weren't enthused about it to start, but it clearly grew on them. The power of Taylor prevailed...lol.
Holding herself accountable or reveling in her flaws? Enjoying her narcissism.
